Canadian Armed Forces reservist who equated COVID-19 vaccinations with ‘murder’ pleads guilty to misconduct

“It will come out the truth and you don’t want to be on that side of the fence when you have killed or actually murdered innocent people,” Ladislas Kenderesi said at an anti-lockdown protest in 2020.

A Canadian Armed Forces reservist was fined $4,200 and will receive a “severe reprimand” after pleading guilty on Thursday to a misconduct charge for urging military personnel not to distribute COVID-19 vaccines, which he linked to murder.

The charge of “conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline” against Officer Cadet Ladislas Kenderesi, 60, relates to comments he made to the crowd at an anti-lockdown protest in downtown Toronto in December 2020 while in full uniform. The comments were captured on videos posted to the internet.

The Gasht-e Ershad (Guidance Patrols) are special police units tasked with ensuring the respect of Islamic morals and detaining people who are perceived to be “improperly” dressed.

Under Iranian law, which is based on the country’s interpretation of Sharia, women are obliged to cover their hair with a hijab (headscarf) and wear long, loose-fitting clothing to disguise their figures.

“Brooklyn Man” Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for Jihadist-Inspired Attack on New York City Police Department Officers

Earlier today, in federal court in Brooklyn, Dzenan Camovic was sentenced by United States District Judge Rachel P. Kovner to 30 years in prison for the robbery of a New York City Police Department (NYPD) officer’s firearm and discharging that firearm at several NYPD officers during the course of the robbery. Camovic, who was inspired by terrorism, is a Bosnian citizen illegally in the United States. He will be deported after completing his sentence. He is also scheduled to be sentenced in state court in Brooklyn today to state charges arising out of the same conduct.

Survivors of the 2016 Bastille day attack in Nice have described how the seafront was turned into a “war zone” when a gunman drove a heavy truck at high speed into the crowd gathered to watch fireworks in the French Riviera city.

“It was war, people were crushed, I saw a woman being run down with a baby in her arms,” said Abdallah Kebaïer, a retired maintenance worker, who was catapulted into the air by the truck and suffered seven broken ribs, head trauma and injuries to his liver and pancreas.

Dumb: Conservative MPs call for freelance journalist to be booted from press gallery after tweet

 

Conservative MPs are calling for the removal of a freelance reporter from the parliamentary press gallery after he tweeted a comment they say risked provoking violence against politicians.

The issue spilled out of a moment during question period on Wednesday when Conservative MP Garnett Genuis quoted the band Queen while asking a question about inflation. The Queen reference was a dig at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who was spotted singing Bohemian Rhapsody with members of the Canadian delegation last weekend ahead of Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.

This is cringe worthy.

Iran blocks capital’s internet access as Amini protests grow

Iran has shut off the internet in parts of Tehran and Kurdistan, and blocked access to platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp, in an attempt to curb a growing protest movement that has relied on social media to document dissent.

The protests, which were sparked on 16 September after the death of a 22-year-old Kurdish woman in police custody, show no sign of subsiding. On Thursday, protesters torched police stations and vehicles in several cities.
