Was Hamas’ brutal raid on Israel the day liberals realised their delusions about Islamic extremism were dead?

WILL people ever wake up? That’s the question some of us have wondered for decades now.

Facts that have been staring us in the face have been ignored. Fantasies that shouldn’t have been entertained have been flattered.

The fact is many “Liberals and Progressives” support the Hamas atrocities, many more do as well but keep quiet about it. Some had a rude awakening but ultimately the slaughter will be memory holed for them.

At the time of this writing, the police have not identified any suspects, but they are investigating it as a hate crime.

Blood Libel against Jews: Back with a Vengeance

Gaza Hospital missile hit car park

A document from the end of the 15th century features an illustration of a bearded Jew extracting the blood of a Christian child. The adjoining text explains that Jewish law requires that Passover matzoh be baked with the blood of Christian children.

Such documents were widely circulated through Europe during the Easter season and led to frequent pogroms — murder, rape, and destruction — against Jewish children, women and men in revenge for allegedly killing Christian children for their blood to make matzoh.

There was never any actual evidence of such cannibalism. In fact, Jewish law explicitly prohibits the consumption of any blood or its use in cooking.

As cost of living soars, millions of Canadians are turning to food banks

Every Friday, people line up around the block to pick up dinner from a tiny church off College Street in downtown Toronto. Volunteers working for the food program inside serve a hot casserole, some rice, and maybe fruit and yogurt if supplies come through.

Rev. Canon Maggie Helwig, who helps run the program out of St. Stephen-in-the-Fields church, said it regularly serves 130 people for dinner on Fridays — compared to the two dozen they saw a few years ago.

On Saturday and Sunday mornings, the lineup for breakfast is even longer — with hundreds of parents, seniors, students, working adults and those who are unemployed.
