Burn in Hell, Joanne Chesimard

Three Democrats out of the 58 who actively voted against the Charlie Kirk resolution in the House of Representatives earlier this month have popped off with hagiographic statements about Joanne Chesimard, the unrepentant cop killer and one-woman crime wave who fled to Cuba rather than face justice for her crimes.

Chesimard, who called herself Assata Shakur for some reason, was 78.

‘Struggle meals’ and Hamburger Helper are trending because food is so expensive

Now I want to try this!

Hamburger helper. Instant ramen. Tuna noodle casserole.

We’re in the midst of a dinner throwback era, but unlike wide-legged jeans and the resurgence of DVDs, this trend has nothing do with nostalgia.

So-called “struggle meals” are trending right now as consumers grapple with the high price of food and seek affordable meal options. It’s a new term for an old solution — struggle meals are inexpensive and simple, often made from cheap items or what might already be in your pantry.

AI Actress Tilly Norwood Debuts at Zurich Summit as Industry Grapples With Emerging Tech: We Want Her ‘to Be the Next Scarlett Johansson’

AI actress Tilly Norwood has attracted the attention of multiple talent agents, actor, comedian and producer Eline Van der Velden told a panel at the Zurich Summit, the industry strand of the Zurich Film Festival.

Tilly Norwood is the first creation to emerge from recently launched AI talent studio Xicoia, a spin-off from Van der Velden’s AI production studio Particle6.

My theory: Trump declared tariffs on “foreign made” films to protect the old school industry until AI Film is able to stand on its own against all comers and Hollywood has reinvented itself into the King of AI.

‘So consequential’: Ottawa faces lawsuit over benefit shoppers rights to access immigration lawyers

‘So consequential’: Ottawa faces lawsuit over newcomers’ rights to access immigration lawyers

A lawyers’ group says it is suing the federal government in a bid to boost legal protections for newcomers in “high-stakes” immigration and refugee cases.

The Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association (CILA) wants to force three federal departments to recognize the right for newcomers to have access to their lawyers in all stages of the visa application process. The non-profit organization named Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, and Employment and Social Development Canada as defendants in Federal Court documents.

Refugees in Four-Star Hotels as Germany’s Bill Hits €193 Million

Germany’s largest cities are shelling out hundreds of millions of euros on housing thousands of refugees in hotels, as local authorities struggle to cope with a lack of social housing and emergency shelters. Despite a decline in the overall number of asylum applications, the inflow of Ukrainian refugees entitled to initial accommodation has left city administrations with little choice but to turn to the private sector.

According to Bild, Germany’s ten largest cities—plus Essen, Dresden, Potsdam, Hanover, Chemnitz, and Rostock—reported that 11,809 refugees were living in hotels and guesthouses at the end of June. The cost in the first half of 2025 alone amounted to more than €193 million.

Even Rosie O’Donnell’s Therapist Thinks She’s Nuts Over Trump

One Donald Trump accomplishment that often goes overlooked is getting Rosie O’Donnell and other unhinged Hollywood has-beens to leave the country. So let’s give credit where credit is due. Of course, even though O’Donnell is no longer stateside, she still desperately clings to relevancy by complaining about President Trump to anyone who will listen.

Trump again floats Canada joining the U.S. as the 51st state

U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday he again told some unnamed Canadian official that the country should consider joining the U.S. as the 51st state — returning to the annexationist rhetoric he used earlier in the year and subsequently dropped after Prime Minister Mark Carney was elected.

Speaking to senior military officials at an event in Virginia, Trump said the U.S. is developing the Golden Dome missile defence system and Canada could be covered by it if the country becomes part of the States.

“Canada called me a couple of weeks ago. They want to be part of it. To which I said, well, why don’t you just join our country? Become 51, become the 51st state and you get it for free,” Trump said.

Canada has been deliberately weakened from within.

The immigration flood of incompatible cultures, criminalization of dissent, the denigration of our culture, heritage and values have all been done for a reason.

Our elites seek to rape Canada for their gain and their divide and conquer strategy is working to plan.

Hegseth declares an end to ‘politically correct’ leadership in the US military

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has slammed “fat generals” and diversity initiatives that he says has led to decades of decay in the military.

Mr Hegseth made the comments at a rare gathering of commanders on Tuesday, local time.

“Foolish and reckless political leaders set the wrong compass heading and we lost our way,” Mr Hegseth said as he kicked off the event in Quantico, Virginia.

“We became the ‘Woke Department’. But not anymore.”

The Canadian Armed Forces is a shrinking tribe

With only roughly one in 684 Canadians serving in the regular forces, thinking that the country could mount any meaningful deployment to either Ukraine or Gaza on short notice is reckless.

OTTAWA—Last week, at the United Nations General Assembly, Prime Minister Mark Carney spoke at a conference about peace in Palestine and a two-state solution where he discussed Palestinian statehood.

It was not a surprise that Carney would commit Canada to help implement a two-state solution; however, it was a bit of a shocker that Carney would pledge the use of Canadian troops to help enforce such an agreement.
