Conservative MPs furious after e-mails show federal officials worked on ways not to answer their questions

Federal public servants worked on ways not to answer directly opposition MPs’ parliamentary questions, admitting that doing so raised a communication risk, internal government documents obtained under access to information show.

Civil servants in the Natural Resources Department recommended the use of “limitation language” to answer the written Commons questions from Conservative and NDP MPs, internal e-mails show.

The good news is most civil service positions can be replaced by a small chip upgrade to toaster ovens.

Liberals claim Conservatives campaign in Oxford byelection was ‘racist’

Conservative campaign operatives are accusing the Liberal Party of running a “racist” campaign in the recent Oxford federal byelection, claiming slogans that highlighted winning Tory candidate Arpan Khanna’s past ties to Brampton, Ont. are an example of dog-whistle politics.

In a letter posted on LinkedIn, Hamish Marshall, a long-time Conservative strategist and pollster who ran the party’s 2019 federal election campaign, said the Oxford race was “the most disgusting, overtly racist campaign I’ve ever seen.”

If the Conservatives had campaigned in this “local” manner Justin’s MSM would be lit up for days.

The U.S. Coast Guard says debris field has been found near the Titanic during search for submersible

The U.S. Coast Guard said Thursday that an underwater vessel has located a debris field near the Titanic in the search for a missing submersible with five people aboard, a potential breakthrough in an increasingly urgent around-the-clock effort.

The Coast Guard’s post on Twitter gave no details, such as whether officials believe the debris is connected to the Titan, which was on an expedition to view the wreckage of the Titanic. The search passed the critical 96-hour mark Thursday when breathable air could have run out.

‘It turned out to be a big mistake.’ Gen Z’s trans poster-child Milo from 2016 MTV show reemerges tearfully regretting hormone jabs, hairy belly and ‘dead ovary’

Transgender Milo before mutilation

Back in 2016, Milo was celebrated in the MTV documentary Transformation, at the start of her female-to-male gender change, trying out Hawaiian shirts and saying she felt ‘invincible.’

Seven years later, and Milo has returned to the screen, as a female again, with a YouTube post about bitterly regretting a transition that’s left her scarred, hairy and most likely infertile.

‘It turned out to be a big mistake,’ Milo says in the clip, which went online on Wednesday.

Canada Bread agrees to $50M fine for stealing bread from the mouths of children

Canada Bread has agreed to pay at least $50 million for its role in fixing the price of bread for years.

The company made the revelation in an Ontario court on Wednesday, acknowledging that under a previous management regime, it colluded with its competitors in Canada’s bakery industry to work in unison to raise the wholesale prices they charge to grocery chains, pushing up prices for consumers in the process.

The company — which makes dozens of brands of baked goods, including Dempster’s, Stonemill, Vachon and others — has been owned by Mexican food giant Grupo Bimbo since 2014, but prior to that, it was majority controlled by Maple Leaf Foods.

It’s not “price fixing” it’s stealing bread from the mouths of children.

The approval, which arrived in company inboxes early this morning in the form of an official “Grant of Inspection,” clears the way for the production and marketing of an entirely new food category in the United States, and is likely to herald a sea change in how consumers and the industry think about meat.

How E-Bike Battery Fires Became a Deadly Crisis in New York City

His girlfriend told him not to buy the electric scooter.

But Alfonso Villa Muñoz was intrigued. He was working in a Brooklyn bodega last August when a delivery man said he knew someone selling one for $700. Mr. Muñoz said yes.

The scooter was cherry red with the number 7 on the front. Under the seat was an extra-large lithium ion battery. When it needed charging, Mr. Muñoz would remove the battery from the scooter and use both hands to lug it up to the couple’s third-floor apartment in College Point, Queens.

E-Bikes are a menace.
