Washington Post covers up the role of bureaucrats in making the pandemic worse

In The Daily 202: The pandemic made the loneliness crisis worse, Washington Post writer Oliver Knox (“with research by Caroline Anders”) claims that the pandemic caused loneliness to worsen. But loneliness was not caused by the pandemic. It was caused by dictatorial edicts from government officials.

No matter how many lies or evasions Fauci and CDC made up, most of the media went along. People were told they would kill people if they gathered together. Churches were closed and fined if they refused to comply with the bureaucrats’ edicts.

What We’re Learning From Pushing Back Against the Trans Crowd

The Left gins up oodles of freaks to descend on the capitols and make things as openly, obnoxiously unpleasant as they can.

You already know what’s happening. In Tennessee, the Legislature passed a bill that puts a stop to transgender surgeries for minors, and the Left went crazy. Not long after the bill passed, a biological female still living at home at 28 snapped, descending on a Christian school in a psychotic rage and killing three school staffers and three 9-year-olds before law enforcement gave her the suicide-by-cop she wanted. The shooter wrote a manifesto explaining the crime, which the police still refuse to release — a telltale sign that trans politics played a role.

The news media picked up on the Nashville massacre and immediately blamed it on the state Legislature, which led to a riot in the state capitol for … gun control.

My part in Vice’s downfall

Brash millennial upstarts were once the future of news

A decade ago, as a young war reporter for Vice News, I had the nagging feeling that one day I’d find my wizened older self, like an old NME journalist droning on about punk, reminiscing about the time when we brash millennial upstarts had the world of TV newsgathering at our feet. But I never expected it to be so soon.

The brazen entitlement of trans athletes

Cyclist Austin Killips is the latest biological male to ride roughshod over women’s sports.

Cross-dresser Austin Killips

Men who identify as women are riding roughshod over women’s sports. The latest example of this came at the weekend, in the result of the Tour of the Gila, an elite women’s cycling race in New Mexico, US. The winner was Austin Killips, a biological male who identifies as a ‘transgender woman’.

Bankrupt Black City to Pay Reparations to Itself

“Eight out of every 10 people here are due some sort of reparation.”

While the eyes of the nation are on San Francisco’s proposal to pay every black person $5 million in reparations for an estimated total cost of $175 billion, Motor City won’t be left behind.

Last year, 80% of Detroit voters in a 78% black city cast their ballots in support of a reparations commission. That was much higher than 63% poll numbers but local election results tend to outperform the polls due to the civic work of the Wayne County Cemetery Voters Association.

Men of the West, On the Cusp

This is the West. If we become the victims there is nowhere else to turn.

Tiananmen Square Watch

So here we be, again. On the cusp, I would say. Four thousand years of Western Civilization at risk. On the verge. The eve of destruction, as the song says. The best that mankind has to offer is in the balance. I say “the best” because the West has set more men free than any other iteration of civilization, and freedom is the only standard by which we have to judge ourselves for what we are, or what we are capable of becoming. Being able to comply with the dictates of others is only the standard of a slave.

Michael Chong Affair: Trudeau Says No One Ever Lets Him See Anything Important

Trudeau says he didn’t know Tory MP’s family was threatened by Beijing

OTTAWA—Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Wednesday he only found out two days ago that a Conservative MP’s family was being targeted by the Chinese government despite CSIS allegedly having a report on the subject that dates back two years.

Trudeau said the information never made its way to his desk, and he’s now issued instructions to Canada’s spy agency to ensure that never happens again.

The Globe and Mail reported Monday that security officials believed in 2021 that Beijing had targeted relatives of Wellington—Halton Hills MP Michael Chong as part of a campaign to influence Canadian politics.

Peter Shawn Taylor: Colonialism contained ‘good things as well as bad.’ Why can’t we just accept that?

Shortly before he died in 2013, Chinua Achebe — often considered Africa’s greatest novelist — was asked if his view of colonialism had changed in the half-century since he wrote Things Fall Apart, his famous first novel critical of British rule in his homeland of Nigeria. “The legacy of colonialism is not a simple one,” he explained to the interviewer, “but one of great complexity with contradictions — good things as well as bad.”

Nothing to See Here

After a suspicious internal report, a truly comprehensive and impartial investigation of Washington University’s Transgender Center is needed more than ever.

Following the explosive allegations of wrongdoing by former employee-turned-whistleblower Jamie Reed, the Washington University Transgender Center (WUTC, or the Center) at St. Louis Children’s Hospital conducted an internal investigation of its practices. In a report it released late last month, WUTC claimed that it found no evidence of serious problems. Reed’s allegations, it concluded, were “unsubstantiated.”

The alarming spread of child euthanasia

A few weeks ago the Dutch parliament announced that euthanasia will be licensed for children between the ages of one and 12, for cases involving ‘such a serious illness or disorder that death is inevitable, and the death of these children is expected in the foreseeable future’. The coverage of this latest development was eerily muted, considering the enormity of what had just been communicated; namely, that a European liberal democracy had deemed it appropriate for seriously sick infants and primary school-aged children to receive lethal injections.

Meanwhile, over in Canada, two months prior to the Netherlands’ latest decree, a parliamentary committee recommended that Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) should be extended to ‘mature minors’.
