Freeland floats scam to help Oligarch pals mitigate sanctions imposed during Ukraine “live armaments sales expo”

Don’t forget that the PMO had the press make up feel good stories about  Nazi Freeland when this photo went viral.

Western countries considering whether to let Russian oligarchs buy relief from sanctions

Western allies are considering allowing Russian oligarchs to buy their way out of sanctions and using the money to rebuild Ukraine, according to government officials familiar with the matter.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland proposed the idea at a G7 finance ministers’ meeting in Germany last week.

Freeland raised the issue after oligarchs spoke to her about it, one official said. The minister knows some Russian oligarchs from her time as a journalist in Moscow.

The official said the Ukrainians were aware of the discussions. The official said it’s also in the West’s interests to have prominent oligarchs disassociate themselves from Russian President Vladimir Putin, while at the same time providing funding for Ukraine.

So Freeland  is working a scam to help out her Oligarch pals, lovely, I bet citizenship is on the table.

The “Neutral trade” in oil and gas between alleged adversaries was reason enough but I’ve held my nose till now. However this scam seals it and I will no longer support Canada’s efforts in support of the Ukraine.  NATO unity is a sham and Europe is not worth defending, a billion Russia bound Euros a day is all I need to know.

Whatever this “live armaments sales expo” is about it ain’t Ukraine. The whole damn thing is a sham.

Swedish would-be ISIS fighters jailed after recruitment sting

Two Swedish brothers have been sentenced to jail for eight months after their efforts to join ISIS unravelled when their recruiter was revealed as an undercover intelligence officer.

The men, who have not been identified, were arrested in February at Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport as they tried to leave Sweden to join the combat ranks of the terrorist group.

Prosecutors produced 200 pages of messages passed to them by an unidentified foreign intelligence agency, which revealed how the pair were seeking a fighting role with ISIS.

Brooklyn man convicted of backing ISIS by recruiting members, smuggling guns

Mirsad Kandic, 40, was found guilty of conspiracy and providing material support to ISIS Tuesday after a three-week trial in Brooklyn federal court. He faces up to life in prison at his sentencing on Nov. 9.

Kandic is responsible for recruiting thousands of Westerners to fight in Syria and the Middle East, including Australian teenager and suicide bomber Jake Bilardi, who killed himself, more than 30 Iraqi soldiers and a policeman in Ramadi, Iraq, on March 11, 2015, officials allege.

France charges 18-yr-old over ISIS attack plot: Judicial source

French authorities have charged an 18-year-old man on suspicion of planning an imminent terror attack with a knife in the name of ISIS extremists, a judicial source said on Wednesday.

Initial investigations indicated that he planned to carry out a terror attack “in the name of ISIS, to which he had pledged allegiance,” said the source, who asked not to be named.

Does Anyone Really Believe in This Transgender Stuff?

But really, does anyone honestly believe that men can become women or vice-versa? Honestly, I would say that while there are plenty of people who claim to be LGBT allies and just love to virtue-signal their tolerance with pride flags, masks, and stickers, only a tiny fraction of them genuinely believe that “men can get pregnant” or that “trans women are women,” etc.

The cold logic behind Russia’s crude, nihilistic tactics in Ukraine

Russia’s offensive in the Donbas region is making slow progress. Having rushed to launch the operation to avoid giving Ukraine time to bring up new weapons from the west, Russia has found that its depleted and exhausted units are unwilling and unable to assault Ukrainian positions without incurring unacceptable losses. The Russian army has, therefore, fallen back on the mass application of artillery, destroying village after village, which they occupy after Ukrainian units withdraw.

Aaron Wudrick: Elites’ attacks on Pierre Poilievre only make him stronger

There’s a general consensus that Pierre Poilievre is the front-runner in the Conservative party leadership race. Whether you’re a Conservative (or conservative) or not, and whether you support Poilievre or not, everything from the size of the crowds at his events, to the traction of his social media messages to opinion polling suggest he’s the man to beat.

Duke professor under fire for refusing to attend ‘Maoist’ diversity training

A professor at the Duke University School of Medicine is under fire after he blasted a mandatory equity training as “Maoist political propaganda” and refused to attend.

The True Evil of the World Economic Forum

Whenever I listen to Klaus Schwab and his Davos Death Cult buddies openly discuss their plans for world domination, I always think, “Are we really going to let another power-hungry German walk us into global conflagration?”  For a while there, I believed that Western allies had endured enough death and slaughter from the first two world wars to forge an informal understanding among themselves that uncontrolled German megalomania invariably leads to malignant outcomes for all.  Then came German reunification, and the nation’s inevitable economic dominance over all of Europe assured its status as the most powerful member of the European Union.  All that effort to constrain the German empire’s influence went up in smoke.  It turns out that it is far easier to conquer the European continent with flowery promises of “peace,” “economic integration,” and “international cooperation” than it is to send jackbooted shock troops marching past the Arc de Triomphe and down the Champs-Élysées.

