Ben & Jerry’s loses bid to halt sales in West Bank
A US judge on Monday rejected Ben & Jerry’s attempt to stop its parent Unilever Plc ULVR.L from allowing its ice cream to be sold in the West Bank, which Ben & Jerry’s said undermined its values.
US District Judge Andrew Carter in Manhattan said Ben & Jerry’s did not deserve an injunction to halt ice cream sales and marketing because it did not show it would suffer irreparable harm, or that customers would be confused.

This same GNL signed agreements with three Chinese labs, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), that gave China the power to destroy “secret files, materials and equipment, without any backups. “The agreements applied to “all cooperation and exchange documents, data, details and materials,” were renewable every five years, and the confidentiality terms remaining in force even after termination.

The migrant, from Guinea, allegedly attacked the 55-year-old Ukrainian woman as she walked along a street in the northern city of Piacenza at around 6am on Sunday.

Ottawa axes funding for racist “anti-racism” project over ‘vile’ tweets by consultant
Diversity Minister Ahmed Hussen says the government has cut funding to an anti-racism project over “reprehensible and vile” tweets by a senior consultant involved in the strategy.
Hussen says the project helmed by the Community Media Advocacy Centre – which received $133,000 from the Heritage Department – has been suspended.

The university students at University of California Berkeley’s Person of Color (POC) Theme House love their rules. And they’re not pretty.
As Friday’s Daily Mail and Saturday’s Fox & Friends reported, this residence’s directives include this: “Many POC members moved here to be able to avoid white violence and presence, so respect their decision of avoidance if you bring white guests.”
Another instruction states, “Always announce guests in the [house’s] Guest Chat if they will be in common spaces with you and if they are white.”

Caught a break. I chipped a front tooth on the weekend, well actually it was more like the tooth decided it had enough of this world and was slowly offing itself.
A filling fell out late last year, a chunk at the back fell out last month and on Saturday a big chunk at the side decided to separate. The cosmetics were awful.
The tooth is very thin and that was the cause of my concern. Much had been excavated at the back. Felt real weird.
I spent the weekend researching possible fixes and given that my default setting is ‘catastrophic thinking’ I was easily able to convince myself that a tooth implant was the only possible solution or maybe if God smiled upon me I could get away with a veneer.
After a few phone calls it was off to the Emergency Dentist.
Thankfully the Doc said neither a veneer nor an implant would be required.
The bonding process used, assuming a reasonable standard of hygiene, should last many years.
Yay! And Yay also to having Toronto’s only 24 hour Emergency Dentist a couple of blocks away.
