Insurance Industry Execs ‘Alarmed’ by Surge in Deaths Among Young People — But Stop Short of Blaming COVID Shots

Executives at the largest insurance companies in the United States are alarmed that teenagers, young and white-collar Americans in the prime of life are inexplicably dying at a record pace, causing a “monumental outflow” of death claims and drag on profits that is shaking the industry and causing some to take a fresh look at the problem.

According to an Oct. 26 report in InsuranceNewsNet, U.S. insurance companies expected higher-than-normal payouts from excess deaths during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Germany may soon become a Sharia nation

In 2015, the so-called Arab Spring, which Barack Obama helped foment, turned into the Muslim march on Europe. As you may recall, then-Chancellor Angela Merkel, from her powerful position as head of the EU’s most powerful nation, invited in all the displaced refugees from across the Muslim Middle East and Africa. It was an invasion by invitation, and now Germany may soon become a Muslim-controlled country.

We have a fifth column in our midst. Now we see the true face of the enemy: radical Islam.

The British are among the most mild-mannered people in the world. We apologise to the waiter when the food is not up to snuff; we say sorry when others mumble and we cannot understand what they’ve said; we even offer a mea culpa to those who career into us along the pavement, as though it were somehow our fault for getting in the way in the first place. But there is a line, for anyone foolish enough to seek it.

The memory-holed massacre

One month on, the Hamas atrocities of 7 October are already being denied, obfuscated and forgotten.

7 October 2023 ought to be a date that will live in infamy. One month ago today, Hamas terrorists smashed through the Israeli border, killing, torturing and kidnapping innocent civilians in their path. Simply repeating the number of those murdered – now believed to be 1,400 – cannot do justice to the savagery and wickedness of this attack. Hamas butchers mowed down teenagers at a music festival. They paraded young women naked through the streets. They raped others next to their friends’ dead bodies. They slaughtered a grandmother in her home and uploaded a film of her murder to social media so her family could see it. They sliced open a woman’s womb and then stabbed her unborn baby. Some children were burned. Others were decapitated. The terrorists’ glee was visible in the depraved footage they willingly broadcast to the world.

Is Campus Rage Fueled by Middle Eastern Money?

Since Hamas’s October 7 massacre, it has been hard to miss the explosion of antisemitic hate that has gripped college campuses across the country. At Cornell, a student posted a call “to follow [Jews] home and slit their throats,” and a professor said the terror attack “energized” and “exhilarated” him. At Harvard, a mob of students besieged an Israeli student, surrounding him as they bellowed “shame, shame, shame.” At dozens of other campuses, students gathered to celebrate Hamas.

The response from school administrations has been alarming. With few exceptions, in the immediate aftermath of October 7, university presidents issued equivocal statements about the initial attack. Some professors even celebrated it. And the focus on the part of administration bureaucrats has been on protecting the students tearing down posters and being shamed for doing so.

Hamas’s Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar has been ‘isolated’ in his bunker, Israel’s defence minister says

Hamas’s Gaza leader Yahya Sinwar has been ‘isolated’ in his bunker, Israel’s defence minister said tonight, as he confirmed IDF troops are in the heart of the terrorist’s ‘stronghold’, Gaza City.

War cabinet minister Yoav Gallant said in a televised statement that the Hamas leader ‘is hiding in his bunker and is without contact with his associates,’ but did not disclose where Sinwar’s bunker is located.

‘We are in the heart of Gaza City,’ Gallant told reporters. ‘Gaza is the largest terrorist base ever built.’

So far so good, casualties are light, progress is being made. I see no reason to listen to the Ceasefire crowd.

Tasha Kheiriddin: Canada’s multicultural utopia now a balkanized grievance factory

Canada has become a nation of diasporas. Rather than wrapping ourselves in a common flag, we huddle in our enclaves: Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Jewish, Chinese, Black and the list goes on. Faith, color and country of origin divide the nation. Everyone is the “other,” and increasingly, the enemy. Violence and acts of hatred are multiplying in our streets.

The pro-Palestine convoy, which is proposed to travel from Bradford to London, is being promoted on social media and flyers amid growing fears of violent disorder.

Why isn’t Canada cracking down on this Indian student visa scam?

Canada’s rift with India continues. It’s been almost two months since Canada’s prime minister Justin Trudeau accused ‘agents of the government of India’ of assassinating Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Nijjar. The two countries have been in a diplomatic stand-off ever since, with trade talks suspended and Ottawa failing to provide any concrete proof behind its claim that Nijjar was killed under direction from Modi. But the possibility that Nijjar’s death was a result of gang activity between warring factions of criminal Sikh gang members in Canada has put a spotlight on the country’s growing Punjabi community and highlighted questions over Canada’s international student visa and immigration fraud.

Tom Mulcair: Trudeau in a tailspin as his carbon tax blows up

Justin Trudeau has been juggling the climate change file since he took office. After eight years of twirling, there were just too many parts in the air at the same time. It’s now come crashing down and no one who understands the complex issue is really surprised.

There are different tools in the public policy toolbox to deal with dangerous emissions.

You can take a strictly regulatory approach, saying that certain emissions and substances are banned. That’s the essence of the Montreal Protocol, adopted internationally to deal with substances that had been depleting the ozone layer. Chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) were forbidden outright.
