Touting the benefits of the US transition from gas-powered cars to electric vehicles at a meeting with the Mexican president, US climate envoy John Kerry said the move would boost the Latin American country’s auto industry.
Kerry, US President Joe Biden’s special climate envoy, has argued that Mexico would profit if Biden accomplishes his far-reaching goal to phase out gasoline-powered vehicles.
