The Million Person March for Children shows that Canadians are rallying against the LGBT agenda

A wave of parental rights protests across Canada this week – the One Million Man March for Kids – highlighted a growing divide between the progressive elites and ordinary parents, including what could prove to be a politically consequential split in the coalition that the Trudeau Liberals depend on to secure and maintain power.

Is America about to send special forces into Mexico?

Growing calls for US military to tackle migrant crisis and cartels amid chaos at border

America is facing record-breaking numbers of migrants from Latin America, Africa and beyond crossing the US/Mexico border by foot and by train creating an unenviable political task for Joe Biden as he heads into election season as all sides of the political spectrum call for action.

Donald Trump has called it in an ‘invasion’ and promised military action if he is reelected and other Republican frontrunners, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, have promised to send in troops to deal with Mexico’s drug cartels while Biden’s administration continues to scramble for solutions.

In the small border city of Eagle Pass, Texas, the city’s Democratic mayor has declared a state of emergency where last week it’s thought that 100,000 people waded through the Rio Grande, the river that flows between Mexico and the US, and into the town.

Inside the shadowy Indian spy agency at the heart of Canada killing row

With his spectacles and sombre grey suit, Pavan Kumar Rai looks every inch the professional senior Indian civil servant.

His low-key, bureaucratic manner fits perfectly with the anodyne name of his employer: the Research and Analysis Wing.

Yet Mr Rai and his organisation were thrust into the spotlight this week, after explosive allegations from Justin Trudeau that India assassinated Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar on Canadian soil.

NBC poll, too: 59% of voters have “major concerns” about Biden’s mental competency

And the hits just keep a’coming’ for the man the White House media team swears can run circles around everyone. Voters see Joe Biden making circles, but are figuring out that he’s lost rather than lapping anyone. Two mainstream-media polls in a row this weekend show most voters having concerns about Joe Biden’s mental capacity, and for good reason.

No one believes Biden is running the show.

Central Bank Digital Currency: Unneeded, Unwanted, and Quite Possibly Disastrous

Amidst cryptocurrency booms and innovations in blockchain technology, governments have been showing great interest in creating their own digital monetary imprint through what is called a central bank digital currency (CBDC).

According to the Atlantic Council, a NATO-aligned think tank, the number of countries investigating a CBDC has exploded from 35 pre-COVID-19 to 130 today. China, for example, has a pilot program covering over 260 million people which allows transactions for public transit, stimulus payments, and e-commerce. Russia’s “digital ruble” went into action last month as an optional currency.

Unhoused

A shortage of affordable housing, the opioid crisis and the lingering effects of the pandemic have contributed to a rise in visible homelessness. Ten Montrealers share their stories.

At the camp where Conrad has spent the last three years of his life, everything has its place. A fuzzy red bath mat, a towel and a couple of sweaters hang on a clothesline outside his tent. A barbecue sits on top of some bookshelves. The earth has been swept with a broom and a small drainage ditch draws a circle around the tent.

“It’s a lot of work,” he says. He tries to keep the tent warm with an insulated tarp. “I’ve got my heater, my Coleman stove. It’s not hot but at least, with the tarp, the cold doesn’t really get in.”

I feel for these people but the media in this country are bound and determined to downplay any link between Trudeau’s callous mass immigration scam and the housing crisis.

Young Americans ‘strongly prefer Trump to Biden’

Alarm bells will likely ring for the White House as the US president is relying on a high youth turnout to be re-elected in 2024

Young Americans strongly prefer Donald Trump to Joe Biden in the 2024 election, a poll has found, amid persistent concerns over the US president’s age.

Mr Trump, 77, leads Mr Biden, 80, among voters under the age of 35 by 20 points in the latest poll by the Washington Post and ABC News.

Mr Trump had the support of 53 per cent of the 18 to 35-year-olds surveyed, while Mr Biden was backed by just 38 per cent.

Justin Trudeau’s muted approach to Chinese interference

In a world where political games are played in the shadows and where the echelons of power are masked by veils of duplicity, the recent public announcement by Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau about allegations of Indian involvement in the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar has rattled many. But, one must ask, why is Canada so vociferous about India while seemingly turning a blind eye to China’s mischief?

India’s media covers Trudeau better than Canadian media.

Police launch probe into Brand sexual offence claims

The Metropolitan Police says it will investigate allegations of “non-recent” sexual offences following news reports about comedian Russell Brand.

The force has received a “number of allegations of sexual offences in London” as well as elsewhere in the country, and no arrests had been made.

It follows a joint investigation by the Sunday Times, The Times and Channel 4’s Dispatches in which four women accused Brand of sexual assaults and rape.

Trudeau’s fumble on India

It is hard to imagine any world leader wanting to share the foreign policy swamp in which the beleaguered Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, currently finds himself.

Having spent the past months fighting accusations that he acted too slowly to address serious allegations that China attempted to meddle in Canada’s 2019 and 2021 elections, Trudeau’s has landed in a potentially costly diplomatic dog fight with the world’s most populous democracy, India, at exactly the time he needs Delhi the most.

Put simply, the timing couldn’t be worse.

U.S. Army Hospital in Germany Is Treating Americans Hurt Fighting in Ukraine

The Army’s Landstuhl Regional Medical Center has quietly started admitting Ukrainian Army soldiers who were wounded in combat, most of them American volunteers.

A group of Ukrainian Army soldiers pierced by Russian grenades and mortar shells arrived at a hospital recently in need of surgery. It would have been a familiar scene from the bloody war grinding on in Ukraine, except for two crucial differences: Most of the wounded soldiers were American, and so was the hospital — the U.S. Army’s flagship medical center in Germany.

The Army has quietly started to treat wounded Americans and other fighters evacuated from Ukraine at its Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Though the number so far is small — currently 14 — it marks a notable new step in the United States’ deepening involvement in the conflict.

Sikh group urges protests outside Indian embassies in Canada over Nijjar murder

A Canadian Sikh group has called on its members to protest outside the Indian diplomatic missions of main Canadian cities on Monday, a week after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau raised the prospect of New Delhi’s involvement in the murder of a Sikh separatist leader in British Columbia.

Trudeau said last week Canada was pursuing “credible allegations” that Indian government agents may be linked to the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was shot dead outside a Sikh temple on June 18 in Surrey, a Vancouver suburb with a high Sikh population.
