Trudeau Lies: Family did not pay for vacay but stayed ‘no cost’ at pals place during vacation PMO clarifies

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s office is clarifying that he and his family are vacationing in Jamaica “at no cost at a location owned by family friends,” after initially saying the family was paying for their stay.

The Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement on Wednesday that the federal ethics commissioner was consulted “on these details prior to the travel to ensure that the rules were followed.”

The office offered the clarification the day before Trudeau’s holiday on the Caribbean island is set to conclude. He is there with Sophie Gregoire Trudeau and their three children.

Par for the course Junior is a compulsive liar.

Claudine Gay lied in NY Times op-ed by claiming to have ‘promptly requested corrections’ to ‘plagiarized’ work

A leading conservative who led the charge to get former Harvard President Claudine Gay fired is now challenging her New York Times essay to claim she lied about ‘promptly’ requesting corrections of plagiarized work.

Gay, 53, resigned on Tuesday – after just six months in the role – and spoke for the first time since her ouster in a New York Times op-ed claiming her dismissal over plagiarism and anti-Semitism scandals was actually the result of a racist campaign.

Now, conservative activist Christopher Rufo, who first publicly raised allegations of plagiarism in her work, is challenging her op-ed saying, ‘Claudine Gay is lying in the New York Times. She did not “promptly [request] corrections.”‘

Steven Guilbeault, ‘policy-maker of the year,’ is killing economic growth

The Ottawa-based Macdonald-Laurier Institute has named Steven Guilbeault, federal minister of environment and climate change, its 2023 policy-maker of the year. “Ruthless, reckless and damaging,” the cover of the latest issue of MLI’s Inside Policy magazine calls him, announcing its choice.

Standing out for reckless and damaging policy-making is a real achievement in a government now famous for policy disasters. Its economic policy has created crises of unaffordability and stagnation; its foreign policy was recently praised by terror group Hamas ; and its social policy has descended into a parody of wokeness, with international headlines mocking Ottawa for providing free feminine hygiene products in men’s washrooms on Parliament Hill and instructing all federally regulated workplaces to do the same — since providing them only to women would not be equitable.

Hamas calls for demonstrations for Gaza throughout the world

I’m sure the Hamas supporters of the GTA will step up and heed the call.

Hamas has called for the Arab, Muslim, and free communities of the world to increase solidarity activities for Gaza over the next few days, specifically over the weekend.

Hamas says the activities must become a symbol of protest against aggression, genocide, and ethnic cleansing of Gaza, and a denunciation of the murder of the leader and murderer Saleh al-Arouri, and Western, specifically American, support of the Zionist occupation.

America’s plan to replace gas guzzlers with electric cars was doomed from the start

Electric vehicles were supposed to be inevitable. Two years ago President Joe Biden climbed behind the wheel of a beefy white electric Hummer to tout his plan to make half of all new cars sold electric by 2030. The following year Congress passed the Inflation Reduction Act, which created a bevy of incentives for drivers to buy electric and for automakers to invest in EVs. That set off a flurry of new projects: EV plants, battery-manufacturing facilities, and mining operations began popping up. By the end of 2022 the situation looked promising: More and more Americans were going electric, and soon everyone would be driving an EV, reducing emissions in the process.

The transition to an all-EV future seemed like a slam dunk. It would not only give the government a highly visible way to show it’s fighting the climate crisis but boost the economy through new jobs and investment. But the electric-vehicle takeover has hit some serious roadblocks.

Heads of 17 Canadian environmental charities collecting major compensation packages

MONTREAL — A small group of leaders of Canadian charities in the environment, conservation, and animal protection sectors are taking home compensation packages equivalent to, and in some cases higher than, the salaries of provincial premiers.

An analysis by The Canadian Press identified 17 charities whose top executive drew annual compensation that was in the $200,000 to $250,000 range or higher, according to filings with the federal government made in 2022 and 2023.

The review focused on organizations recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as registered charities in the categories of “environment” and “animal protection,” which include several conservation organizations. The group of 17 with the highest salaries represents just over one per cent of all charities in those two categories.

The ‘final nail in the coffin’ for Prince Andrew: Bombshell Epstein file ‘underage orgy’ revelations

The release of US court documents accusing Prince Andrew of taking part in an ‘underage orgy’ on Jeffrey Epstein’s Caribbean island and groping the ‘boobs’ of an alleged sex slave ends any hope he has of returning to royal duties, experts told MailOnline today.

The Duke of York has been again dragged into the sex scandal surrounding his paedophile friend, just over a year after he settled the multi-million dollar case brought by Virginia Giuffre in 2022.

As well as being accused of ‘acts of sexual abuse’, documents released in New York overnight claim that Andrew would call Epstein weekly and jetted to his private Caribbean retreat, nicknamed the ‘Island of Sin’.

Was this all a Honey-Trap operation? Someone knows.
