Small boat crossings to hit 50,000 since Labour came to power

Doctors and scientists galore!

The number of migrants to cross the English Channel in small boats since Labour came to power last summer is expected to have reached 50,000.

Home Office data shows 49,797 people had made the journey as of Sunday, with Monday’s total due to be released later.

Government minister Baroness Smith told the BBC this was an “unacceptable number of people” but pointed to the “one in, one out” returns deal with France as a deterrent.

But the Conservative Party said the migrant crossing totals showed Labour had “surrendered our borders”.

Labour like our Liberal party doesn’t want to stop the flow of 3rd world invaders.

Ghislaine Maxwell files will not be released despite Trump order

Ghislaine Maxwell’s grand jury transcripts will not be released, a federal judge has ruled, saying the Trump administration’s request to do so is a “diversion”.

Paul Engelmayer, a Manhattan District Court judge, suggested the Department of Justice (DOJ) had requested the transcripts be released to create the “illusion” of transparency.

The judge said the files would not reveal any new information, adding that they “do not discuss or identify any client of Epstein’s or Maxwell’s”.

Christopher Dummitt: Judge brought politics through the back door in Toronto bike lane case

I had a bike just like this…

The recent decision by the Ontario Superior Court rendering the removal of Toronto’s bike lanes unconstitutional recalls the great Dr. Seuss book Oh, The Thinks You Can Think. Just think how we could change Canada if we take the logic of this ruling and keep going.

Oh, the thinks we could think.

Bravo star Jennifer Welch slammed for suggesting Trump voters should be banned from Mexican, Chinese, Indian restaurants

Former Bravo star Jennifer Welch wildly called for President Trump supporters to be banned from all Mexican, Chinese and Indian restaurants in the US — saying they should get their “fat asses over to Cracker Barrel” instead.

In a profanity-laden meltdown on her “I’ve Had It” podcast, the mom-of-two unleashed on white voters who agree with Trump’s border policies but still want to frequent restaurants run by immigrants.

WARMINGTON: Hamilton mayor’s claims of hate stomp on right to free speech

Andrea Horwath’s Hate Crime is supporting the mutilation of children.
Canada has become a place where a mayor can arbitrarily decide freedom of speech is not only “hate” but “transphobic.”

In this case, Hamilton’s mayor has “directed” that a billboard with a message discussing gender and children be immediately removed.

Andrea is a sick minded bozo.

Quebec Professor Takes Aim at DEI Criteria in Federal Research Funding

An associate professor in Quebec is raising concerns to members of Parliament about the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) criteria used to determine who qualifies for research funding.

In a submission to the Commons science committee, Maryse Beaumier of the University of Quebec in Rimouski told MPs that DEI practices in federal research funding agencies are compromising funding decisions, which are being influenced by “criteria unrelated to science, excellence, and merit.”

Trump Takes Control Of DC Police To Restore Safety, Pride, and Beauty To Nation’s Capital

President Donald Trump announced on Monday that his administration is taking back control of Washington, D.C., by returning policing control to federal control after decades of city government failure.

Trump signed an executive order invoking Section 740 of the District of Columbia Self-Government and Governmental Reorganization Act, which allows his administration to take control of D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department. Along with invoking Section 740, he declared a pubic safety emergency in the nation’s capital. He also signed a memorandum to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth directing him to mobilize the D.C. National Guard to help clean up crime in the city.

Carney’s can-do government is way behind on foreign registry

In January, Justice Marie-Josée Hogue’s public inquiry on foreign interference recommended that politicians check to see whether the people they meet are listed on the foreign-agent registry.

Good idea. But there’s a hitch: There is still no registry.

And there won’t be one before the end of 2025.

A foreign agent registry will interfere with the grift.

Stop Importing People and Start Exporting an Idea

In nature, systems operate in dynamic equilibrium. There is a flow and balance, a yin and yang to all parts. We see the same process in the evolution of societies as the wonders of modernity flow throughout the civilization.

What does this have to do with immigration? Everything. With modernity the old immigration thinking based on only more and more bodies is in direct conflict with present physical and technological reality.

Trump on Canadian Tariffs and Carney’s Policy Toward ‘Palestine’

President Donald Trump has just made clear that there will be consequences for those countries that now propose to recognize a “Palestinian” state. He has said that it will be difficult to make a deal on reducing tariffs on Canadian goods after Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Canada would at the UN General Assembly meeting in September announce its support for a “Palestinian” state.

It wasn’t Trump who trashed gay rights – it was the trans lobby

Russell T Davies, TV writer, famed homosexual and the smuggest of luvvies, has hit out at Donald Trump. Apparently the evil oaf in the White House is trashing gay rights. He ‘is literally out to get us’, Davies says, conjuring up an image of The Donald lurking around gay bars with a baseball bat. Apparently, Trump wants gay folk ‘gone, defunded, completely invisible’ and ideally ‘biologically altered to become as straight as him’. The funniest thing about this rant is not its fact-lite delirium but its gall. For everything Davies accuses Trump of doing to gays is actually being done by a movement Davies himself supports – the trans lobby.

Jamie Sarkonak: This is what reconciliation looks like — the end of property right

Indian Money Dance

On Thursday, a B.C. superior court judge gave at least half a billion dollars’ worth of government land in an 800-acre zone in southeast Richmond to the Cowichan First Nation, and lit a fuse that could lead to the obliteration of private landowners’ legal title in the area.

This case of “land back” in action (Cowichan Tribes v. Canada) casts a shadow over the country’s property system. It jeopardizes the default means of owning land in Canada — the estate in fee simple, where owners have exclusive rights to sell land — wherever Aboriginal title is found to exist.
