An anonymous user on Reddit captured footage of a mystifying ‘bright orange light’ flying relatively low as it traveled over Fort Campbell – a military base along the Tennessee-Kentucky border – on New Year’s Day.
The user, who witnessed the perplexing ‘celestial’ event alongside their father, who is a seasoned Army veteran, said that they ‘couldn’t explain’ what they were seeing in the skies above.
