‘I like Hitler’: Balaclava-clad Kanye West has ‘full mental health breakdown’ on Alex Jones podcast alongside white supremacist Nick Fuentes as he spouts MORE anti-Semitic bile – and encourage people to visit R. Kelly and Weinstein in prison

Kanye West said he ‘likes’ and ‘loves’ Hitler’, defended Nazis and denied the Holocaust on Thursday during an unhinged appearance on Alex Jones’ podcast Infowars that many viewers described as a live on-air mental breakdown.

Wearing a fabric mask to cover his entire face, West ranted: ‘I see good things about Hilter… every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler.’

Later, he said the Germans ‘had a really good leader at one point’, and denied that Hitler had ordered the deaths of 6 million Jews.

Military was told to prepare to intervene in convoy protests, Defence Department official says

The Defence Department’s top official says he directed the military to prepare to intervene in the “Freedom Convoy” protests earlier this year, but the resulting plans were never seriously considered – in part due to concerns about another Oka Crisis.

Deputy minister Bill Matthews and another top defence official also said the Canadian Armed Forces was prepared to fly police officers to demonstration sites across the country, but that its tow trucks were too big – and too old – to help with the protests.

Matthews and Defence Department associate deputy minister Stefanie Beck made the comments in an August interview with lawyers for the public inquiry looking into the Liberal government’s decision to use the Emergencies Act to end the protests.

That’s so Canada – Our tow trucks are crap.

Matt Taibbi, Douglas Murray Dominate Trust-in-Media Debate – Trucker Convoy featured prominently

Toronto — Conservative commentator Douglas Murray and veteran reporter Matt Taibbi soundly defeated their opponents in a Wednesday evening debate on the question of whether to trust the mainstream media, convincing a significant segment of the audience to abandon their faith in an institution they say is hopelessly compromised by bias.

… The Canadian trucker protests featured prominently in the debate. During Murray’s opening remarks, the British commentator and fellow National Review contributor, laid into Prime Minister Trudeau and Canadian media outlets for failing to challenge the government-approved narrative that the protests were organized by bigots of various stripes.

“The Canadian mainstream media acted as an amen chorus of the Canadian government,” Murray argued. “Now why is this is rancid? So utterly, utterly, rancid and corrupt? Because in this country your media–your mainstream media–is funded by the government.”

The new vandals: how museums turned on their own collections

This week I had the pleasure of going to the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. I say ‘the pleasure’ but visiting the Pitt Rivers was never precisely a pleasure. Twenty years ago, as an undergraduate, the collection was something of a rite of initiation. The place, filled with strange and wondrous objects, was famed above all for its gruesome pickled heads: artefacts reminiscent of the ‘coconut’ that the one-eyed Brigadier Ritchie-Hook collects in Evelyn Waugh’s Sword of Honour.

What did we think of them in those now distant days? That they were part of another age, naturally – a collection of artefacts from another time, representing another era, with its interests and curiosities.

This is the courtyard of the Isabella Gardner Museum in Boston.

Kathy purchased a similar pic when we enjoyed a wonderful visit there.

It hangs in our home and I am glad of the memory it keeps warm in my heart.

Kathy took me places I would never think to go.

I love her for that.

Russkies Whack ‘Race-Baiting’ Pope Francis

Perhaps they’re most upset that in a remarkable new interview the pope still wouldn’t mention Vladimir Putin by name.

Pope Francis has walked on eggshells to avoid the wrath of Vladimir Putin and, likewise, of the Russian Orthodox Church, which has long presented an altogether intractable if not impossible set of challenges for the Roman Catholic Church, recently rearing its ugly head yet again in the Ukraine war (that’s a separate column altogether). Francis has repeatedly and delicately prayed for the people of Ukraine and of Russia, each step of the way carefully avoiding poking a stick at the bear in the living room: Vladimir Putin.

That appears to have changed.

