Antisemitism is quantifiably bad in Canada. Are Canadians just going to accept that?

Two Jewish men were stabbed after leaving a synagogue in London this week – the same area where a volunteer Jewish organization’s ambulances were torched a few weeks ago. (The first responders at the latest attack? A volunteer Jewish neighbourhood watch group.)

“It’s no longer safe to be visibly Jewish on the streets of London,” a (non-Jewish) woman, Jan Bowman, said at a demonstration afterward.

My honest take is that we will have to be rescued by the US when they decide remigration is a national security issue.

Smithsonian African American History Museum Celebrates Violent Nation of Islam

Elijah Muhammad of the Nation of Islam – Hate Whites and Jews and has his racism honoured by the Smithsonian

The National Museum of African American History and Culture, a Smithsonian Institution center in Washington, D.C., features exhibits that glorify violent radical groups like the Nation of Islam (NOI) and offer historical falsehoods on issues like slavery, a Washington Free Beacon review found.

The NOI features prominently in the museum, with exhibits offering effusive praise to the group with little mention of the organization’s history of violence, anti-White radicalism, and anti-Semitism.

Trump was right again.

A Jewish advocacy group released a report on Monday with recommendations to depoliticize Ontario classrooms. It called on the ministry of education to build a curriculum based on achievement, rather than identity.

… The same policies that have made Jewish students feel unsafe have also created inhospitable environments for Hindu, Christian and Asian students, she said, adding that the human rights department at the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) trains staff on “who qualifies as an oppressor,” singling out Christians.

But I have to ask why Christian churches have never raised this issue.

They were gathering at the conclusion of last weekend’s Shabbat at the Congregation Emanu-El synagogue in downtown Victoria for an evening reading from the Book of Lamentations and the usual chants and prayers to mark Tisha B’Av, the holiest day of mourning in the Jewish calendar.

It’s a time of fasting and reflection that marks the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem, and the tribulations that followed the Jews down through the ages.

Canada’s envoy for combatting antisemitism Deborah Lyons leaving post early … explains why she was a dud

OTTAWA – Canada’s special official for fighting antisemitism announced on Thursday that she is retiring her post, three months before the end of her term.

… She said her office fought antisemitism “with a vigour and passion not seen in many other countries,” and yet she leaves with concern over Canadians who feel they must pick a side when it comes to defending humanity.

“Support to one community should never mean, or be interpreted as, minimizing another community. Our value of inclusivity has at its core our ability to hold the concerns of multiple communities, in our hearts and minds,” Lyons wrote.

“It was troubling in the last few years to see our lack of patience, lack of tolerance, and inability to reach out across the gulf to one another.”

There you have it. Unable to grasp the fact Islam is a murder cult Lyons wants people to tolerate the intolerant. To their deaths if need be!

In a sea of complicity, acts of individual courage illuminate the darkness. One such moment, seared into my mind and giving me hope each day, is captured in a 1936 photograph of August Landmesser at the Blohm+Voss shipyard, where he alone crossed his arms, refusing to give the Nazi salute. His silent defiance became an enduring symbol of resistance to tyranny.

This is not an argument suited to Canada where for the past decade the public has been silenced by a Liberal government intent on criminalizing dissent to its policies.

The Liberal government has maliciously labeled anyone a racist who spoke out in opposition to its mass immigration policy.

That same Liberal government labeled anyone who spoke out against Islamist predation Islamophobic.

That same lunatic Liberal government labels you a transphobe because you refuse to believe women have penises.

In Canada governments at all levels have embraced DEI and its hate fueled fanatics who label even children as racist oppressors just because they have white skin.

Want a job in the civil service? Forget about it if you’re a White male.

Planning to stand up for your self if you’re “White”? Why you must be a nativist Nazi worse than Hitler!

My readers and I, a happy conglomerate of faiths, have been called all of those things over the years by our so called “elites” and organizations the Liberal government subsidizes.

A few prominent voices have spoken out against the perversity of DEI and its persecution of White people but most stood by in silence.

Was their silence also complicity?

There’s a lot going on today. B’nai Brith has embraced DEI hoping to win a coveted spot on the designated victimhood wall of fame and we just can’t wait to find out who the Villainous Oppressor Colonizers are keeping them down!

One-quarter of Canadians believe antisemitism is a serious problem: poll

One-quarter of Canadians believe that anti-Indigenous racism and antisemitism are very serious problems in Canada, according to a new national poll.

The poll, which was conducted by Leger for the Association for Canadian Studies, was released just weeks after Statistics Canada hate-crime data revealed that antisemitism accounted for about 70 per cent of religiously motivated hate crimes in 2023, despite Jewish people accounting for only about two per cent of the nation’s population. Anti-Indigenous sentiment was present in about three per cent of race-based hate crimes, while Indigenous people account for about five per cent of Canada’s population.

Free speech is not a numbers game

As far as breaches of the peace go, Dominic Cardy’s effort last week looked pretty tame. The former New Brunswick cabinet minister and current independent MLA was in Toronto with his wife when he noticed the ruckus from hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters thronging the city’s Yonge and Dundas intersection.

Mr. Cardy said in an interview that he then decided to exercise his own right to free expression by launching a one-man counterprotest, striding into the crowd and shouting “Free Palestine, from Hamas.”

And for that, he was arrested for breach of the peace by police, handcuffed, jailed for two hours and then released.

We have an antisemitism Czar. Her name is Deb. Deb is concerned at the silence she is hearing. Over the years I attended many pro-Israel protests and it resulted in myself and allies being labeled Islamophobes and racists by members of the Jewish community and other of our so called leaders in government and the press. Some of those accusers made careers virtue signaling their anti-racism and became proponents of DEI and CRT. The White working class was demonized as innately racist and deserving of humiliating re-education efforts.

This demonization was supported by our elites who used it to silence dissent and steamroll the mass immigration of incompatible cultures as they reworked Canada’s demographic into the malevolent multicultural nightmare we find ourselves facing today.

On Oct 7 our accusers were among those who sent out cries for help. Now Deb wonders where everybody is.

The segment I posted yesterday was edited to exclude the reference to the antisemitism of Canada and Europe.

I maintain my belief that the “silence” of previously reliable support noted by the Jewish community stems at least in part from the foolish embrace of racist policies like DEI and CRT by Jewish leadership.

Batya Ungar-Sargon is the first from the Jewish community to speak out about the folly of that choice that I am aware of.

I don’t believe she has a Canadian counterpart but I would love to be introduced to one if such a person exists.

As she notes of America’s leadership I suspect our Swells are wondering why the Trannies and BLM get a spot on the DEI hierarchy of victimhood and they don’t.

It’s a coveted designation as it allows “Open Season On Whitey” without repercussions.

She is not wrong in her assessment of Canada given our streets are daily given over to the Muslim mob and their useful idiots on the left.

How many of you have been labelled “islamophobes” or “racists” or “white supremacists” by the so called “anti-racists”, “Thought leaders” and journalists of the Jewish community and their allies?

Report warns of dramatic rise in antisemitic incidents in Canada in 2023

OTTAWA – Jewish leaders in Canada are warning of a national crisis as the number of hateful incidents targeting Jews doubled in one year.

B’Nai Brith Canada says it documented nearly 5,800 incidents of antisemitism in 2023, including acts of violence, harassment and vandalism.

In 2022 there were fewer than 2,800 such incidents.

There were 77 violent incidents reported in 2023, more than three times the 25 that were recorded in 2022.
