Pity Justin Trudeau, whose failed premiership is coming to a crashing end

The slow-motion car crash that has been Justin Trudeau’s time as prime minister of Canada appears to be nearing its merciful conclusion. It is difficult to see how he can go on much longer, lurching from one controversy to the next, vacuously mugging for the camera as he muddles through another awkward press conference with his deer-in-the-headlights gaze, repeating himself in French translation to take up more time, ensuring that he says as little as possible to a country that has stopped listening.

Tasha Kheiriddin: Canada, the land of imported ethnic conflicts

Ask yourself: Would a young white male of the type that at one time comprised the bulk of the armed forces recruitment pool but is now a rara avis really be interested in defending Hamas supporters?

Immigration built Canada: does it now risk tearing our country apart? That is the troubling takeaway from a Leger report published this weekend in the National Post. The research firm asked 1,500 Canadians their opinions about protests in Canada related to the Hamas-Israel War, as well as the recent spike in hate crimes. Their answers reveal great concern about these issues and the way ethnocultural diversity has shaped our response, as well as that of our politicians.

Multiculturalism and diversity are code for anti-white racism.

Disrupt Violent Left-Wing Networks

Americans must become confident again that their government will enforce the law, without fear or favor.

The summer of 2020 resembled a political revolution. Militants associated with Black Lives Matter and Antifa led the most destructive riots in American history. Radicals burned down city blocks, perpetrated acts of violence, and briefly established an “autonomous zone” in Seattle characterized by a police-free political order and a homicide rate 50 times higher than that of Chicago.

The EU wants to SEIZE your old car to meet climate goals

The EU is now finding more ways to take away your freedoms. They want to take away ownership of your old car and scrap it! Yes, you read that correctly.

The EU has something called End-of-life vehicles directive, and they are looking to expand this to become so draconian that it reminds of something that would have happened in the Communist Soviet Union.

‘Squad’ firebrand Rashida Tlaib’s astonishing links to shady Hamas group held liable for DEATH of an American Jew

Rashida Tlaib had the crowd eating out of her hand.

It was March 2018, and the hookah lounge in a working-class suburb outside of Chicago was packed.

Warm and engaging, switching frequently between English and Arabic, Tlaib – a Michigan State representative with larger ambitions – pleaded for out-of-state donations to help her become the first Palestinian American in Congress.

Should We Fund the ‘Nazis’ of the 21st Century?

They certainly cannot be happy in Beijing. An exceedingly technical administrative decision in Washington, D.C. will soon result in investors pulling tens of billions of dollars in investments from a cash-strapped China.

On November 14, the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board changed the benchmark for the Thrift Savings Plan’s International Stock Index Investment Fund, better known as the I Fund.

Previously, the I Fund tracked the MSCI Europe, Australasia and Far East Index. The Thrift Board decided on November 14th instead to track the MSCI All Country World ex USA ex China ex Hong Kong Investible Market Index.

Diane Francis: Trudeau tries to loot charitable sector to fund his high-spending government

The profligate Trudeau government is proposing a tax reform to ensure fair tax contributions from all, but in reality it’s nothing more than a stealth tax hike designed to fill government coffers at the expense of Canadian charities. The tax grab is coming by way of proposed changes to the alternative minimum tax (AMT), and the country’s donors and charity fundraisers are upset.

Douglas Todd: It’s a problem when kids whose parents don’t own homes end up as non-owners

The Strawberry Box House – Shelter from the Storm

What happens to equality when young adults who don’t have homeowner parents are far less likely to be able to buy a dwelling?

It’s not every day you are cited in the introduction to a Statistics Canada study.

But that’s what happened this week when a new report by housing researchers at the Crown corporation highlighted my 2021 column, titled Canada’s ‘bank of mom and dad’ returning us to 19th-century inheritance culture.

In their groundbreaking study of a disturbing trend toward inequality in Canada, Michael Mirdamadi and Aisha Khalid discovered young adults who have parents who own their home were twice as likely to own a home themselves.

The inability to afford a home is an awful prospect to face. That twit in Ottawa is doing everything he can to make it worse.

‘Doctor Who’ Has Regenerated Into a Woke Nightmare

Fans once considered Doctor Who the pinnacle of family sci-fi programming. Its relaunch in 2005 created nearly a decade of fantastic stories that became a global phenomenon. But like many beloved properties, new writers and producers butchered the show as time passed, turning it into an LGBTQ virtue-signal hour and turning off the loyal family audiences who made it popular. The most recent 60th Anniversary Special, titled “The Star Beast,” is an hour-long lecture on pronouns in the worst installment of the show yet.

Educate or prosecute? Two Anishnaabe weigh in on how to deal with residential school fake graves truth tellers

“It wasn’t that bad, they got an education out of it.”

Michael Eshkawkogan says he’s seen that exact comment and others like it when scrolling on social media. No one has ever said it to his face, but he knows it’s out there.

“Some don’t believe churches or people are capable of this,” said Eshkawkogan, whose grandmother was forced to attend the Spanish Indian Residential School for girls in northeastern Ontario before it closed in 1965.
