Donald Trump supporters threaten gun violence over indictment

Donald Trump’s federal indictment has unleashed a wave of violent rhetoric from his supporters, creating a tinderbox atmosphere as the former president insists he is the victim of political persecution.

The frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination will appear in a Miami court on Tuesday where he will be arraigned on 37 counts related to his handling of hundreds of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate.

Woke Military Now Recruiting Non-English Speaking Migrants

“The immigrants are not immediately put in jobs that require top secret clearance.”

After transforming the military from a force defending the nation to a woke culture war operation, recruiting dropped through the floor. But, no worries, the Biden administration will fill out the ranks in the usual, “there’s always jobs at the Post Office” way by turning it into one giant useless welfare state.

This is fall of the Roman Empire stuff.

The nasty side of Pride

For a month that’s supposed to be all about love and acceptance, Pride has a pretty nasty streak. Maybe that’s what one of the mysterious colours on its indecipherable flag represents: the cruelty community.

Consider Oxfam’s Pride animation, which it tweeted out earlier this week. Alongside all the usual Pride platitudes – we must love and respect LGBTQIA+ people, the cartoon characters say – the video went in for some Terf-bashing too.

California laws fundamentally redefine the family

New bills mean that parents must ‘affirm’ a child’s gender

California has taken two further steps forward in the push to institutionalise the primacy of human desire over human flesh and human relationships.

California bill SB 729, passed in the Senate last month, redefines “infertility” not as a medical condition but a status that can be caused by an individual’s situation as much as by medical issues. Meanwhile another bill, AB 957, passed in May, has amended the state’s standard for what constitutes parental responsibility for child welfare. To be deemed fit for providing for “the health, safety, and welfare of the child,” in a court of law, parents must not merely “consider” but “affirm” a child’s chosen gender identity.

From ‘Pretendians’ To Stolen Valor: How The Left Uses Identities As Props To Push Its Agenda

It is commonplace for rabid left-wingers to publicly advertise their credentials on the hierarchy of oppression: gay, black, trans, Muslim, disabled — all of the above? — the list goes on. Yet modern American society also suffers from a strange social phenomenon where people making these claims are often exposed as liars. Why would anyone want to live as an “oppressed minority” if such people are treated so brutally by American society?

Apologists for shoplifting

No, petty crime is not a radical political act.

‘Every little helps.’ That’s the famous slogan of the UK’s largest supermarket, Tesco. Now it has been appropriated by one middle-class journalist to justify ‘cheeky’ shoplifting sprees. Apparently, the cost-of-living crisis is an excuse for thieving. According to the anonymous author writing in the Telegraph earlier this month, it is all the supermarkets’ fault anyway. They are the ones making thievery so easy, by replacing cashiers with self-service checkouts and mobile self-scanning apps.

How the Left Learned to Love the Espionage Act

After denouncing it for a century they have had a collective epiphany.

For a century after the Espionage Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by Democrat President Woodrow Wilson, our friends on the left have consistently denounced it as antithetical to democracy. They objected when it was used to jail socialist Eugene Debs in 1918 and continued to condemn the statute 55 years later when the Nixon administration deployed it against Daniel Ellsberg pursuant to the Pentagon Papers. As recently as 2013, the Guardian accused the Obama administration of McCarthyism for using this law to “persecute” whistleblower Edward Snowden.

Lauren Southern says her husband ‘who worked for the feds’ has divorced her for being a ‘career deadweight’ – as she reveals life has been ‘batsh*t’ since ban from UK for giving out leaflets saying ‘Allah is gay’

Canadian far right activist Lauren Southern has revealed her husband ‘who worked for the feds’ has divorced her for being a ‘career deadweight’.

The 27-year-old posted a YouTube video from the woods describing her ‘batsh*t’ life since she was barred from Britain for handing out leaflets saying ‘Allah is gay’ in 2018.

The David Johnston mess is Justin Trudeau’s responsibility

It was the right decision for David Johnston to resign from whatever his job was, whoever’s decision it was.

Still, amongst the things for which there will have to be a reckoning when this is all over is why he was appointed in the first place. Mr. Johnston himself never seemed to understand what he had walked into or why he should not have walked into it – to the last, in his letter of resignation, he put the opposition down to the “highly partisan atmosphere” – but the Prime Minister and his people did. They appointed him not in spite of his unsuitability, but because of it.

Michael Higgins: Justin Trudeau dismisses parental rights as ‘far right’

Globohomo – An obviously aroused Justin Trudeau abandons decorum while prancing about at a Gay Pride event.

Parental rights are now a “far right” political issue, according to Justin Trudeau.

It may be that the prime minister didn’t mean to disparage millions of parents by lumping them in with other far-right radicals like white supremacists and fascists, but that he did so speaks to his tendency to shoot from the lip.

White House Says No Plans to Invite Canada to AUKUS, a Concern for Canada’s Military

There are no plans to invite Canada to a security pact between Australia, the UK, and the United States focused on defence technology cooperation, says U.S. National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby.

The trilateral security pact, AUKUS, was formed in 2021 and has been seen as a way to counter China’s growing military presence in the Indo-Pacific region.

I suspect Canada is excluded because we are riddled with ChiCom assests.

The downfall of Prince Harry

With festival season just around the corner, it is fitting that Prince Harry’s Worldwide Privacy Tour is coming to a climax. The Duke played to a jam-packed High Court crowd last week. They were keen to hear the latest solipsistic stream-of-unconsciousness of our tormented troubadour.

For two years now, Harry has – sometimes with his wife, sometimes flying solo – bleated, neighed and whinnied in interviews, books, Netflix documentaries and talk shows. He has chased media exposure in a way that made Kim Kardashian look like Greta Garbo. Now, here was the big gig, with the world’s media outside the packed venue and helicopters hovering overhead. But would this be his Glastonbury Main Stage triumph – or his Altamont, the final demise of his credibility?