Brazen, shameless hypocrisy of the West over China lockdown protests

HOW do you know when politicians are lying? When they are signalling virtue. As the last three years has shown, their supposed liberal values are a façade, masking a self-serving and authoritarian outlook. Unless useful to their career, they are not really interested in the wants and needs of ordinary people. They want to be seen as progressive and compassionate, but by performance rather than by principles and practice. Our corrupt mainstream media do their bidding.

Such pretence is evident in the brazenly hypocritical reactions to protests in China against Covid-19 restrictions. Political leaders and mainstream newspapers are competing for the most sanctimonious grandstanding.

Biden killed Canada’s Keystone XL, but just cut deal with ‘terrorist’ Venezuela

Wonder how Canadian PrimeMinister Justin Trudeau feels now that U.S. President Joe Biden is turning to Venezuela to ramp up oil for Western markets?

You know, the same Venezuela whose President Nicolas Maduro still has a $15 million State Department bounty on his head for unqualified “narco-terrorism” (despite that being primarily the domain of U.S. allies in neighboring Colombia).

The same Venezuela that Washington has spent years relentlessly denigrating, sanctioning, and attempting to overthrow. The same country whose leader Western allies attempted to replace with an opposition figure, Juan Guaido, whom they all constantly referred to as “Venezuelan Interim President Juan Guaido.”

Canada: Ambassador tells EU that deforestation rules ‘burdensome’

Canada’s ambassador to the European Union has voiced concern with proposed EU rules to curb deforestation.

A November letter from Ailish Campbell said the rules add “burdensome” requirements and will hurt trade between Canada and the EU.

The EU regulation aims to limit the trade of products linked to deforestation worldwide.

Climate campaigners have called Canada’s resistance to the rules “shocking”.

Biden hosts Macron amid friction over US climate law

WASHINGTON (AP) — Presidents Joe Biden and Emmanuel Macron are celebrating the longstanding U.S.-French relationship — but these are friends with differences. The French president is using his visit to Washington to sharply criticize aspects of the U.S. president’s signature climate law as a bad deal for Europe.

It would appear that “climate” legislation is being weaponized to prevent foreign competition in domestic markets.

Russian mercenary videos ‘top 1bn views’ on TikTok

TikTok is hosting dozens of videos that glorify violence by Russia’s Wagner Group of mercenaries and they have been viewed more than a billion times, according to a new report.

Wagner has sent mercenaries into Ukraine in big numbers.

US-based NewsGuard, which focuses on online misinformation, says some of the videos appear to show the execution of a former Russian mercenary.

TikTok has said it will act against any content violating its policies.

The CDC Knew Myocarditis Was an Issue, Left it Off Post-vax Survey Anyway

Thanks to a court order, we now know that the first people to get the COVID-19 “vaccine” reported a shockingly high number of serious health issues.

Of the roughly 10 million early recipients of the vaccine, 7.7% — almost 770,000 people, mostly first responders and healthcare workers — reported needing medical care after getting the COVID-19 shot. The reports were collected via the Center for Disease Control’s (CDC) vaccine effects monitoring phone app, v-safe.

Americans are climate criminals and must pay

That’s the indictment handed up by COP27.

Three weeks ago, I warned you, dear reader, that the “climate summit” getting underway at the chic Egyptian seaside resort of Sharm El-Sheikh was up to no good. But the 12-day-long 27th Conference of the Parties—a U.N.-sponsored moveable feast dominated by fearmongering socialist globalists—exceeded even my low expectations.

The COP27 summiteers indicted America and other wealthy nations for crimes against the climate, and imposed fines in the interest of “climate justice.”

Hoorah! Suzuki Family To Remain On Public Teat! CBC chooses Suzuki’s daughter to replace Daddy as host of The Nature of Things even after countless auditions!

… After a country-wide search and countless auditions, it was difficult to choose just one host. For Cullis-Suzuki, it was “a huge, huge shock” to learn she would be co-hosting the show her father has helmed since before she was born.

They tossed in a token co-host to please the DEI/BLM gods and waste even more tax dollars.
