“Extremist” Germans Fleeing Multicultural Cities

The state intelligence chief in Saxony, one of the former states of the German Democratic Republic, has labeled Germans seeking to escape the multiculturalism of big cities for the more tranquil countryside ‘right-wing extremists.’

Dirk-Martin Christian, the president of the Saxon Office for the Protection of the Constitution (LfV)—the East German state’s domestic intelligence agency—smeared those fleeing the “multicultural life” of large urban areas in search of an “intact national community” in more “remote areas” as radical extremists, the Berlin-based newspaper Die Welt reports.

Canada needs to take Chinese threat seriously

This past week, disturbing revelations were made painstakingly clear to Canadians: the People’s Republic of China and its intelligence apparatus threaten our nation’s security and our democracy.

On the evidence, the authoritarian dictatorship in Beijing has interfered in our elections to the benefit of Trudeau’s Liberals and the detriment of Canada’s democratic foundations. While their tactics demonstrate a blatant disrespect for our way of life, they also show our inability to respond effectively.

Russia stares into population abyss as Putin sends its young men to die

Sending waves of soldiers onto the battlefield, compounded by emigration, will hasten Russia’s birth rate decline

Dmitry Nechaev bought a one-way ticket from Moscow to Tel Aviv a year ago.

Two days into Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, the 38-year-old businessman abandoned his apartment in the Russian capital and travelled to Israel, leaving his wife, children and dog behind.

Within days, Visa and Mastercard suspended their services in Russia, blocking his cards and preventing him from buying plane tickets for his family. His wife had already got rid of many of their belongings in a fire sale, including their country house and camper van in a bid to raise cash quickly.

Ethnicity fakers and the end of identity politics

Soul Man – Justin Trudeau’s Favourite Movie

Our tortured efforts to eliminate racism render us as absurd as ever

No question, 1989’s Back to the Future: Part II had incredible foresight, with a plot in which the bully Biff becomes a political tyrant — allegedly modelled on one Donald Trump. But when it came to predicting the future, a different Eighties film did better. If you’ve never heard of Soul Man, that’s not a surprise: this 1986 comedy about a white teenager who blacks up in order to blag a Harvard scholarship for African-Americans was deemed so offensive, even back then, that it damaged the careers of pretty much everyone involved. And yet it has proven astonishingly prescient.

Cut ties with Israel but partner with Iran, China and Cuba- woke hypocrisy at work

Ah, what a wonderful woke world we inhabit. Consistency? Morality? No, just plain hypocritical antisemitism.

The mayor of Barcelona has severed her city’s ties with Israel, accusing the Jewish state of “the crime of apartheid against the Palestinian people”. Ada Colau’s decision puts an end to the 25-year twinning with Tel Aviv.
First there was the decision of the third largest city in the country, Valencia, to embrace the boycott of Israel by proclaiming itself an “Apartheid-Free Zone”. The leader of the ruling Podemos party, Pablo Iglesias, called the Jewish State a “criminal and illegal country”.

Then the city of Oviedo, capital of Asturias, canceled the concert of the Israeli Netanya Symphony Orchestra, citing “political reasons”.

The Cadiz City Council had already canceled an Israeli film festival.

Alex Murdaugh trial: Power, privilege, murder and the downfall of a dynasty

In the fifth week of his murder trial, Alex Murdaugh took the stand.

Over nearly 10 hours testifying in his own defence, the crowded courtroom in Walterboro, South Carolina, would see two versions of Mr Murdaugh. One seemed tired, his voice lilting and thin. His clothes hung loose; months in prison had whittled down his formerly heavy frame. He rocked back and forth, shook his head from side to side, and wept.

The other seemed much more like the man that other witnesses had described – savvy and charming, once a formidable player in the state’s clubby legal circuit. This Mr Murdaugh addressed the jury directly, was relaxed and in control.

“What a tangled web we weave,” he told them.

This was one creepy family with a new rumour that the sons beat a local boy to death for fun.

China Crosses “Red Line” Advancing Russia’s War Effort

It has been known for quite a while that China has been undercutting Western sanctions against Russia through trade and Chinese purchases of long-term energy supplies.

Twenty days before the invasion of Ukraine, Russia and China declared a “no-limits” partnership, and have steadily been increasing trade with each other ever since — and in their own national currencies. When, however, it was recently reported that “China is providing technology that Moscow’s military needs,” including “navigation equipment, jamming technology and jet-fighter parts,” the move seemed to take the Biden administration by surprise.

New Orleans recall organizers say they have the support to oust mayor of this murder capital

NEW ORLEANS – Organizers seeking to recall New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell from office said they collected enough signatures to put the city leader’s second term at risk.

“Right now our mayor doesn’t love New Orleans so the citizens and the residents stood up,” Eileen Carter, vice chair of the No LaToya recall campaign, told Fox News. “We’re taking our city back, and we’re gonna save New Orleans.”

Behold Toronto in a few short years.

Western Sanctimony Drives Global South Away From Supporting Ukraine

Most of the non-Western world declares neutrality between Russia and U.S.

Surprised that governments across the so-called Global South aren’t interested in allied posturing over the Russo-Ukraine war? Imperious Western officials assumed they were leading the world against Moscow’s aggression, only to turn around and find no one behind them.

Reported the New York Times: “Instead of cleaving in two, the world has fragmented. A vast middle sees Moscow’s invasion as, primarily, a European and American problem. Rather than view it as an existential threat, these countries are largely focused on protecting their own interests amid the economic and geopolitical upheaval caused by the invasion.”

Go woke get ignored.
