Greta Thunberg’s Gaza flotilla mocked by Lindsey Graham

A Republican senator has been criticised for mocking the climate activist Greta Thunberg after she and others set sail with aid to Gaza.

“Hope Greta and her friends can swim!” Lindsey Graham wrote in a message on X. The post, which accompanied a news report on the flotilla departing from the port of Catania, Sicily, with “symbolic aid” for Gaza, was condemned by social media users and activists. Liam Cunningham, who played Davos Seaworth in Game of Thrones, is also on board.

Smith says push for oil pipeline not just an ‘ideological argument,’ as premiers, Carney meet

SASKATOON, Sask. — Pushing for an oil pipeline to be on the first list of major projects to be fast-tracked by the federal government is about more than mounting “just an ideological argument,” Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said at the opening of a meeting between premiers and the prime minister on Monday.

Speaking to reporters on her way into the First Ministers’ Meeting in Saskatoon, Smith expressed hope other premiers would rally around her desire to see a pipeline built carrying Alberta bitumen to the coast of British Columbia.

Islamists Recruit At-Risk Children From French Emergency Shelters

Amid a rise in militant Muslim fundamentalism, French facilities for vulnerable children appear to be deliberately targeted by Islamist recruiters, who see them as perfect candidates for radicalisation.

This concern comes after reports highlighting other numerous shortcomings of the child welfare services: children are abused, addicted to drugs, or involved in prostitution rings.

MORGAN: Why should Alberta stay?

Westerners saw it coming but Canada was shocked when support for provincial independence exploded, after Eastern Canada chose to reward the Liberals with a larger government in the general election.

At first, federalists dismissed the provincial sovereignty movement as a fringe minority of loud cranks. They were confident it was little more than a collection of vocal malcontents on social media and there was little of substance to the movement.

Boulder Attack Shows Why Trump Is Right To Revoke Visas For Anti-American Views

Dearborn Michigan

On Sunday, a suspected radical illegal alien from Egypt allegedly burned several peaceful demonstrators in Boulder, Colorado, while shouting, “Free Palestine.”

The suspect, 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, entered the United States under the Biden administration but overstayed his visa, Fox News reported. Soliman was supposed to leave the country on Feb. 2, 2023, but the Biden administration granted him a work permit that lasted until March 2025, according to the report.

The wokest military on earth

One of the stated goals of the Carney government is to rejigger Canada’s various military relationships. After decades of reflexively going along with the United States on defence issues, the Liberals are signalling a plan to make nice with Europe.

This week’s speech from the throne stated that Canada will be joining “ReArm Europe,” a massive planned buildup of the continent’s military strength, largely as a check against Russia.

But as Canada strikes out to make new friends, these new allies may encounter a Canadian military that is slightly different than what they remember. Even for Western militaries that have embraced nostrums of equity and inclusion, in many ways Canada has gone further than all of them.

WSJ Warns: Alienating ‘Intellectuals’ Will Create Violent Revolutionaries

Sorry, but in MAGA America we don’t negotiate with subversives and terrorists.

Remember when The Wall Street Journal generally held respectably conservative opinions? Good times. But a recent opinion piece – “The Alienated ‘Knowledge Class’ Could Turn Violent” – betrays a curiously Left-wing argument that smells suspiciously of blackmail.

The article’s fear-mongering teaser line reads, “Societies that exile their intellectuals risk turning them into revolutionaries. It happened in the 1970s.” Jukka Savolainen, a professor of sociology at Wayne State University, begins his piece by noting that violent Left-wing radicals of the ‘70s such as the Weather Underground in the U.S., West Germany’s Red Army Faction, and Italy’s Red Brigades were composed largely not of “the oppressed proletariat of Marxist theory, but the disillusioned children of privilege and university lecture halls.” He writes that the radicalization of such academic domestic terrorists (my label, not his) as Barack Obama mentor Bill Ayers and his literal partner-in-crime Bernardine Dohrn “stemmed not from poverty but from moral outrage and estrangement from institutional power.”

TV commercials are making me uncomfortable in my easy chair

It’s baaaaaaccccckkkkk! What am I talking about? Woke Subliminal advertising keeps trying to socially engineer the land of the free and the home of the unsuspecting (brave). What is subliminal advertising?

According to Google’s AI, subliminal advertising is a technique where marketers use visual or auditory stimuli that are below the conscious threshold of perception to influence consumer behavior. It’s designed to subtly affect attitudes and desires without the consumer being aware they’re being manipulated.

Do Patients Without a Terminal Illness Have the Right to Die?

Paula Ritchie wasn’t dying, but under Canada’s new rules, she qualified for a medically assisted death. Was that kindness or cruelty?

One of the doctors wanted to know why, despite everything, Paula Ritchie was still alive. “I’m just curious,” she said. “What has kept you from attempting suicide since August of 2023?”

“I’m not very good at it,” Paula said. “Obviously.” Then she started to cry. She said that everything was getting worse. She said she didn’t want to suffer anymore. “This is a more dignified way to go than suicide.”

Paula was lying in the big bed that she had pulled into the center of the living room, facing an old TV and a window that looked out on a row of garbage bins. The room’s brown linoleum floors were stained, and its walls were mostly unadorned. On a bookshelf, there was a small figurine of an angel, her arm raised in offering. At 52, Paula had a pale, unblemished face and a tangle of dark hair that fell around her waist. The day before the appointment, in January this year, she washed her hair for the first time in weeks, but then she was not able to lift herself out of the bathtub. When, after hours, she managed to get out, her pain and dizziness was so bad that she had to crawl across the floor.

MSNBC host blasted for calling illegal alien Boulder terror suspect a ‘white male’

Frequent MSNBC contributor Tom Winter is facing backlash after branding the suspect of Sunday’s Colorado terror attack ‘a white male’.

The misrepresentation, offered on MSNBC’s The Weekend Primetime, appeared to ignore Egyptian national Mohamed Sabry Soliman’s actual origins as an illegal alien.

The FBI had already confirmed the nature of the ‘targeted’ terror attack when NBC National Security and Justice Correspondent Winter made the characterization, but it came shortly before Soliman was publicly identified.

Trump breaks curious day-long silence on Colorado terror firebombing after being called out by his top political rival

Donald Trump condemned the horrendous terrorist attack in Colorado where six pro-Israel demonstrators were set on fire by an undocumented alien.

The president broke his silence Monday afternoon in a post to Truth Social where he placed the blame on his predecessor.

‘Yesterday’s horrific attack in Boulder, Colorado, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED in the United States of America,’ Trump wrote.

Civil War Comes to the West, Part II: Strategic Realities

This is the second of two articles on the dawning of an uncomfortable new strategic reality for the West, which is that the primary threat to its security and well-being today is not external but internal—specifically, civil war.[i] In the first essay, I explained the reasons that this situation has arisen: a combination of culturally fractured societies, economic stagnation, elite overreach and a collapse of public confidence in the ability of normal politics to solve problems, and ultimately the realisation by anti-status quo groups of plausible strategies of attack based on systems disruption of vulnerable critical infrastructure. In this article I expound on the likely shape that civil war will take and the strategies that might be employed to minimise and mitigate the damage that will entail.

Bell: Survey on explicit sex in Alberta school library books hits huge numbers

The numbers are big. Real big. So they should be.

By noon this past Saturday, there were 173,650 responses to an Alberta government survey resulting from the shocking discovery of books involving sex in graphic detail in school libraries, including elementary schools.

That’s closing in on DOUBLE the traffic for a survey on an Alberta pension plan and the numbers just keep going up.
