Why the Great Reset failed

Sleazy is too kind. Every bit as slimy as we imagined.

Technocrats are getting stupider

Only a Dadaist could enjoy the news headlines these days. Rachel Reeves faces accusations of lying about the national finances to justify raising taxes to buy votes, which she has done by penalising those trying to save for their own retirement. Her efforts have also set the graduate loan repayment threshold on track to converge with national minimum wage. The same government has also seen fit to cancel a popular commuter service on the nationalised London to Manchester line, only to admit the train will still run — just without passengers.

Every week is like this. Perhaps we should be used to it by now: the weirdness began in earnest six years ago, when the first Covid cases were reported in Wuhan, China. In short order, this triggered the worldwide lockdowns that forced everyone online, with economies in freefall and cultures into a pervasive state of low-level derangement.

UN Takeover with Chaos & Crisis – Alex Newman

Award-winning journalist Alex Newman, author of the popular book “Deep State” and the new best-selling book called “Indoctrinating Our Children to Death,” has been warning of plans by the United Nations for total tyrannical control of your life. This past weekend at UN headquarters in New York City, all countries sealed the deal to hand over your freedoms to these demonic monsters. Newman explains, ” This is probably the most important story of the decade.

How you can resist the globalists’ Great Reset

The next few months, culminating in the presidential election on November 5, is a time for We the People in the USA to reset the Great Reset of the globalist elites, which is their plan to rule the world and subjugate us.

How do we stop tyranny in the United States?  Through peaceful political involvement with determination to remain in control of our own lives.

If you watched the D-Day anniversary observance on CSPAN or elsewhere, you might have seen globalists in the audience, and on stage, including Emmanuel Macron, Joe Biden, and John Kerry.

City council gets input on proposed district policy as Edmonton plans for 15-minute communities

Part of a global agenda, a boon for students and a threat to natural spaces: Edmonton’s proposed district plans drew a wide variety of opinions during public hearings at city hall Tuesday.

Council has scheduled three days of discussion on the district policy and accompanying district plans. It’s the next phase of Edmonton’s urban planning overhaul, following new zoning rules that went into effect this year, as the city prepares to grow to two million people.

More than 80 speakers have signed up.

The liberal international order is slowly coming apart

Its collapse could be sudden and irreversible

At first glance, the world economy looks reassuringly resilient. America has boomed even as its trade war with China has escalated. Germany has withstood the loss of Russian gas supplies without suffering an economic disaster. War in the Middle East has brought no oil shock. Missile-firing Houthi rebels have barely touched the global flow of goods. As a share of global gdp, trade has bounced back from the pandemic and is forecast to grow healthily this year.

Look deeper, though, and you see fragility. For years the order that has governed the global economy since the second world war has been eroded. Today it is close to collapse. A worrying number of triggers could set off a descent into anarchy, where might is right and war is once again the resort of great powers. Even if it never comes to conflict, the effect on the economy of a breakdown in norms could be fast and brutal.

Unemployment is not a mental-health problem

Vast swathes of the British workforce have been put out to pasture.

Official data published last week by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) tell a grim story of modern Britain.

The official UK unemployment figure of 1.3million, which is relatively low by recent historical standards, is only a small part of this story. The really significant figure is the huge additional number of working-age people whom the state deems incapable of working due to ill-health. This figure now sits at 2.8million, having risen by some 700,000 in the two years since the Covid pandemic. Furthermore, we’ve also learned that two-thirds of those citing ill-health as a reason for their inability to work say they are suffering specifically from mental-health problems, sometimes in combination with physical conditions. Given that 20,000 more benefits claimants citing mental ill-health are being added to the rolls each month, this proportion is only likely to grow.

Why the West’s elites invented a permacrisis

Our desperate rulers are clinging on to a dying world

War, climate change, economic stagnation, political polarisation — there seems to be no shortage of crises these days. Indeed, the situation is so perilous that the rarely hysterical Financial Times last year named “polycrisis” one of its words of the year, defining it as “a cluster of related global risks with compounding effects, such that the overall impact exceeds the sum of each part”. The concept was initially popularised by Adam Tooze and has since been endorsed even by the World Economic Forum. The UN, for what it is worth, prefers to talk of “overlapping crises”.

Global Governance Is (Almost) Here

The recent 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks should not obscure the fact that even more devastating attacks are being leveled against the United States.

There is a grand movement afoot known by different titles at the United Nations (U.N.) but generally falls under the Agenda 2030 rubric, which will change the world and eliminate our rights as Americans without so much as a whimper of dissent from our federal government.

The WEF and the Climate Cult: Colluding for a World-wide Welfare State

One should never underestimate the Left’s propensity for projecting its sins upon its victims; nor, when the Left does manage to admit the destructive effects of their regressive ideology, to proclaim these disastrous consequences as fundamental transformational and “liberation.” To avoid such a fraught misunderstanding, one must ever remember the Left perverts the purported rationale of every entity captured in their “long march” through the institutions.

To wit: The World Economic Forum (WEF).

Canada’s Climate Goals ‘Likely Not Possible’ Without Triple Non-Carbon Electricity Output, Says Report to Senate

Canada must double or triple its non-carbon electricity output to meet its 2050 net-zero emission targets, says a Newfoundland and Labrador submission to the Senate energy committee. The submission says meeting the targets is “likely not possible” without more federal subsidies.

“To achieve its goal of a net zero electricity sector by 2035 Canada will need 121 terawatt hours of new supply to replace carbon sources,” Energy NL wrote in the submission, as reported by Blacklock’s Reporter. It says this amount of electricity generation is equivalent to that of “four Churchill Falls.”

Flemish Farmers Aim To Mimic Dutch Success After Antwerp Rally

Convoys of tractors were seen on the motorway heading to the Flemish city of Antwerp this morning as approximately 1,000 farmers and assorted supporters gathered to protest government hypocrisy over the implementation of new nitrogen emission regulations, which they say will shatter their livelihoods.

This is just the latest example of agrarian discontent growing throughout Europe. The Flemish Farmers Defence Force (FDF) aims to copy the recent advances made by their Dutch counterparts with direct action against government moves to enforce new nitrogen cuts, which they feel will cripple the Belgian agricultural industry.

UN ‘Expert’ Demands Christians Comply with Leftist Ideology

A United Nations “expert” adviser on sexual orientation has issued a new report demanding that Christians comply with radical leftist ideology.

In his report, UN “expert” Victor Madrigal-Borloz expresses the idea that religious freedom is “not incompatible” with LGBT ideology.

However, a report from Washington Stand explains that compatibility comes only when faith standards are “subservient” to the sexual-political agenda embraced by LGBT organizations.

The Dutch election will be a referendum on the green agenda

EU climate commissioner Frans Timmermans, the mastermind behind so many of Brussels’s recent green policies, has this week announced his intention to run in the Dutch elections in November. This vote, outwardly routine, might be the most consequential for the EU in decades. Usually, European elections are a choice between Left-wing and Right-wing parties, but in the Netherlands, it could become a referendum on the legitimacy of the EU’s Green Deal and other environmental policies.
