Britain is at war with freedom, Farage tells US

Nigel Farage said Britain was at “war with freedom” as he prepared to testify in US Congress over limits to free speech.

The Reform UK leader is at a hearing this morning in Washington, raising concerns about British restrictions on freedom of speech in the US.

Mr Farage has raised the case Graham Linehan, the Father Ted creator, who was arrested by five armed officers over posts he made on X about transgender people. Mr Farage earlier described Linehan’s arrest as a “war on freedom”.

WARMINGTON: Top cop wants public to ‘comply’ with thugs during home invasions

Just “hide and comply” and maybe the armed intruders invading your house will not hurt you or your family.

That’s York Regional Police Chief Jim MacSween’s recommendation to the public following the gutless murder of 46-year-old dad, Abdul Aleem Farooqi.

Is it routine for the police to arrive during a home invasion or other types of criminal assault?

Or is this another instance of “We’re the OPP trust us.”

I believe it makes sense to comply until it doesn’t and it’s your call when it “doesn’t”.

The state places its monopoly on violence above your life. We’re just collateral damage.

Hot mic catches Putin and Xi discussing organ transplants at parade

A “hot mic” following the Chinese, Russian and North Korean leaders in Beijing recorded President Putin discussing one of his favourite topics: the possibility of organ transplants delaying ageing and death.

As Putin, President Xi and Kim Jong-un approached the rostrum overlooking Tiananmen Square for the military parade, Putin’s translator could be heard raising the latest medical advances.

“Biotechnology is continuously developing,” he said. There was then a further bit of conversation that was inaudible, before the translator concluded: “Human organs can be continuously transplanted. The longer you live, the younger you become, and [you can] even achieve immortality.”

Netherlands Weighs Pepper Spray After Migrant Murder of Teen

The Dutch justice minister is considering lifting the country’s decades-old ban on pepper spray after the murder of a 17-year-old girl by an asylum seeker ignited public anger over immigration and the government’s failure to protect its citizens.

Justice Minister David van Weel told parliament he is exploring whether civilians, particularly women, should be allowed to carry pepper spray for self-defence. The small canisters, which temporarily disable attackers, are currently classed as prohibited weapons under Dutch law. Possession can result in hefty fines or even a criminal record.

Chris Selley: The Order of Canada provides far more division than unity

It is hardly surprising, in the year 2025, to see a public figure strung up — figuratively, thank goodness — for something he didn’t quite say or mean. If cinema is “a machine that creates empathy,” as critic Roger Ebert once said, then social media is something like the opposite: a machine for grinding people into the radioactive dust of their own presumed worst intentions.

Conservatives to name and shame companies using TFW’s

Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre confirmed his party’s intention to put pressure on companies using siginficant amount of TFW’s by “naming and shaming” them.

Speaking to reporters in Mississauga ON. on Wednesday, Poilievre and Shadow Immigration Minister Michelle Rempel Garner reiterated their opposition to the Temporary Foreign Worker program, stating that companies relying on the system prioritize corporate profits over Canadian jobs.

Democrats Refusing Trump’s Help Prove Blue City Lawlessness Is A Choice

Lookin good for looting season

More than 50 people were shot in Chicago this past weekend — 8 of whom were killed. Instead of addressing the bloodshed, Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson spent his time telling residents to be ready to “defend this land” from the National Guard, anticipating President Donald Trump may deploy the National Guard to crack down on rampant crime in the Windy City.

Trump Won’t Let Pinko Jerks Who Hate America Define American History

President Trump was already scaring the hell out of the leftists, but they’re absolutely terrified now that he’s taking aim at their control of the institutions that manage our history; the skinsuit is coming off, and the castrated commie emperorhas been exposed as having no clothes. They hate America, and they hate our history, and they want to twist it into a garotte to strangle our patriotism. No thanks. Our history is our history, not theirs, and from here on in, we’re going to tell our story, not them.

Unmarked graves stories in Canada lack hard evidence

In May 2021, the Kamloops First Nation announced the discovery of 215 burial sites near a former residential school—a claim that sparked global headlines about “mass graves” and left Ottawa’s flag at half mast for five months.

We now know this was a mistake. A group of researchers, myself included, published Grave Error, laying out the reasons for skepticism. The ground-penetrating radar (GPR) results had almost certainly been misread, confusing thousands of feet of buried weeping tile in the orchard with human burials.

Are AWFLs (Affluent White Female Liberals) a product of Big Pharm?

AWFL is a new acronym for Affluent White Female Liberals or, as I think of it, Angry White Female Leftists. These are the women who have become the hysterically screaming front lines of every leftist protest, the passionate devotees of Kamala Harris, and the growing cohort of angry, man-hating, hard-left cat ladies. Matt Walsh contends that many are the product of Big Pharma, specifically, the Pill. I think he’s right.

Now Australia is erupting over mass immigration

Australia’s most popular radio host, 2GB’s Ben Fordham, told his listeners last week that more than 1,544 migrants were arriving in the country every day. ‘That is the equivalent of five, fully-loaded Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Day after day, week after week’, he said dramatically. Fordham’s depiction may have been hyperbolic. But he expressed a widely felt grievance in Australia. Immigration has increased significantly recently, and no voter has been asked if they wanted this or not.

Jamie Sarkonak: Poilievre’s self-defence plan doesn’t go far enough

On Friday, Pierre Poilievre said he would change Canada’s self-defence laws so that “the use of force, including lethal force, is presumed reasonable against an individual who unlawfully enters a house and poses a threat to the safety of anyone inside.” It’s a reform that would nudge the needle to favour victims, but it probably wouldn’t change much.

Right now, the law of self-defence in Canada will absolve self-defenders who reasonably believe that force or the threat of force is being made against them, and who take defensive action that is found to be “reasonable in the circumstances.” This would include break-in victims.
