Canadian poll finds that racial minorities don’t believe drug enforcement is bigoted.

The Left Thinks Drug Criminalization Is Racist. Minorities Disagree

Is drug prohibition racist? Many left-wing institutions seem to think so. But their argument is historically illiterate—and it contradicts recent polling data, too, which show that minorities overwhelmingly reject that view.

Policies and laws are tools to establish order. Like any tool, they can be abused. The first drug laws in North America, dating back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, arguably fixated on opium as a legal pretext to harass Asian immigrants, for example. But no reasonable person would argue that laws against home invasion, murder, or theft are “racist” because they have been misapplied in past cases. Absent supporting evidence, leaping from “this tool is sometimes used in racist ways” to “this tool is essentially racist” is kindergarten-level reasoning.

Poll: college-educated women end friendships over politics

New polling data shows what you may already suspect: your experience of losing friends since the 2024 election of Donald Trump is absolutely real – if very divided depending on your political tribe.

When national pollster Cygnal offered me the opportunity to suggest a question or two for their latest national survey, it was a chance to put to the test the experience of many Americans I know: in the past six months, they’ve lost at least one friend over the result of the 2024 election. The direction of lost friends seemed very politically consistent in my experience, but anecdotes aren’t data, and knowing more people on the right than the left, it’s possible this personal experience was skewed.

Trump’s secret hostage deal exposes rift with Netanyahu

Benjamin Netanyahu’s announcement last week of a massive military escalation in Gaza dominated all attention in Israel.

But while politicians and the media picked over his plan to wreak final destruction on Hamas, he had only the vaguest notion that his closest ally, Donald Trump, was in the final stages of a deal with the terrorist group.

Mr Trump’s envoys had gone behind Mr Netanyahu’s back to negotiate the release of Edan Alexander, the 21-year-old hostage.

Toronto has greater priorities than a woke name change

There is no better indication of a government’s true priorities than its budget and how it spends its money. Secondary to that are the issues it chooses to spend its time on.

This is why the agenda for the Toronto city council board for the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is so concerning.

These useless parasites need to be removed from office.

Genocide in Syria: Jihadists Massacre Druze, Christians, ‘Infidels’

Ever since the terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) conquered the Syrian capital Damascus with Turkey’s help in December of 2024, HTS fighters and their affiliated militias — often offshoots of ISIS and al-Qaeda — have been massacring religious minorities throughout the country. The internet has been flooded with images — some discredited as old or manipulated, but many not — of Alawite men, women and children being barbarically shot at close range.

Is this is why we have MAID?

Canada facing high youth suicide rates, child mortality, new report finds

Progress to improve child and youth well-being in Canada is lagging compared to other high-income countries, according to a new UNICEF report.

It ranks Canada closer to the bottom than the top of the list when it comes to adolescent suicide rates, child mortality and competence in social skills.

“All orders of government in Canada have an opportunity to concretely address the downward trends we see in this Report Card — and frankly, an obligation to,” Sevaun Palvetzian, president and CEO of UNICEF Canada, said in a statement to the Star.

Liberal governments will do that to ya.

‘Four-day sex parties became my full-time job,’ Diddy’s ex tells sex-trafficking trial

Sean “Diddy” Combs forced his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura into four-day drug-fuelled “freak-off” sex parties that consumed her life like a full-time job, a court heard.

Combs and Ventura, who were in a relationship for more than a decade, came face-to-face for the first time in more than six years on Tuesday when she took the stand in the rapper’s criminal trial.

Ventura, 38, claimed she would need days to recover from the toll of taking narcotics to stay awake for days on end having sex with strangers as her boyfriend at the time watched.

Expert Highlights Illegal Alien Gang’s Threat to Rural Americans

A South American gang with many illegal alien members that cropped up to rival the infamous Tren de Aragua is victimizing vulnerable rural Americans, warns crime expert Robert Charles.

“I’ve read some of the public accounts that suggest that this offshoot group is trying to distinguish itself by being more violent,” Charles, who was formerly an assistant secretary of state at the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, said of Anti-Tren. With the recent charges against almost 20 accused members of the gang by the Trump Justice Department, the new threat has garnered more attention, Western Journal explained.

GOLDBERG: Champagne fails up as Canada’s new finance minister

Franky Champagne

On the same day Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed that François-Philippe Champagne was his permanent choice for finance minister, news broke showing precisely why he’s the wrong man for the job.

Champagne was the man who captained former prime minister Justin Trudeau’s electric vehicle (EV) crusade. He teamed up with the government of Ontario to give over $50 billion of taxpayer cash to the EV industry to try to get electric cars and factories built in Canada.

Cannes: Robert De Niro Attacks Trump as ‘America’s Philistine President‘

A

Robert De Niro used his appearance before the fawning, gilded elites at the 78th Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday to sneer at President Donald Trump as “America’s philistine president.”

De Niro would impoverish domestic film crews rather than acknowledge Trump’s effort to restore Hollywood makes sense.

De Niro and Carney should introduce their tranny kids to one another, then they can all TDS together.

After his defeat, Pierre Poilievre finally has to go places he’s been avoiding

As the dust settled on election night, things immediately got off on the wrong foot for the defeated Conservative Party.

Older voters had instructed Tory candidates that they wanted to see a “more conciliatory tone,” according to Calgary Centre MP Greg McLean, yet Bowmanville–Oshawa North MP Jamil Jivani weaponized what should have been a perfunctory election-night interview to settle personal scores with Ontario Premier Doug Ford. It’s true that certain provincial leadership teams haven’t had a constructive past couple of years with their federal cousins, but no future votes will be gained airing that dirty laundry in public.
