Black Market Religions: “Secularization is a religious process rather than an irreligious.”

Recently Utah Senator John Curtis in the Wall Street Journal wrote about a survey he conducted after the murder of Charlie Kirk: “Among the hundreds of messages that poured in, an alarming cohort spoke to the vicious cycle of online hatred they see and the isolation they feel on social media.”

These sermons of hate are delivered not by a preacher in a pulpit from which he addresses a congregation seated in pews, a community of other human beings sharing their spiritual humanity and beliefs; but by online apps and algorithms that spellbind isolated strangers with wounded souls who face inhuman screens throbbing with extremism and hate.

Jamie Sarkonak: Foreign criminals keep getting their deportations cancelled

When he was about 22, a Jamaican national and Canadian permanent resident impregnated his 13-year-old stepsister. She said he forced himself onto her, he said he didn’t remember; you be the judge. She had a child. This happened in 2007, and in 2008 he was convicted of sexual interference and sentenced to five-and-a-half months.

An artist made an ‘anti-racist’ version of the UK flag. You’ll never guess what happened next

Few things do more to lift the spirits than the sight of the 21st-century Left eating itself. Which is why I invite you to enjoy the following sumptuous story, from the website Brighton and Hove News.

A local library, it reports, was due to host an “anti-racist” exhibition, featuring a “reimagined” Union flag made by a mixed-race son of immigrants. The flag is covered in images of small boats, and was made using “textiles from the UK’s diverse communities”. The council, however, has now decided to cancel it. Why?

Believe it or not, it’s because it could have “inadvertently upset minority groups”.

French Intelligence Warns of Rising Islamist Threat to Christians

Church Arson France – Parish of St. Paul in Corbeil-Essonnes

A leaked DGSI report links a surge in attacks across Europe to decades of jihadist propaganda targeting churches and worshippers.

France’s domestic intelligence service has warned of a growing threat to Christian communities, according to a confidential report obtained by Le Figaro that links recent attacks in Europe to decades of jihadist propaganda.

The warning comes in the wake of the September 10th attack in Lyon on Ashur Sarnaya, an Iraqi Christian man in a wheelchair, which investigators say reflects a persistent jihadist obsession with targeting Christians.

The Star has learned that the name the driver gave to police is Athena Niggenaber, a Scarborough resident.

A raise and a bigger tractor.

The U.K. Is Poised to Do Away With This Cornerstone of Western Jurisprudence

The right to be judged by a jury of one’s peers has long been a cornerstone of Western jurisprudence. It bars the government — the same government accusing you of a crime — from having total control by putting average citizens between the defendant and the state. It protects against authoritarian overreach and brings common sense and a reflection of community standards to the judicial process.

Why Canadian bosses love hiring foreign workers

Douglas Todd: Low-skill guest workers toil longer hours, with fewer absences, for less pay than Canadian domestic workers, which means wages go down for everyone, says a peer-reviewed study.

Rarely a week goes by without a small or large Canadian company declaring how desperate it is to hire foreign guest workers.

The country’s “labour shortage” is brutal, they say. Business survival is impossible without willing workers from offshore, complain the owners of hotels, fast-food restaurants, security firms, supermarket chains and construction companies.

Fact: Canada’s corporate class was given license by the Liberal government to flood the nation with cheap foreign labour.

They did so without care or concern that they were destroying your economic and social well being and that of your children.

All to satisfy their greed but Elbows Up eh?

Canadians are protecting the mirage of single-tier health care. It doesn’t exist

Canadian health care as an idea, and Canadian health care as an institution, exist in two different universes.

Notionally, health care in Canada is single-payer, universal and egalitarian. No one can jump the line. No one can buy better or faster care. Everyone has reasonably timely access to primary and specialist care, and critical issues are treated as true medical emergencies.

How Sweden’s Demographic Winter Turned It Into Europe’s Rape Capital

Idiots like this should be jailed.

How decades of declining birthrates, rapid migration, and cultural misalignment helped transform one of the world’s safest societies into the West’s epicenter of sexual violence.

Sweden has spent the past month debating a court ruling that has unsettled even a nation accustomed to difficult conversations about immigration. In October 2025, the Court of Appeal for Upper Norrland upheld the conviction of Yazied Mohamed, an eighteen-year-old Eritrean refugee who raped 16-year-old Meya Åberg in a pedestrian underpass. The details were clear, the evidence immediate, the conviction uncontested. What stunned the country — and was reported across Aftonbladet, Expressen, SVT, and internationally by GB News — was the court’s conclusion that Mohamed could not be deported. The rape, the judges wrote, “did not last long enough” to qualify as “exceptionally serious,” the threshold required to override his protected refugee status.

It’s Not “Racist” to Notice Somali Fraud

Last week, my colleague Ryan Thorpe and I broke a story about widespread fraud committed by Somalis in Minnesota. Members of the state’s Somali community allegedly participated in complex schemes related to autism services, food programs, and housing, which prosecutors estimate have stolen billions of taxpayer dollars. Even worse, some of the cash has ended up in the hands of Al-Shabaab, a terrorist organization in Somalia.

Can Canada wait out the trade war with the US?

Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney appears in no rush to resume trade talks with the US.

He dismissed a question over the weekend about when he last spoke to US President Donald Trump, responding: “Who cares? It’s a detail. I’ll speak to him again when it matters.”

Carney added that, in his view, there is no “burning issue” to raise with his US counterpart.

The prime minister has faced criticism for his apparent lack of urgency, which raises the question about whether Canada is shifting its approach to trade talks with the US.
