And yet we were promised, years ago, that all of these cover-ups and failings by police, social services, care home staff, politicians, and more had been sorted, that the cracks in the system were all identified and fixed, that lessons had been learnt, and that every female in the care system was now processed dutifully and safely sheltered by every protection agency in the land.

You see for yourself, it’s a festival environment. There’s no violence. It’s happy — moms and dads and kids. Trudeau is claiming they’re dangerous, claiming they’re terrorists so he can seize bank accounts. The most scary thing announced today by the finance minister, who was on the World Economic Forum board, is that banks will be directed to seize your accounts without due process and you can’t even sue them. They’re indemnified. He is going after his political opponents to seize their resources Venezuela style.”

So, in two weeks, arenas, bars, restaurants, and gyms can admit people in Canada’s most populous province without checking for a COVID card. Capacity restrictions soon loosen, but Ford put off lifting the indoor mask requirement for at least another month.
