Cori Bush Disgusting Grifter

Bush (D-Mo.), a member of ‘the squad’, splashed out over $100,000 on ‘security services’ through the third quarter of 2022 alone, according to Federal Election Commission records, seen by Fox News Digital.

Of that, $71,201.06 was paid to St. Louis-based private security company named Peace Security. The remaining $30,000 on security services went to Cortney Merrits and Nathaniel Davis, who reportedly share an address with Bush’s campaign HQ.

Makeup Giant Ulta Goes Woke Highlighting ‘Trans Girl’ Dylan Mulvaney, Customer Base of Real Women Revolts

Ulta hires transvestites to mansplain womanhood and make-up application

Ulta may be regretting whatever marketing “genius” came up with this idea. In a recent post on Twitter, Ulta highlighted a podcast with two grown men in makeup and wigs chatting about what it’s like to be a “girl.” The makeup giant’s target audience is obviously women. It’s probably a safe bet that over 90% of Ulta’s customers are women. The choice to put men in drag in the marketing material for a company geared toward women is backfiring big time.

HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! New Omicron subvariant BA. 275.2 can evade nearly all protective antibodies: study

A new study from researchers in Sweden suggests the world could be in for a dramatic surge in COVID-19 cases this winter due to new mutations creating variants that could avoid immunity from vaccines or previous infections.

The variant BA.2.75.2, one of the latest developments in the Omicron lineage of COVID-19, can evade the majority of neutralizing antibodies in the blood, the study found, and is also resistant to several monoclonal antibody antiviral treatments that were created to treat those ill with COVID-19.

Gov. Gen. Mary Simon says it’s real important to run up trip expenses cause she’s discussing important stuff like World Peace … and don’t you forget she’s important and stuff

Indian name means “Put it on the tab” – A good argument for ditching the monarchy

Gov. Gen. Mary Simon says media’s portrayal of trip expenses was ‘unfair’ but changes could be in the works

Simon argues her travel includes important discussions about world peace

Governor General Mary Simon says that while she thinks the way catering expenses for her trip to the Middle East in March were portrayed in the media was “unfair,” a review is underway to minimize the cost of future voyages.

“I don’t even know what the orders are for meals. But I do know one thing — our meals are not very extravagant on these trips. They’re pretty much like airline meals and the way they were portrayed in the media was pretty unfair, I thought,” Simon said in an interview on CBC’s The House airing Saturday.

Why the OPP’s Upcoming Testimony at the Emergencies Act Inquiry Could Be Very Revealing

In his opening statement at the public inquiry into the feds’ use of the Emergencies Act last week, the lawyer representing the Ontario Provincial Police said the OPP didn’t need an emergency declaration to clear the convoy protests.

Two of the highest-profile convoy protest sites were in the OPP’s jurisdiction: Ottawa, ground zero of the protests, and the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, arguably the costliest of all blockades due to the high volume of goods traded between Canada and the United States over the bridge each day.

Toronto Star piece illustrates the march toward gun bans

Canada isn’t the United States. Because of how the laws work up that way, they can enact gun bans, something that really isn’t likely to hold up down this way.

Yet there are those who will continue to try and do just that.

RCMP refused release of badge numbers, fearing convoy supporters would dox officers … but had no qualms about sending Freedom Convoy blacklist to lobbyists

OTTAWA – Internal documents show the RCMP refused to release the badge numbers of officers who cleared “Freedom Convoy” protesters from the Ambassador Bridge last winter, citing a risk of violence from their supporters.

The situation was detailed in a briefing note and threat assessment prepared for RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki, who was asked to approve the decision because the force recognized it raised questions around transparency.

RCMP sent Freedom Convoy blacklist to lobbyists

Records show an RCMP blacklist of bank account holders identified as part of the Freedom Convoy movement was sent by email to lobbyists, according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

… The records show the RCMP distributed names, birth dates, phone numbers and more by unencrypted email and neither police nor Cabinet ensured the blacklist was accurate or confidential.

Al Jazeera staff allege harassment and bullying went unchecked

Kamahl Santamaria, a veteran television journalist, was just 32 days into his job at New Zealand’s top broadcaster TVNZ when he resigned.

Surprise gave way to shock as allegations about his inappropriate behaviour in the newsroom surfaced. Soon Mr Santamaria’s former colleagues at Al Jazeera, where he had worked for 16 years, began speaking out.

A BBC investigation – drawing on interviews with several current and former employees at Al Jazeera, and documentary evidence of inappropriate messages and staff complaints – has found several allegations of sexual harassment against Mr Santamaria in the broadcaster’s Doha newsroom. Some say he wasn’t the only one.

Still much to iron out on fourth anniversary of Canada’s legalization of cannabis

Monday marks the fourth anniversary of the Canadian federal government’s legalization and regulation of cannabis for adults of legal age.

It was back on Oct. 17, 2018, when the production, distribution, sale, import and export, and possession of cannabis became legal in this country, a first for a G7 nation. A year later, cannabis edible products and concentrates became legal for sale as well.

I wonder if their estimates of the size of the illicit market are optimistic.

She was sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison on August 4 after pleading guilty.

What the Conservatives’ critics list says about Poilievre’s approach to Parliament

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre has named the 71 critics and associate critics he’s tasked with holding the Liberal government to account, and his choices say a lot about the Conservatives’ strategy for the House of Commons, experts say.

It’s a long list. Poilievre has 51 critics, plus another 20 associate critics, squaring off against just 38 cabinet ministers.

Governments sometimes get accused of appointing bloated cabinets — and Poilievre could be inviting the same sort of criticism, said Conservative strategist Tim Powers.

Sounds like he’s giving a wide selection of his people a chance to rise to the occasion. Makes sense to see who makes the A-team.
