Migrants Desecrate More Than 2,000 Churches Just in Greece

According to a new report published by Greece’s Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs, there were 2,339 incidents of church desecrations in the country between 2015 and 2020, when tiny Greece, seen as Europe’s eastern gateway, was flooded with migrants from the Islamic world. Greek City Times wrote regarding the report:

“There appears to be a correlation between the increase in illegal migration and the incidents of attacks on Greek Orthodox religious churches and religious spaces during the five year period which occurred during the peak of the migration crisis.”

In the most recent year recorded, 2020, there were 385 incidents against Christian churches and buildings, including “vandalism, burglary, theft, sacrilege, necromancy, robbery, placement of explosive devices and other desecrations.”

Spike Lee Doubles Down on 9/11 Trutherism In Softball WashPost Chat

Leftist movie director Spike Lee is featured on the cover of Sunday’s Washington Post Magazine with the headline “By Any Means Necessary.” That could include wild conspiracy theories about 9/11. Post interviewer K.K. Ottesen sympathetically gave Lee an opportunity to complain about having to cut 30 minutes out of his documentary NYC Epicenter spinning out arguments from 9/11 truthers.

What many convoy protesters get wrong about constitutional rights and the Governor General

… The Oakes test is used to determine if limiting a charter right is reasonable and can be justified under the law. The Oakes test says that the goal of limiting a right must be urgent and significant and that the way a right is limited must be proportional.

The Oakes test also requires a rational connection between the objective a government is trying to achieve and the right it is limiting. The right can be limited only enough to reach the objective and the harm caused by limiting a freedom must be balanced by the objective.

I’d say Trudeauscu failed the “Oakes Test.”

University warns woke students that Ernest Hemingway’s classic novel Old Man and the Sea contains graphic scenes… of FISHING

It is a story of one man’s heroic struggle against the elements and often viewed as a metaphor for life itself. But Ernest Hemingway’s classic novel The Old Man And The Sea is the latest victim of today’s woke standards, with students warned that it contains ‘graphic fishing scenes’.

Successive TV and film adaptations of the 1952 classic have been awarded U and PG certificates, suitable for children, but a content warning has been issued to History and Literature students at the University of the Highlands and Islands in Scotland, an area renowned for its fishing industry.

Ukraine’s Deadly Gamble

Remember when your parents made you visit a cranky old person you never wanted to meet.

By tying itself to a reckless and dangerous America, the Ukrainians made a blunder that client states will study for years to come

Russian President Vladimir Putin chose this war, Joe Biden said in his Thursday afternoon speech to America regarding the conflict in Ukraine. That is true, but U.S. elites also had something to do with Putin’s ugly and destructive choice—a role that Democrats and Republicans are eager to paper over with noble-sounding rhetoric about the bravery of Ukraine’s badly outgunned military. Yes, the Ukrainian soldiers standing up to Putin are very brave, but it was Americans that put them in harm’s way by using their country as a weapon, first against Russia and then against each other, with little consideration for the Ukrainian people who are now paying the price for America’s folly.

Did Nostradamus predict Ukraine-Russia war will reach France? Famous soothsayer ‘predicted a major conflict would spread to Western Europe this spring’

French prophet Nostradamus, hailed for predicting the Great Fire of London and Hitler’s rise to power, foresaw a war happening in Europe.

Although it is hard to pin down the exact dates of his predictions – laid out in his famous 1555 book Les Propheties – it is believed he envisioned there would be a major conflict this spring.

Among his 942 forecasts was the vague suggestion that France may face a threat from the east.

Emergency Powers Just Swell For Undermining Lawful Democratic Protest Says Lucki of the RCMP

Mounties used emergency powers as a ‘big deterrent,’ says head of RCMP

“We don’t have anything in laws that prevent people from coming to protests and we can’t turn them away. So for us, operationally, it was all about reducing that footprint in Ottawa and the only way to do that was to stop people from coming in or incentivizing them to leave,” Lucki told MPs on the public safety and national security committee looking into the federal government’s response to the protests.

“We used it as a big deterrent for people to come into the area. So, yes, in fact, we did use the measures that were put in the Emergencies Act, along with other authorities that we had.”

Ukraine island defenders who told Russian navy ‘go fuck yourself’ may still be alive

Ukrainian soldiers believed to have died while defending an island after telling a Russian warship to “go fuck yourself”, may still be alive, according to Ukraine’s State Border Guard.

Initial reports said the 13 border guards had died after refusing to surrender Snake Island, which sits 186 miles (300km) west of Crimea, from a Russian air and sea bombardment on Thursday.

In his address after the first day of the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, announced he would posthumously award all the soldiers the Hero of Ukraine award. “All border guards died heroically but did not give up,” Zelenskiy said.

Did they survive? Ukrainian troops reported by President Zelenskyy to have been killed after telling Russian navy to ‘Go f**k yourselves’ now seen to be ALIVE after pictures released by Russia show them being held as prisoners of war

I will remain agnostic on this one. It’s such a good story, but remember back in the day we were lead to believe Iraqi soldiers ripped Kuwaiti babies from incubators… truth is the first casualty etc etc etc.

Canada closes airspace to Russian planes amid Ukraine conflict

There are no direct flights between Russia and Canada, but several Russian flights a day pass through Canadian airspace to other countries, a spokesperson for Alghabra said.
