On Feb. 22, the Lake Report, a local newspaper in Ontario, published an article on the importance of viewpoint diversity in public libraries in the United States and Canada. The author was Cathy Simpson, the CEO of Niagara-on-the-Lake’s public library, who had been in the role for over a decade.
