A militant Zionist group threatens activists online with a ‘deport list’

Almost six weeks before federal immigration officials detained Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil, a group called Betar US said on its X account that it had put the pro-Palestinian activist on “our deport list.”

“It’s 10 p.m. and ICE is aware of his home address and whereabouts,” the group posted on Jan. 29 under a video of CNN interviewing Khalil at a campus protest, referring to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. “We have provided all his information to multiple contacts.”

And the Anti-Zionists aren’t “Militant”? It isn’t as if the Left hasn’t used this or similar tactics to silence opposition.

American invasion of Canada would spark decades-long insurgency, expert predicts

CAF Transgender Tank

HALIFAX – If U.S. President Donald Trump fails in his stated goal of annexing Canada through economic force, what would happen if he ordered the world’s most powerful military to invade?

Some experts and academics say it’s a notion too preposterous to even contemplate. But Aisha Ahmad isn’t one of them.

“When you look at the power (imbalance) between the U.S. and Canada, an invasion would immediately result in the defeat of the Canadian Armed Forces,” said the University of Toronto political science professor, who last month published an essay on the subject in The Conversation.

British Hindu extremists are forming alliances with far-right groups over their ‘common hatred’ of Muslims – sparking fears religious brawls could break out again

British Hindu extremists are forming alliances with Far-Right groups over their ‘common hatred’ of Muslims, says a police intelligence report seen by the Mail on Sunday.

The study also claims that the extremists, who are aligned with India’s hardline prime minister Narendra Modi, are feared to be interfering in British elections by telling Hindus which parties to vote for and which to avoid.

The secret report, compiled by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC), says Hindu extremism – which is known as Hindutva – may worsen community relationships between Hindus and other faith groups like Muslims and Sikhs.

How Russia and China are seizing on Canada’s carelessness in the Arctic

At the end of the pier at the Nanisivik Naval Facility sit three unused jetties.

Ice smothers the remote base for most of the year, encasing its empty helipad, site office and diesel tanks – then melting away as the seasons pass.

When it was commissioned in 2007, Nanisivik was meant to signal Canada’s commitment to protecting its Arctic territories.

SKY news network is ripped apart for blaming TRUMP and DOGE for suffering in Myanmar earthquake

Sky News is coming under fire from Trump supporters after the news network published a column linking the devastation caused by Myanmar’s catastrophic earthquake and humanitarian crisis to President Trump and his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

At the heart of the uproar is a 1,200-word dispatch filed by International Affairs Editor Dominic Waghorn, whose commentary argued how the US government’s dismantling of USAID under Trump had compounded the disaster’s fallout.

‘The Myanmar quake is the first major disaster to suffer the brunt of Donald Trump’s USAID cuts,’ Waghorn wrote, pointing to the administration’s controversial closure of America’s international aid agency as a contributing factor to the scale of the suffering.

Trump says he ‘couldn’t care less’ about higher car prices

Donald Trump has said he “couldn’t care less” if carmakers raise prices after his 25% tariffs on foreign-made vehicles comes into effect.

Some analysts have warned that Trump’s charges on businesses importing vehicles could lead to the temporary shutdown of significant car production in the US, increase prices, and strain relations with allies.

But speaking to NBC News on Saturday, the US president said he hoped foreign carmakers raise prices as it means “people are gonna buy American-made cars. We have plenty”.

For four consecutive days, protesters in Gaza have risked their lives by taking to the streets, demanding an end to the war and the removal of Hamas, in the largest demonstrations of their kind since the start of the war.

With Israel blocking access to Gaza for international journalists, it is not possible to independently verify the scale of the protests. However, videos show protesters in the hundreds at demonstrations across different locations, suggesting the overall number is in the thousands.

What one shabby TTC stop says about the city’s ability to get anything done

A lot of subway riders travelling downtown recently will have noticed something astonishing about St. Patrick subway station: It’s starting to look something like it is supposed to. The new green tiles are being installed on the walls.

This might not seem like something to take notice of — subway tiles in a subway station is kind of the default look. And yet, at St. Patrick, for a long, long time, it has not been the look. Instead, the walls were stripped bare to expose ribs of circular steel girders mounted on concrete, with spraypaint on the structural walls visible underneath and pipes of various kinds exposed above.

Explicit Canadian emails target bourbon maker as Trump’s trade war intensifies

Standing next to half a dozen white oak barrels full of aging Kentucky bourbon, on the floor of his small Louisville, Ky., distillery, Victor Yarbrough holds up his laptop and starts reading his emails.

As the co-founder of Brough Brothers Distillery, he’s visibly taken aback by what’s landed in his inbox. And as a polite businessman, there’s some of it he will not say out loud.

There are roughly 50 emails in total, and most of them negative. Some of them are angry; a few are even explicit.
