SBF could be locked up if he continues encryption use, judge declares

A Manhattan federal judge on Thursday suggested he’d lock disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried up pending trial if the accused fraudster continues to improperly use electronic devices while out on bail.

Judge Lewis Kaplan asked federal prosecutors and Bankman-Fried’s attorneys why he should allow the alleged crypto crook to return to his parents’ California house, where he’d be surrounded by unmonitored electronic devices.

He’s displayed enough arrogance to be stupid.

‘Freedom Convoy’ trial needs judge from outside Ottawa, Crown says

OTTAWA—The Crown wants an out-of-town judge to preside over the criminal trial of two main “Freedom Convoy” organizers, as one of them argues his charges should be stayed because the disclosure of a huge volume of cellphone records violated his rights to privacy and a fair trail.

The application for a judge from outside the capital — where convoy protesters staged a three-week occupation to denounce COVID-19 health measures last year — is meant to ensure there is no risk of “unconscious” bias in the case, said Dallas Mack, the deputy Crown attorney at the Ottawa courthouse.

Father killed by ‘violent chicken’

A grandfather was killed by his violent chicken that previously attacked a child, an inquest in Ireland has heard.

Cancer survivor Jasper Kraus, who was living near Ballinasloe at the time, was killed on April 28 last year after he was attacked by a Brahma chicken.

The 67-year-old Dutchman, formerly from The Hague, Netherlands, suffered a heart attack after the bird drove its spur into his leg, causing him to lose litres of blood.

Trudeau pledges more help for Haiti, stops short of suggesting military intervention

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced a slate of new supports for Haiti in the Bahamas on Thursday including humanitarian aid and some naval vessels to help with surveillance.

But he stopped short of proposing the kind of military force its de facto prime minister is asking for, as experts urge him to put the brakes on growing discussions of foreign intervention.

Trudeau told a meeting of 20 Caribbean Community leaders that Canada will provide $12.3 million in new humanitarian assistance for the crisis-torn country and $10 million for the International Office on Migration to support migrants in the region.

I am not certain our combat trannies could best the Haitian gangs.

15-minute cities are only the latest front in the war on cars

Municipal planning documents are typically only of interest to bureaucrats, developers wondering how the city’s going to make their lives more difficult, NIMBYs looking for ways to scuttle development and retirees with too much time on their hands. But a City of Edmonton planning document from a couple years ago has managed to take on a life of its own.

(Radiological) War by Other Means: A Dirty Bomb in Ukraine?

Fear is mightier than the sword, and few things stoke fear like a dirty bomb. So, it should have come as no surprise when Russia accused Ukraine of building a radiological dispersal device (RDD), possibly setting the stage for a false-flag attack. By manipulating widespread fear of radioactivity, such a device is a potent weapon of terror, and Russia has transformed it into an instrument of “war by other means.” To manage this, relevant chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) doctrine must also shift to emphasize public information and crisis recovery.

Great Salt Lake’s retreat poses a major fear: poisonous dust clouds

To walk on to the Great Salt Lake, the largest salt lake in the western hemisphere which faces the astounding prospect of disappearing just five years from now, is to trudge across expanses of sand and mud, streaked with ice and desiccated aquatic life, where just a short time ago you would be wading in waist-deep water.

But the mounting sense of local dread over the lake’s rapid retreat doesn’t just come from its throttled water supply and record low levels, as bad as this is. The terror comes from toxins laced in the vast exposed lake bed, such as arsenic, mercury and lead, being picked up by the wind to form poisonous clouds of dust that would swamp the lungs of people in nearby Salt Lake City, where air pollution is often already worse than that of Los Angeles, potentially provoking a myriad of respiratory and cancer-related problems.

This would never have happened if Donny & Marie stayed together.

Poll: Less Than Half Of Americans Support Shipping Our Weapons To Ukraine

As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine nears its one-year anniversary on Feb. 24, many Americans’ patience is wearing thin. A new poll by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found that American support for shipping weapons and tax dollars off to Ukraine is declining.

