The “queen of Canada” led supporters to Peterborough’s police station on Saturday, calling for the “citizen’s arrest” of local officers.
Instead, two of her supporters were arrested.

German police have identified four shisha-smoking Iraqi migrants as suspects in a forest fire in Saxony that took place last month and devastated the Saxon Switzerland National Park.

At least eight people have been injured after a gunman opened fire on a bus near the Western Wall in Jerusalem’s Old City, Israeli officials say.
The suspect opened fire as the pilgrims were returning from prayers at the holy site. Two people, including a pregnant woman, are in a critical condition.

Centre Ice Conservatives are warming the bench for now
Speaking to a gathering of self-described “Centre Ice Conservatives” in Edmonton on Thursday, former British Columbia premier Christy Clark offered a tidy explanation for why the people in the room had come together.
“When you look across the country, what we see are political leaders rushing to the fringes.
