Biden’s Israel Coup Covered Another Iran Deal Scheme

“Dangerous territory that could trigger an Israeli military strike”

When lefty administrations go after conservative Israeli governments, it’s often because they’re carrying out a preemptive strike on policy that the Israelis would otherwise oppose. The ‘New Middle East’ and the Iran Deal were class examples.

Now the Iran Deal that refuses to die, no matter how discredited it may be, is making a comeback in an even worse form.

Breakdown of Society Evident in Vancouver Stabbing Where Bystanders Did Nothing: Experts

When Paul Stanley Schmidt was stabbed to death in front of his 3-year-old daughter while standing outside a downtown Vancouver Starbucks on March 26, nobody stepped in to help. An onlooker sipped his coffee, while two bystanders filmed, one of them a TikToker who took a selfie video next to the dying man’s body.

David Haskell, an associate professor in the faculty of Liberal Arts at the Wilfred Laurier University, told The Epoch Times that this reaction is different from the so-called “bystander effect,” where individuals in a crowd freeze up because they think someone else will help the person in trouble, or because the situation is ambiguous and they’re not sure what to do.

Globetrotting green elites are a threat to democracy

A new superclass of eco-globalists is making life miserable for the rest of us.

Jacinda Ardern has been sworn into the highest political caste. She takes her place alongside the likes of John Kerry and Mark Carney as a member of the globe-trotting eco-elite. She’s been admitted to that inner circle of eco-globalists who spend their days wringing their hands over the climate apocalypse and wagging their fingers at the polluting throng.

Did heteropessimism kill the rom-com? If men are trash, how can they be love interests?

If men are trash, how can they be love interests?

Men are trash. Or at least, this is the consensus in places where single, educated, liberal, youngish women gather to lament the heterosexual state of affairs. Actually wanting to be loved by a man now represents an embarrassing shortcoming, and dating them an exercise in futility, like choosing the least-bad option from a menu on which everything is a little bit suspect. And this sentiment often takes the form of public griping about the relentless undeserving-ness of the men we can’t help but want.

State actor still main suspect behind Nord Stream sabotage, says investigator

Swedish prosecutor casts doubt over theories that independent group was responsible for pipeline blasts

The Swedish prosecutor investigating the Nord Stream sabotage attack has said the “clear main scenario” was that a state-sponsored group had been involved, seemingly casting doubt over theories that posited an independent group was responsible for the pipeline blasts.

Mats Ljungqvist told Reuters on Thursday that though a non-state-backed plot was still theoretically possible, the type of explosive used in the bombings ruled out a “large portion of actors”.

According to a UN report, the three underwater explosions that ruptured the gas link between Russia and Germany north-east and south-east of the Baltic Sea island of Bornholm on 26 September 2022 were equivalent to the power of several hundred kilograms of explosives.

Inside the Battle of Bakhmut, where troops are dying by the thousand

Desperate tactics used by both sides to secure a crucial victory in the city are taking a mental toll on soldiers

At Ukraine’s military academies, they still teach the doctrines of Georgy Zhukov, the celebrated Soviet general, whose victory at Stalingrad reversed the fortunes of the Second World War.

But they are taught about him as an example of what not to do. Given that the focus of the present war in Europe, the Battle of Bakhmut, is being described as Ukraine’s Stalingrad, that is a gamble of which the academies’ recruits are only too aware.

“We are taught many ways of how not to fight,” said Second Lieutenant Roman, an open-faced 23-year-old, freshly commissioned into the Ukrainian army’s 80th brigade. “We aren’t taught so many ways of how we are supposed to do it.”

David Johnston given broad powers to probe foreign interference in Canada’s elections

Former governor-general David Johnston will be given broad powers to investigate foreign interference in Canada and paid around $1,500 a day over the course of his probe, which follows Globe and Mail reporting on Chinese government meddling in this country’s elections.

Mr. Johnston will be empowered to “review any classified or unclassified records and documents, including, where necessary in their estimation, records protected by cabinet confidence,” the government said in a statement on Thursday detailing his role as special rapporteur.

Johnston is a member in good standing of Canada’s China Class, he’s already a sell-out like Justin.