Less than half of Americans, 48 percent, now say they favor the U.S. providing weapons to Ukraine, with 29 percent opposed and 22 percent neither in favor nor opposed. This is a decline from May 2022, when less than three months into the conflict 60 percent of U.S. adults were in favor of sending weapons to Ukraine.

Fauci comes clean: We knew the Covid vaccine was never going to work

WHAT if Dr Anthony Fauci co-authored an article on vaccines that would have got you and me blocked and banned at any point in the past three years? That’s just happened.

His article in Cell, ‘Rethinking next-generation vaccines for coronaviruses, influenzaviruses, and other respiratory viruses‘, states it as plainly as possible: the Covid-19 vaccine didn’t work because it couldn’t work.

First, some review from what we knew before this whole fiasco began.

US colonel accuses George Soros of being a ‘shadow national security advisor in the White House’

‘George Soros is frequently mentioned as the shadow national security advisor in the White House these days, and Mr. Zelensky also owes a great deal to George Soros, along with other oligarchs, for his position.’

Retired U.S. Colonel Douglas Macgregor, a security advisor for the Secretary of Defense under Donald Trump, recently addressed the influence billionaire George Soros has over the Biden administration, describing the left-wing megadonor as a “shadow national security advisor in the White House.”

In the beginning of the February 13 interview, the West Point graduate and author described the current situation in Ukraine as one which can largely be traced back to the West’s provocation of Russia by the toppling of Ukraine’s pro-Russian government in 2014 and replacing it with a pro-American, Western allied regime — a point Macgregor touched upon in an exclusive interview he gave to LifeSiteNews late last year.

Nolte: Woke Disney Admits Failure with Cutbacks on Marvel, ‘Star Wars’ Output

The child abusers and groomers at Disney are in so much trouble they have announced cutbacks on their Marvel and Star Wars content output.

Why is that news? Because Marvel and Stars Wars represent Disney’s most popular IPs. But now they have to cut back because the glut of products being released are almost universally awful, so awful they have 1) failed to boost the Disney+ subscriber base much and 2) are hurting the brands.

In the West, a burned Koran gets more media than burned children

Is a child shot or burned alive worth less today than a copy of the Hadith burned in a square? The cowardly West seems to think so.

It’s always the same scene: a village and humble houses surrounded by open fields, Muslim terrorists appearing in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep, breaking down doors and shouting “Allahu Akbar”, killing, raping and mutilating women and children on sight, setting fire to churches and houses. Only because they are Christians.

Nigerian Archbishop Matthew Man-oso Ndagoso said that his faithful are being killed “like chickens”. In another country, a bishop reveals: “Catholics are killed in hospital beds”. Yet all these masses of persecuted are not trendy enough to merit the mobilization of the beautiful western people. Those murdered are not even worth the time of the hashtag #savechristians. They don’t move the Western cyber public as much as does a Libyan migrant, males who call themselves women or a Koran burned in a Swedish square…

The FBI’s Catholic Canard

The bureau withdraws a document warning about ‘radical-traditionalist’ believers.

House Republicans are accusing the Federal Bureau of Investigation of political bias, and the bureau certainly isn’t helping its own defense. See its retraction of a field-office report lumping some “traditionalist” Catholics with “violent extremists” and calling for government investigation.

A whistleblower last week leaked a January report from the FBI’s Richmond office entitled: “Interest of Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremists in Radical-Traditionalist Catholic Ideology Almost Certainly Presents New Mitigation Opportunities.”

I believe the time has passed when calls to dismantle the FBI could be passed off as “fringe.”

What in the Haight-Ashbury Is Going on in San Francisco?

Even in San Francisco, tolerance for sanctuary laws has reached its limit.

For the last few decades, a cabal of far-left groups have been on a mission to normalize a witch’s brew of radical public policy ideas and get a majority of Americans to accept them. This effort has been far more successful than even its advocates could have imagined, and the results can be seen throughout society, to the country’s detriment.

The problem with this mission is that reality inevitably crashes the party. Once they are implemented, such ideas are not sustainable by the laws of economics and human nature. Such is the case with sanctuary laws, which may have been popular theories when they were conceived in faculty lounges and think tanks, but only yield crime and chaos in practice.
