The Corruption of Everything

As we survey the American landscape, we cannot help but notice that just about everything has been corrupted by the left.

The justice system has been corrupted by partisan politics to the point where Republicans and conservatives are persecuted and prosecuted at a level far higher than anyone else. We on the right can reliably depend on being prosecuted for “misgendering,” contributing to conservative causes, being a Christian or a Jew, speaking out against the barbaric transing of children, defending ourselves with a firearm, and not being a Democrat. We can depend upon getting arrested for protesting peacefully as the corrupt “Justice” Department singles us out for jail, bankruptcy, or keeping us off election ballots, while really destructive rioters go free.

Virginia college graduate goes viral after eating and reviewing the final meals of death row inmates

A Virginia college graduate has gone viral after he ate and reviewed the final meals of notorious death row inmates.

Josh Slavin, 23, started his mission on September 1 and since then he has shared 26 videos on Instagram of serial killers’ last meals. He judged meals of well-known killers like Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacy.

Slavin began each video with him heading to the grocery store, where he would purchase the necessary ingredients before he went home and cooked the chosen dishes.

What Are the Anti-Trumpers Trying to Hide?

The new year has barely even started yet, and the American 2024 election cycle is already absurd. It is unlike any such cycle I have ever seen. Odd things are happening that would have been unthinkable just one or two elections ago.

Among the latest, most absurd ingredients in this increasingly bitter-tasting election soup, is a concerted effort to boot Donald Trump off the ballot in several states.

All these efforts will eventually fail, but the very fact that state officials are trying to ban a presidential candidate they don’t like paints a grim picture of desperation. It lays bare a political establishment whose only reason to get out of bed in the morning is to stop Trump from being elected president again.

Bill Clinton to be unmasked as ‘Doe 36’ and identified more than 50 times in Jeffrey Epstein doc dump

Former President Bill Clinton will be identified as “John Doe 36” in a trove of court documents related to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein which are expected to be released this week, according to a report.

Clinton, 77, is mentioned more than 50 times across redacted documents related to a 2015 lawsuit from Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, according to ABC News.

Many of the references to Clinton are believed to stem from Giuffre’s attempts to compel the former president to testify against the late sex offender and his former paramour and coconspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell.

Michael Taube: Gazing Into the Crystal Ball for Canada’s Three Major Party Leaders in 2024

It’s almost time to bid farewell to 2023, and ring in 2024. I and my fellow columnists will be sharpening our pencils (or, as we do these days, typing on our computer keys), gazing into imaginary crystal balls, and making New Year’s predictions.

What’s the future for Canada’s three major party leaders in 2024? Let’s gaze into the hazy, misty crystal ball and see!

MP Asks Why Man Deported by US for Alleged Terrorism Ties Holds Canadian Permanent Residency

The deportation of an Iranian national to Canada by U.S. customs authorities has prompted Conservative MP Melissa Lantsman to ask why this individual with alleged terrorism ties holds Canadian permanent residency (PR) status.

“Why does this man, who the #US sees as a terrorist threat, have PR in #Canada?” Ms. Lantsman wrote in a Dec. 28 post on social media platform X.

Probably a friend of Justin’s brother.

Rahim Mohamed: How pro-Palestinian protesters stole Christmas

It’s fair to say that, for many of us, Christmas felt a bit different this year.

Playing out amidst a national affordability crisis, with war still raging in the Holy Land, a time of year that’s usually marked by festive cheer instead took on a foreboding air, a mood that certainly wasn’t lifted by a federal government whose idea of spreading cheer to all was posting food bank photo ops to social media — as if wanting to remind Canadians of the immiseration created by eight years of Liberal economic policies.

Political intervention risks stifling campus debates on Israel-Palestine

It was stunning to watch Ivy League presidents lapse into confusion when asked at a Congressional hearing whether calling for genocide against Jews would be acceptable on their campuses.

One doesn’t need to be a highly educated university president to know that genocide — the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular group with the aim of destroying that group — is always unacceptable.

So it wasn’t surprising when five Liberal MPs, led by Montreal MP Anthony Housefather, announced in early December they were sending a letter to 25 university presidents in Canada to see how they’d handle the question.

What debates on campus?

Israel’s ‘Black Sabbath’: Murder, Sexual Violence and Torture on Oct. 7

NIR OZ, Israel—Eitan Cunio heard the militants enter his house and watched as gasoline seeped under the door of the safe room where he sheltered with his wife and two children.

His 1-year-old daughter was crying as the family’s home in Kibbutz Nir Oz was set alight and smoke began entering the room. Cunio put wet sheets at the bottom of the door and told his family they would stay inside rather than be killed or kidnapped. If we die, we die together at home, he said.

Before passing out, Cunio sent a tearful voice note to a friend in his community: “Brother, it’s horrible. We are going to die.”

Republicans slam DOJ for dropping campaign finance charges against major Democratic donor Sam Bankman-Fried: ‘So we won’t know which politicians he bribed?’

Critics are accusing the DOJ of sweeping additional charges against FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried under the rug, after prosecutors said he would not face a second trial for campaign finance violations following his conviction last month.

In a letter filed on Friday night in federal court in Manhattan, prosecutors said the ‘strong public interest’ in a prompt resolution of the case outweighed the benefits of a second trial.

In his letter to the court, US Attorney Damian Williams noted that prosecutors introduced evidence about all of the dropped charges during Bankman-Fried’s monthlong first trial, where he was found guilty on all counts.

Mali: UN peacekeeping mission ends after decade

UN peacekeepers are due to finish their withdrawal from Mali on Sunday, after a long-running mission lasting a decade.

Minusma – the Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission – began in 2013 after an armed rebellion, but has been asked to leave by the country’s ruling military government.

The UN mission’s head said it did a lot but fell below expectations.

With some 310 peacekeepers killed, Minusma was the UN’s second deadliest mission worldwide, after Lebanon.
