Ex-Oxford professor of Islamist BS Tariq Ramadan to be tried in his absence for rape

Tariq Ramadan – Rapey Muslim

Tariq Ramadan, a former Oxford professor and Islamic scholar, will be tried in his absence in Paris next week on charges of raping three women after the court rejected his claim to be too ill to attend in person.

Corinne Goetzmann, the presiding judge, issued an immediate arrest warrant and ordered the trial to go ahead after medical experts reported to the court that Ramadan, 63, who is based in Switzerland, was fit enough to sit through the four-week trial. The proceedings will be held in camera, without attendance by the public or media.

LILLEY: Truthfully Canada doesn’t have what’s needed to join Iran war

The discussion going on about whether Canada could or should get involved in the war launched against Iran by the United States and Israel is becoming laughable.

We’ve had Prime Minister Mark Carney say that Canada wasn’t consulted nor asked to participate in the strikes last week.

Armed robots take to the battlefield in Ukraine war

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the war in Ukraine has developed into a high-tech conflict.

Swarms of spy and killer drones have set the skies of Ukraine abuzz, and uncrewed boats have crippled the Russian navy in the Black Sea.

Now, Ukraine has embarked on a massive programme to deploy armed robots on the ground.

Getting really crappy for the infantry.

Federal NDP fear they are on the verge of being wiped out in Quebec

OTTAWA—Some New Democrats are worried the party could be wiped out in Quebec as its only MP in the province signals a possible exit, sources say.

With Montreal-area MP Alexandre Boulerice “seriously” considering a jump to provincial politics, Quebec New Democrats fear they may not be able to hold on to the Rosemont—La Petite-Patrie seat he’s held since 2011, according to five NDP organizers in Quebec who were granted anonymity to speak freely.

I think they’re dead everywhere.

Nolte: Maggie Gyllenhaal‘s Ultra-Woke Frankenstein Flick ‘The Bride!’ Bombs at Box Office

Before we get started, I’d like to point out to the useless sycophants in the entertainment media that what I’m doing here is how it’s done.

You see, the news that The Bride! is a super-woke spin on The Bride of Frankenstein (1935) and Bonnie and Clyde (1967) has been obvious for some time and became blatantly obvious when the reviews poured in — especially the “positive” reviews, because even the “positive” reviews were “positive” in a grudging and backhanded sort of way.

Pity. I like Maggie Gyllenhaal despite the stench of wokiness that lingers about her.

Mark Carney is outspending Justin Trudeau

Prime Minister Mark Carney is outspending former prime minister Justin Trudeau. Canada’s last fiscal year – and the estimates for the upcoming 2026-27 fiscal year – are the two largest federal government spending years in the country’s history – aside from that single pandemic year and the countless CERB cheques mailed to locked-down Canadians. So, think about this: global banker Carney is outspending Trudeau, who was admittedly bad at math and did not think of Canada’s fiscal and monetary policy.

China Suspected in Breach of FBI Surveillance Network

U.S. investigators believe hackers affiliated with the Chinese government are responsible for a cyber intrusion on an internal Federal Bureau of Investigation computer network that holds information related to some domestic surveillance orders, according to people familiar with the matter.

The scope and severity of the intrusion are not known, and the investigation is in its early stages, the people said. Any preliminary conclusions could change as investigators gather more information.

If China is confirmed to be responsible for the breach, it would signal the latest intrusion by Beijing’s hackers of computer systems related to law-enforcement surveillance orders, which contain highly sensitive material.

WARMINGTON: Jewish community reeling as two more synagogues shot up in Toronto and York Region

The Greater Toronto Area has been shaken to its core after gunshots were fired into two more synagogues.

Toronto Police and neighbouring York Regional Police were sharing information Saturday morning following two disturbing early morning Jewish synagogue shooting incidents in those jurisdictions.

The GTA shaken to its core because a couple of synagogues were shot up? No not really.

This is normal nowadays and barely cause for a raised eyebrow.

It is the inevitable result of an immigration policy every bit as criminal as the perps who shot up the synagogues.

It is time that those responsible for Canada’s nation destroying immigration policy are treated as the criminals they are.

Make no mistake: the importation of incompatible cultures is being done deliberately to undermine our society.

Justice Department targets Cuban officials, aims for indictments

The Justice Department has formed a working group to examine possible federal charges against officials or entities within Cuba’s government, according to an official familiar with the group.

The formation of the group could be a significant step in the Trump administration’s public push to topple the regime in Cuba.

Officials from government agencies including the Treasury Department will be part of the recently formed group. Treasury’s involvement could mean the Trump administration is considering further sanctions against Cuba, already the subject of intense U.S. economic sanctions.

Defense Without U.S. Help Is a Live Topic for Canada, Japan and Australia

Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada landed in Japan on Friday as part of a 10-day tour that also included Australia. All three countries share at least one major concern: how to adapt now that President Trump has made it clear that they will need to look after their own security.

After Mr. Carney met with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi of Japan, the two leaders provided something of an answer — try to do more together.

“First, most importantly and fundamentally, we are enhancing our security and defense cooperation,” Mr. Carney said after a brief signing ceremony.

Epstein prison guard googled him minutes before body found — and made mysterious deposit before pedophile’s suicide: DOJ

One of Jeffrey Epstein’s prison guards googled the sex predator minutes before he was found dead — and also made a mysterious $5,000 cash deposit 10 days before the predator’s jail-cell suicide, new Department of Justice documents reveal.

Tova Noel was one of the two Metropolitan Correctional Center workers accused of falsifying records to say they checked on Epstein throughout the night before his Aug. 10, 2019, suicide.

They’re not even trying any more.

Iranian mathematician missing in Canada may have been targeted by Tehran, activists say

Police in Canada have concluded that a missing Iranian activist was most likely the victim of murder, prompting fears that his disappearance has the hallmarks of a transnational repression campaign targeting critics of Tehran.

Masood Masjoody, a mathematician critical of both Iran’s theocratic regime and the exiled family of the former shah, went missing in early February in the city of Burnaby, British Columbia.

Flying a Union Jack flag is branded a ‘tool of hate’ in Government’s leaked ‘social cohesion’ strategy

Flying English, Scottish and Union Jack flags has been branded as ‘tools of hate’ in a leaked draft of the Government’s new social cohesion strategy.

A leaked draft of the proposals suggests national symbols were sometimes used last summer to ‘exclude or intimidate’.

It warned that the ‘extreme right has tried to turn symbols of pride into tools of hate’.
