Fateful Errors

Hamas made several strategic miscalculations in its unconscionable attacks on Israel.

Hamas seems to have made two fundamental miscalculations in staging its barbaric October 7 attack on Israel.

First, its leadership clearly assumed that the United States would not continue to support Israel if it killed enough of the Palestinians whom Hamas has been using as human shields to protect its command centers and underground tunnel networks in Gaza.

Angelina Jolie’s father critical of her stance on Israel attacks

Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight has criticised her on social media – saying he was “disappointed” in his daughter’s comments about Israel’s attacks on Gaza.

Jolie, 48, posted a statement on Instagram saying the Hamas terrorist attack “cannot justify the innocent lives lost in bombing a civilian population in Gaza that has nowhere to go, no access to food or water, no possibility of evacuation, and not even the basic human right to cross a border to seek refuge”.

“The bombings are causing desperate new humanitarian needs daily,” she wrote.

New emails show DHS created Stanford ‘disinfo’ group that censored speech before 2020 election

New emails show officials at the Department of Homeland Security created a Stanford University “disinformation” group that censored Americans’ speech before the 2020 election, according to a House Judiciary Committee report exclusively obtained by The Post.

The House panel’s 103-page staff interim report says never-before-seen emails and internal communications were obtained from the group, known as the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), and show how it worked with DHS’ Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) to flag, suppress and remove online speech in coordination with big tech companies.

Gays for Gay-Killers, Jews for Jew-Killers, Feminists for Wife-Beating, Progressives for Fascists

Among the groups that have supported the rapes, beheadings, burning alive, mass murder and kidnappings of Jews by Hamas have been some that purport to speak for gays, Jews, feminists and progressives. If any of these groups were actually to travel to Gaza, they would be murdered by Hamas.

Hamas has no tolerance for gays, Jews, feminists or progressives. Indeed, among the people beheaded, raped, murdered and kidnapped were gays, Jews who support Palestinians, feminists, progressives and non-Jews. None of that matters to Hamas. If you are a Jew or an Israeli or just happen to be in the way, you are a target of their barbarity.

‘Deport them!’ War hero’s brutal tactic to deal with pro-Palestinian Remembrance Day mob

Anti-Israel thugs who defile Britain’s memorials should face immediate deportation, a celebrated war hero has told Express.co.uk.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, he added: “I think they should take into consideration that the remembrance is remembering the people who won them the rights to exercise that.”

Canadian restaurants struggle to survive as survey finds diners turning away from skyrocketing menu prices

Siva Sathasivam, owner of Uncle Tony’s restaurant in downtown Toronto, has fought hard to keep menu prices down amid skyrocketing food and rent costs — but it has come at a price.

The 60-year-old has had to cut staff over the last few years and is now down to only one server at his restaurant most days — himself.

“I’m reducing my own labour costs so that I can be in business,” Sathasivam said.

If you voted for Trudeau or Chow then you voted to put yourself out of business.

The 130-page report, released by the Falun Dafa Association of Canada (FDAC) on Oct. 25, details Chinese Communist Party (CCP) strategies for foreign interference, focusing on adherents of Falun Dafa, also called Falun Gong, in Canada.

France investigates Russian involvement in anti-Semitic graffiti campaign

Hundreds of Stars of David have been smeared on walls in and around Paris since the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct 7

France is investigating possible Russian involvement in an alleged anti-Semitic campaign that has seen Stars of David daubed on buildings throughout Paris.

Security services reportedly believe the graffiti may have been part of a Russian campaign to “destabilise” France and foment anti-Semitism in the wake of the Hamas attack on Israel.

Hundreds of Stars of David, the symbol of the Jewish religion and the State of Israel, were smeared on walls in and around the French capital late last month.

Ottawa under pressure to publish online safety bill to tackle rising antisemitism

Ottawa is under pressure from Jewish groups to bring forward a long-promised bill to tackle online hate, amid warnings that rising antisemitism is making Jews in Canada, especially on university and college campuses, feel unsafe.

Jewish groups are saying that an upsurge in antisemitic abuse online makes the bill more urgent, saying that some social media platforms are too slow to take down antisemitic insults, comments and abuse, which have escalated since attacks on Israel by Hamas militants set off a Middle East war earlier this month.

I am not for this bill. All such legislation ends up being contorted into censorship of dissent.
