Hezbollah Leader Threatens Europe With Wave of Syrian Refugees

Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah, this week threatened Europe with a new wave of Syrian refugees in an apparent bid to gain leverage over the European Union and force the United States to lift sanctions on Syria.

Speaking on a Lebanese TV broadcast on Tuesday, Nasrallah said that rather than fleeing to Europe in rubber dinghies, Lebanon could provide the refugees with full-sized boats.

Ex-RCMP Officer Ortis’s Court Documents Show Damning Revelations

Sharing is good, but there are rules to passing out intelligence

When I was a kid growing up in southwestern Ontario I remember a video/song that extolled sharing. It was, so I learned through Google, produced by the United Church of Christ and went something like this: “That’s the way it is, truly-ooly-ooly is. It’s nice to share.”

I wonder if Cameron Ortis, the RCMP official charged by the Crown with “sharing” intelligence illegally, saw that video too?

How the Israel-Gaza attacks unfolded, hour by hour

Hundreds are dead on both sides after Hamas fired thousands of rockets at Israel, which retaliated with strikes on Gaza.

The Palestinian group that controls Gaza attacked Israel by land, sea and air in an operation that was unprecedented in its ambition and ferocity. More than 50 Israeli hostages were also thought to have been taken forcibly to Gaza.

Binyamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, whose government has faced mass domestic protests since the start of the year, said the country was “at war”. He pledged that the “enemy will pay an unprecedented price”. President Biden said the United States had “rock solid and unwavering” support for Israel.

As Canadians shiver in the cold, Trudeau hits the slopes in style

Politicians and their families are entitled to the occasional spot of R&R, just like everybody else. Being an elected official, after all, is a stressful job that requires long hours and subjects one to withering public scrutiny.

One politician who’s never had trouble prying himself away from the office is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Through his eight years at the helm, Trudeau’s various family getaways have been the source of much public fascination and, on more than one occasion, political controversy. From an ethically dubious trip to Aga Khan’s private island, to a $6,000-per-night hotel suite in London, perhaps no Canadian prime minister has ever travelled in style quite like Trudeau.

Pro-Hamas Islamists Celebrate, and Gather in London, in the Wake of Israel Slaughter

Just a day after Iran-backed Hamas terrorists slaughtered and kidnapped Israeli civilians, leaving a trail of bodies across Israel’s border with the Gaza Strip, Iranian Islamists in the United Kingdom are organizing an event, at a venue in London controlled by a British Hamas network, featuring pro-Hamas voices, including a prominent American Islamist leader.

On October 8, the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) is hosting a talk on “Justice, Peace and Reconciliation in Palestine.”

Counter-extremist analysts, such as noted counter-Islamist activist Habibi, have reported that speakers include Mohd Azmi Abdul Hamid, a Malaysian cleric who has apparently praised “jihad” against the “Zionist regime to the last breath and blood.”

Cost of Canada’s new flagship ocean science vessel jumps to $1.28B

The budget for Canada’s new flagship ocean research ship increased 28 per cent this year jumping from $995 million to $1.28 billion.

Construction of the offshore oceanographic science vessel is underway at the Seaspan Shipyards in North Vancouver, B.C., as part of the National Shipbuilding Strategy.

It will replace the decommissioned Canadian Coast Guard Ship Hudson — now at a wreckers yard — to provide scientific and ocean mapping missions in Atlantic Canada.

Islamist anti-Semitism is behind Israel’s darkest hour since the Yom Kippur war

The intelligence failure was astonishing. As Israel fell silent to observe a religious holiday, it was surprised by a massive assault that nobody had anticipated. This was as close as the Jewish state had ever come to destruction. By the end, casualties were three times higher per capita than the United States had suffered in Vietnam. This was the Yom Kippur war of exactly 50 years ago. Yet it forms a disturbingly close parallel to the catastrophe that engulfs the Jewish state today.

The Hamas Attack Changes Everything

Israel now faces extremely difficult choices.

The Hamas surprise attack on Israeli civilians changes what had been the recent rules of the game between Hamas and Israel, and it may change much more in the Middle East.

For several years, and especially in the last year, it seemed that Hamas had decided to seek calm in Gaza, where it governs, while supporting violence and terror in the West Bank. And in the West Bank, terrorist attacks increased each month. Meanwhile, Israel allowed 17,000 workers to enter Israel from Gaza each day, and there was talk of raising that number to 30,000. It seemed that there was a silent agreement between Israel and Hamas to keep things quiet in Gaza.

Naked woman paraded by jeering Hamas fighters

The naked body of a woman was paraded through the streets in the back of a pick-up truck on Saturday as Hamas fighters sat on her corpse.

A celebrating crowd surrounded the armed men in combat fatigues, who shouted “Allah Akbar” from the open back of the truck.

Some in the crowd, which included youngsters, spat on the woman’s body before the truck sped away on a day of unprecedented massacres of Israeli civilians.

No such thing as “Disproportionate response.”

Study Reveals Europe’s Middle Class Malcontents

Europe’s middle classes are increasingly dissatisfied with governing institutions and establishment political parties, while skepticism of the war effort in Ukraine is more widespread than many thought, a new study has found.

The report by the Martens Centre, the think tank of the centrist, pro-EU European People’s Party, acknowledged that mainstream parties and governments are losing support, but claimed the solution was more European integration.

“There is no denying that representative institutions and traditional political parties are in crisis. Our results only confirm that,” the study stated.

Shoot Up at IRS Nonprofit Crackhouses

The Department of Justice has spent years in litigation with Safehouse. The Philly based nonprofit wants to run a ‘crackhouse’ where addicts can use drugs under ‘supervision’.

‘Safe injection sites’ have become popular with pro-crime policymakers but, like a lot of drug-based efforts, are illegal at a federal level. The Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986 makes it a crime to “knowingly open, lease, rent, use, or maintain any place, whether permanently or temporarily, for the purpose of manufacturing, distributing, or using any controlled substance” punishable by a fine of $2 million and as much as 20 years in prison.

Don’t let Sage scientists off the hook for lockdown

This week, the UK Covid inquiry was told about the “chaotic” and “toxic” atmosphere at 10 Downing Street in the run-up to the imposition of lockdown in 2020.

Media outlets ranging from the Guardian, BBC and the Mirror jumped on striking comments made by Sir Patrick Vallance in his personal diary. These were read to the inquiry as part of a lengthy opening statement on Tuesday by the lead counsel, Hugo Keith KC.

Canada has no such inquiry. Pity.

A pogrom against Israel

We are witnessing an obscene assault on national sovereignty and the Jewish people.

The invasion of Israel by Hamas gunmen is an obscene assault on national sovereignty and the Jewish people. Details remain murky, but the facts we have are horrifying. Around 2,500 rockets have been fired from Gaza into Israel, some reaching as far as Jerusalem. Dozens of Hamas jihadists have paraglided and driven into Israeli territory. They’ve stormed villages and towns – 14 locations in total, according to Haaretz. And they’re reportedly shooting civilians. At the time of writing, Israel’s emergency services say at least 20 people are dead. ‘We are at war’, says Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Yes, you are.
