The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is banning a celebrated series of fifth-grade musical plays about American history at a local charter school because, the district says, they are “culturally insensitive.”

For nearly three decades, the fifth-graders at Marquez Charter Elementary in Pacific Palisades have performed musicals about crucial periods in the formation of the United States.

The more ‘Culturally Insensitive‘ the better I always say.

Navy commander says Canada could end up with subs from two different suppliers

OTTAWA – Vice-Admiral Angus Topshee says the Royal Canadian Navy could end up with submarines supplied by both companies vying for Ottawa’s lucrative sub procurement contract — and there could be advantages to diversifying the fleet.

Topshee also says the simplest solution would be to operate 12 submarines from just one supplier, which would ensure all the parts and weapons systems are the same.

Topshee did not express a preference either way in a recent interview with The Canadian Press, saying it’s ultimately up to the federal government to decide.

12 subs? I’ll believe it when I see it.

UPDATE – Canada won’t split its submarine contract between suppliers: Carney

Kamala Harris, Like The Rest Of Democrats, Remains Steeped In Anti-American Hate

If you look at the Google News alerts for Kamala Harris’ first national TV book tour interview from less than 24 hours ago, you’ll see the only thing of note to come out of it is that she sort of endorsed Democrat mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani. Barely.

The interview with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, of all people, proved Kamala is still the same person she’s always been, which is to say vapid, visionless, and still faking an interest in governing. Nothing has changed, and neither has her party.

Betrayal of their flock: A Bishop’s rebuke to Anglican hierarchy who denounce Christians marching with Tommy Robinson

I WAS there. I stood at the front of the recent Unite the Kingdom event in London, and I led the prayers from the stage. I saw ordinary men and women – fathers carrying their children, pensioners gripping their sticks, young men and women lifting their voices – gathered not in hatred but in hope, not in rage but in resolve. I saw the cross of Christ raised aloft, not as a weapon of division but as a banner of faith.
