ISIS commander responsible for ‘killing an American officer’ shot dead by US special forces in midnight raid in Syria

A top ISIS leader accused of killing an American officer was shot dead by US special forces in a midnight raid deep in the heart of government controlled-territory in Syria.

Local sources said that US troops landed in the village Muluk Saray in the countryside of the Qamishli region in northeast Syria, where territory is controlled in part by US-backed Kurdish fighters and partly by the Russia-backed government.

They told news channel Al Mayadeen that the victim was named Rakan Abu Hayel, originally from the village of Tuwaimin in the eastern countryside.

Pierre Poilievre’s official YouTube videos included a hidden tag appealing to misogynistic online movements that Canada’s intelligence agencies view as a danger.

A Global News analysis of 50 of Poilievre’s most recent YouTube videos showed that they included a tag — hidden from viewers, but not from the videos’ publisher — used by a misogynistic online movement. The tag helps promote Poilievre’s videos among those circles, and signals to YouTube what users might be interested in the Conservative leader’s messaging.

Sabotage or Stupidity by an underling? Seems an awfully small demographic to warrant the inclusion of a dedicated hash tag and frankly I just don’t see it attracting an audience of any appreciable size. Am I wrong? Maybe. In the meantime I’ll blame Patrick Brown!

The far-right American radio host and conspiracy theorist is back in a Connecticut court this week, facing his second defamation trial over his “hoax” lies about the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in 2012.

But the trial hasn’t stopped Jones from hosting his regular Infowars show and website that together have millions of followers in the U.S. and around the world, including in Canada.

Just last week, Jones told his audience that he’s a big fan of Pierre Poilievre, calling him part of a “rising” movement of far-right leaders “all over the world.”

Meanwhile Trudeau has met and been photographed with child molesters, rapists, terrorists and all manner of deviants that make up the LPC family.

One of whom is being sentenced for sex assault today.

Gunman kills 35 in attack starting at Thai child care center

A gunman who attacked a child care center in Thailand and then fired from his car as he fled killed more than 30 people Thursday, including two dozen children, authorities said.

It was the deadliest mass shooting in the country’s history. The assailant, identified as a former police officer, killed his wife and child before taking his own life.

Photos and videos posted online of the day care showed the floor of one room was smeared with blood and sleeping mats scattered about. Pictures of the alphabet and other colorful decorations adorned the walls.

Russian forces shot comrade trying to surrender, says Ukrainian soldier

A Russian soldier in Kherson tried to surrender but was shot in the back by his comrades, a Ukrainian soldier has told The Telegraph.

“One of them fell to the ground at the sight of us and shouted ‘just don’t kill please, I want to live’,” said Oleksiy*, describing the moment he came face to face with Russia’s forces. “His guys started shooting from behind his back, hitting him.”

Oleksiy, a 20-year-old from a small town in Luhansk whose name has been changed for safety reasons, is fighting on the frontline in Kherson as part of Ukraine’s fastest advances of the war so far.

Feds ask court to dismiss $2.5 billion class-action lawsuit brought on by Black public servants

The federal government is asking a judge to dismiss a proposed class-action lawsuit brought forward by a group of Black public servants, who allege discriminatory practices within the public service.

The plaintiffs, led by the Black Class Action Secretariat, filed their suit against the federal government in December 2021 and are seeking damages of $2.5 billion and a court order to implement a “justice and equity promotional plan.” In their statement of claim, they say Black employees have been denied promotions and jobs because of their race and faced harassment and belittlement.
