
OTTAWA — When the Israel-Hamas war hit the 100-day mark, a group of Canadian MPs and organizations had just embarked on a trip to Jordan and the West Bank with one goal in mind: to bear witness to the ripples of the conflict, and to tell Ottawa what they had seen.
Now, five MPs — two Liberals and three New Democrats — are wrapping up a weeklong visit to the Middle East that included meetings with Palestinians in refugee camps and Israeli settlements, Canadian diplomatic representatives, United Nations agencies and progressive Israeli organizations.
