Beer sales plunge to lowest levels in 24 years — thanks to Bud Light’s disastrous Dylan Mulvaney campaign

Beer sales in the US are expected to plunge to their lowest level since 1999 — largely due to Bud Light’s massive falloff after its disastrous tie-up with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, industry experts said.

Sales declined by more than 5% in the first nine months of the year, dragged down not only by the backlash and boycotts against Anheuser-Busch-owned Bud Light but the changing habits of younger drinkers, according to Beer Marketer’s Insights.

Late Night ‘Comedy’ Bottom Ten Moments of 2023

It was a year of change for late night comedy. The Late Late show was cancelled by CBS after 5,300 episodes since 1995 after James Corden decided to return to England, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show used a series of temp hosts after Trevor Noah walked away at the end of 2022, CBS host of The Late Show Stephen Colbert finally stopped giving Donald Trump the He Who Must Not Be Named treatment, and then, of course, there was the strike that forced them off the air for five months. One thing that did not change, however, was the heavy amounts of leftism, so in the spirit of David Letterman, here are the bottom ten moments from late night 2023.

Most Canadians think they are middle class, poll finds

A new study on Canadian social class and political identity defies familiar stereotypes about the ideological alignment of rich people versus poor people.

It also offers a new perspective on that most popular of all social classes, to which all decent people think they belong, sometimes despite strong evidence to the contrary, and to whom all politicians most fervently pitch — the middle class.

He’s never, ever resigning: Takeaways from all of Trudeau’s year-end interviews

It would be wrong to expect a Canadian prime minister to lace their year-end interview with uncertainty and self-doubt. But these interviews were particularly devoid of any acknowledgement that Trudeau has ever misjudged an issue, altered course due to changing circumstances or failed to prevent a crisis.

When interviewers asked him whether he’d been late to the issue of housing affordability, Trudeau said he’d actually been ahead of the curve with his 2017 National Housing Strategy.

PCO poll finds many do not trust the media and do not believe news outlets are closing

Slightly more Canadians say the media cannot be trusted to make decisions in the public interest as say they have trust in the media to act in the public interest, according to internal federal government polls obtained by Global News.

But the same polling shows high levels of distrust among many other institutions: provincial and territorial governments, Canadian financial institutions, the federal government and social media platforms.

Media, government and institutions lie? Imagine that … TDS, Russiagate, Trudeau, Mass Immigration, Islam, DEI, Multicultuaralism, Diversity, Climate change, “Far Right”, Covid, China, racism, mass graves … and the beat goes on.

A top U.S. military officer has warned that the delivery of F-35 aircraft ordered by Canada and other allies could be delayed because of ongoing technical problems.

If that happens, depending on the length of the delay, Canadian taxpayers could have to spend between $400 million and $700 million extra for the stealth fighters.
