Oregon embraces a level of racism last seen before the Civil War

One of the sins of the antebellum South was that it made it illegal to educate slaves. The idea behind this policy was that educated blacks might rebel against the system that oppressed them. After all, while slavery was normative in Africa, educating them in the Western canon might show them that it didn’t have to be this way. I thought of that when Oregon’s Department of Education announced that it was racist to require minorities to have basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic upon graduation. What better way to keep blacks from understanding that there is something better than what leftism offers?

The David Horowitz Freedom Center recently exposed Yousra Fazili’s family ties to Islamic terror.

In 2019, Yousra Fazili addressed a congressional hearing to complain about the arrest of her cousin by Indian authorities. The woman who now serves as Chief of Staff for the Pentagon Comptroller claimed that her cousin was the innocent victim of oppressive Indian authorities.

Washington Post: CIA-Supported Ukrainian Intel Behind Murder of Darya Dugina

Russia’s Federal Security Service’s (FSB) claim that the assassination of Darya Dugina, the daughter of the political philosopher and idealogue Aleksandr Dugin, had been “prepared and perpetrated by the Ukrainian special services” appears to have been confirmed days ago by a report published days ago by The Washington Post.

Citing unnamed “security officials with knowledge of the operation,” the report, titled “Ukrainian spies with deep ties to CIA wage shadow war against Russia,” states that Ukrainian intelligence operatives used a secret compartment inside a cat crate to smuggle bomb components into Russia; parts that were used to produce the car bomb that murdered Dugina in the summer of 2022.

California city the first in US to condemn Israel, accuse Jewish state of ‘ethnic cleansing’ in Gaza

A California city has become the first in the US to pass a resolution condemning Israel — accusing the Jewish nation of committing “ethnic cleansing and collective punishment.”

The resolution passed by the Richmond City Council around 1 a.m. Wednesday states, in part, that Palestinians in Gaza “are currently facing a campaign of ethnic cleansing and collective punishment by the state of Israel.”

Denmark Aims a Wrecking Ball at ‘Non-Western’ Neighborhoods

After they fled Iran decades ago, Nasrin Bahrampour and her husband settled in a bright public housing apartment overlooking the university city of Aarhus, Denmark. They filled it with potted plants, family photographs and Persian carpets, and raised two children there.

Now they are being forced to leave their home under a government program that effectively mandates integration in certain low-income neighborhoods where many “non-Western” immigrants live.

In practice, that means thousands of apartments will be demolished, sold to private investors or replaced with new housing catering to wealthier (and often nonimmigrant) residents, to increase the social mix.

Germany is waking up to Islamist antisemitism

A foiled terror plot this week is a sign of a more proactive approach

According to various German reports, domestic intelligence was tipped off earlier this week by a foreign source about a possible terrorist attack on a pro-Israel rally in a major German city. The suspect, “Tarek S”, is a former member of Isis who became infamous in Germany for posing with the victims of beheadings and featuring in propaganda videos for the Islamist group. Once returned to Germany in 2017, he was convicted to five years of juvenile detention.

I’ll believe that when I see it, though they have cracked down on the Hamas supporters.

‘I am proud of my Indigenous-American identity’: Buffy Sainte-Marie responds to allegations about ancestry

Singer-songwriter Buffy Sainte-Marie has responded to questions about her Indigenous ancestry that are expected to be raised in a CBC report airing this week.

She is a member of the Italian tribe!

“I have always struggled to answer questions about who I am,” Sainte-Marie, 82, said in a statement released Thursday. “Through that research what became clear, and what I’ve always been honest about, is that I don’t know where I’m from or who my birth parents were, and I will never know.”

Questions about Sainte-Marie’s Indigenous ancestry are expected to be central to an upcoming instalment of CBC’s news documentary show The Fifth Estate.

This is a much more in depth piece on Buffy, it does not look good – Canadian documentary focuses on ‘Icon’ who based career on Native identity

Ottawa exempting rural home heating oil from carbon tax for 3 years, Trudeau says

The government is creating a rural carve-out for the carbon tax on home heating, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Thursday.

The government will exempt home heating oil from the tax for three years, double the rural supplement in the rebate program and offer new programs Trudeau said will help rural Canadians switch to electric heat pumps.

“We have to fight climate change in a way that supports all Canadians,” Trudeau told a press conference.

We are lead by a high school student and not a very bright one at that.

Why Sophie Grégoire Trudeau’s personal life is under the microscope again

Not so long ago, seeing “Sophie” — as in Sophie Grégoire Trudeau — trending on social media meant people were talking about a news story linked to her husband’s political career. (That or her famous close pal, Meghan Markle, who had her on her podcast last summer.)

These days, however, it’s Grégoire Trudeau’s own life that’s under a microscope. Case in point: Her name is a trending phrase on X, formerly Twitter, because of a new report about her dating life — it’s even made it to the British tabloids.

American Banlieue

We need to extinguish the fires of tribalism before they burn us all up.

These past few weeks, we’ve witnessed a new and terrifying phenomenon: The banlieue-ization of American cities and college campuses.

Just like the French suburbs that catch fire, quite literally, every time their disgruntled residents decide that they’re not fond of a particular policy or bit of breaking news, we now have bonfires in Bay Ridge and pinheads at Penn marching around and cheering on Jewish genocide. And just like those French suburbs, one major reason for this vile and violent degeneracy is a new generation of young people who no longer feel bound to their fellow citizens in any meaningful way.

My Old Friend Is Ripping Down Posters of Kidnapped Children

My daughter is scared of the dark. We got her a nightlight—it glows purple—which helps. Still, she likes my husband or me to lie in bed with her until she falls asleep. She’ll wrap her arm around my neck as she drifts off, and whisper things like “I love you, Mommy” and “What are we doing tomorrow?” She is four and a half.

That Kumbaya Kool-Aid has a bad aftertaste I bet.
