Haters try to bring down Aussie-style sushi restaurant in NYC — because the owner is white

There’s no oppressor quite like a white immigrant woman selling sushi.

At least that’s how Eric Rivera, a North Carolina based chef and perpetual victim, views the world.

After seeing that a blonde Australian woman, Alex Marks, recently opened Sushi Counter — a West Village take-out spot serving “Aussie-style sushi” — he launched an online bullying campaign from his recliner, a whopping 500 miles away.

Qatar: Master Double-Dealer

There is a very good reason why the tiny Gulf state of Qatar finds itself so well-placed to play a central role in negotiating the release of Israeli hostages taken captive by Hamas during its barbaric assault against Israel.

The hundreds of millions of dollars the Qataris have given Hamas during the past decade have been instrumental in helping the terrorist group to develop the infrastructure that enabled it to carry out its murderous assault on Israel in the first place.

‘Sponge bombs’ are Israel’s new secret weapon to block Hamas tunnels

Israel will use novel “sponge bombs” as it fights through the network of Hamas tunnels under Gaza.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has been testing the chemical bombs, which contain no explosives but are used to seal off gaps or tunnel entrances from which fighters may emerge.

The IDF has not commented on the use of the so-called “sponge bombs”, which create a sudden explosion of foam that rapidly expands and then hardens.

Trudeau government doesn’t seem to be trying very hard to reclaim grant from it’s anti-semite hireling Laith Marouf

Jamie Sarkonak: Federal government still hasn’t managed to collect Laith Marouf’s revoked grant

It’s been a little over a year since the Department of Canadian Heritage cancelled an “anti-racism” grant that had funded the work of Laith Marouf, a pro-Palestinian activist known for his intense antisemitism. The money — around $123,000 — has not yet been paid back, despite the government demanding its return and sending it to collections.

So when members of the Liberal government give assurances that the $60 million they’re sending to Israel and Gaza will stay out of Hamas’s hands, it doesn’t exactly inspire a sense of security. If the government can’t retrieve public funds that accidentally went to a bad cause at home, it probably can’t do so in a war zone half way around the world.

Amy Hamm’s Tranny witch hunters say they alone should decide who is an expert on the tranny mind

Lawyer says contentious psychologist will ‘dispel the myth’ that B.C. nurse’s comments harm trans people

The legal team for a B.C. nurse facing potential discipline over her public statements about transgender people is arguing that a controversial psychologist should be allowed to give expert evidence suggesting there is social value and scientific truth in her opinions.

Amy Hamm’s lawyer argued Wednesday that Toronto psychologist James Cantor’s evidence is necessary to counter the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives’ contention that Hamm has committed unprofessional conduct.

“He can dispel the myth that Amy Hamm’s opinions … will lead to actual harm to transgender people or deter them from seeking medical care,” lawyer Karen Bastow said Wednesday during a hearing on whether Cantor should be qualified as an expert witness.

You can’t have a proper witch hunt if you allow dissenting opinions.

Guess Who Funded the Pro-Palestinian ‘Insurrectionists’ on Capitol Hill

Last week a group of pro-Palestinian protestors stormed the Cannon House Office Building and staged a protest inside the Rotunda. Protests are not allowed in congressional buildings, so they had no right to be there. Roughly 300 of these protesters were arrested for illegally demonstrating, and a few more were charged with assaulting police officers.

The protest, which promptly met the qualifications of an insurrection (according to Democrats), was organized by the supposed “Jewish” organizations Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and IfNotNow. How Jewish are these groups in reality? I dare say very little.

Joel Kotkin: Samuel Huntington was right — cultural and religious clashes are driving war today

History is rearing its ugly head, and it would best not to look away. Time to put away our foolish utopian dreams and face the harsher, more divided world, predicted in Samuel Huntington’s 2011 book, The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order .

In the heady days following the collapse of the Soviet Union, many public intellectuals, as well as presidents like George W. Bush and Barack Obama, embraced the notion of an ever expanding, liberal and democratic world order. Some, like political scientist Francis Fukuyama, even preached the “end of history,” prophesizing “the good news” of democracy’s inevitable spread and insisting that tech growth favours “a universal evolution in the direction of capitalism.”

Who are the key targets on Israel’s Hamas hit list?

Israel has stepped up its operations to follow through on its promise to wipe out Hamas’s hierarchy and the people behind the October 7 attacks.

As tanks rolled into Gaza in the early hours of Thursday, the preparations for Israel’s promised ground invasion against Hamas began as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned “this is only the beginning”.

Experts told The National Israel will be making “no distinction” between Hamas’s political and military leadership and its hit list will be “exhaustive and ranked in value order”.

MPP Sarah Jama’s removal divides the NDP

Checks all NDP boxes, Black, female, disabled, hates Jews

There’s division in the ranks after NDP Leader Marit Stiles dumped Sarah Jama from the party’s caucus for insubordination following two weeks of controversy over the rookie MPP’s statement about the Hamas-Israel war.

In a thread Wednesday on X (formerly Twitter), New Democrat MPP Jill Andrew — who, like Jama, is Black — said a statement from Stiles announcing the decision “went on to conjure what I feel were stereotypical tropes about Black people, especially Black women, who are perceived as difficult.”

Lots of love for Hamas in the NDP.

Harvard Creates Task Force for Doxxed Students Amid Backlash Over Israel Statement

Harvard will establish a task force to support students experiencing doxxing, harassment, and online security issues following backlash against students allegedly affiliated with a statement that held Israel “entirely responsible” for violence in the Israel-Hamas conflict.

The new task force will be in operation until Nov. 3, at which point the task force will reassess its efforts to ensure that its work meets student needs, according to an email obtained by The Crimson. The message, dated Tuesday, was sent to doxxed students by Dean of Students Thomas Dunne.

TDSB says it is aware of possible walkouts today over Israel-Hamas war

The Toronto District School Board says it is aware that there are some student-led walkouts planned for today over the Israel-Hamas war.