CDC Releases Numbers Showing BLM is Killing Black Kids

The media is pushing this misleading CDC press release because it fits the gun control agenda after the latest school shooting.

Firearms were the leading cause of death for kids one and older for the first time in 2020, the most recent year for which CDC data is available.

Why it matters: The firearm death rate among children is steadily rising, as more kids are involved in gun-related homicides like Tuesday’s mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas, as well as suicides and accidents.

Yeah, no.

Is Europe’s far-Right always wrong?

Liberals shouldn’t scorn unlikely political alliances

“In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t about Putin’s attack against Ukraine… It is about democracy, sovereignty — fundamentals like freedom of speech and human rights. It is about Western democracies’ ability to stand up for themselves and the values they’re built on.”

This may sound like the words of a liberal internationalist. But they come from Jimmie Åkesson, leader of the anti-immigration, Right-wing populist party, the Sweden Democrats. In the past he has equivocated when asked whether he preferred Putin to Emmanuel Macron or Joe Biden. But four days after the onset of Russia’s invasion, speaking to Sweden’s parliament, his tone was unflinching.

The Sussmann Trial Is a Window on Comey’s Clown Show

It shows the FBI’s top brass to be partisan dolts.

The Michael Sussmann trial has shed light on the partisan clown show James Comey ran at the FBI. The trial so far is not an indictment of the FBI’s little fish — the nonpartisan agents in the trenches who suspected Sussmann’s Trump-Russia yarn was nonsense — but the big fish, Comey’s liberal leadership on the 7th floor of the FBI. It has come out in the trial that an FBI supervisor wrote a lower agent: “People on the 7th floor to include Director are fired up about this server” — a reference to Sussmann’s claim that a secret channel existed between the Trump Organization and a Kremlin-linked bank.

The year of the graves: How the world’s media got it wrong on residential school graves

The coverage triggered protests, church arsons and condemnation from Canada’s bad-faith rivals, but last summer’s reporting on the country’s long-acknowledged historic shame had little to do with what happened.

This is how it all began, a year ago this week: ‘Horrible History’: Mass Grave of Indigenous Children Reported in Canada. On May 28, 2021, that’s how the New York Times headlined the first of a summer-long series of gruesome “discoveries” that precipitated a descent into paroxysms of shame, guilt and rage that swept across the country.

Distressing videos show parents begging cops to stop Texas school shooting

Harrowing videos captured the heartbreaking wails of parents begging cops to “Go protect the kids!” during the Texas school shooting — with some suggesting they “just rush” the school themselves.

The livestreamed footage captured the unbearable anguish as parents rushed to Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, where deranged gunman Salvador Ramos, 18, was inside for up to an hour as he killed 19 kids and two teachers.

‘The police were doing nothing’: Uvalde police handcuffed and pepper-sprayed parents, who urged them to storm the school, including the dad of a murdered girl and a mom-of-two who got free, jumped a fence and rescued her kids herself

Uvalde police are facing new criticism over first-hand accounts and videos showing them handcuffing and restraining frantic parents, who were urging them to storm the Robb Elementary school building amid the massacre.

‘The police were doing nothing,’ Angeli Rose Gomez told the Wall Street Journal. ‘They were just standing outside the fence. They weren’t going in there or running anywhere.’

Gomez has two children in second and third grade and she reportedly drove 40 miles to the school after hearing of the attack.

Texas cops reveal there was NO armed guard on campus when gunman walked through unlocked door with his AR-15: First officers on scene retreated when he opened fire on them then waited an HOUR for SWAT

Texas cops have revealed that there was no armed guard on campus when the gunman arrived on Tuesday which allowed him to walk ‘unobstructed’ through an unlocked door and into the building where he slaughtered 21 people.

At a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Victor Escalon, the Regional Director for the Department of Public Safety South Texas, said Salvador Ramos walked through an unlocked door ‘unobstructed’ and that there was no guard ‘readily available’.

It contradicts earlier reports that he fired at a school resource officer.

Trudeau signals new gun-control changes coming; here’s what the Liberals have promised

In the wake of a horrific mass shooting at an elementary school in Texas, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has signalled that the Canadian government will be moving ahead on new gun-control measures “in the coming weeks.”

In previous Parliaments, the Liberals have made changes to Canada’s gun laws, including strengthening background check requirements and banning more than 1,500 models and variants of “assault-style” firearms. And, while some elements of their plans have still yet to come to fruition—including their proposed mandatory gun buyback program—in the 2021 federal election, Trudeau promised to go further.
