Russia ‘using weapons smuggled by Iran from Iraq against Ukraine’

Russia is receiving munitions and military hardware sourced from Iraq for its war effort in Ukraine with the help of Iranian weapons smuggling networks, according to members of Iranian-backed Iraqi militias and regional intelligence services with knowledge of the process.

RPGs and anti-tank missiles, as well as Brazilian-designed rocket launcher systems, have been dispatched to Russia from Iraq as Moscow’s campaign has faltered in the last month, the Guardian has learned.

An Iranian-made Bavar 373 missile system, similar to the Russian S-300, has also been donated to Moscow by the authorities in Tehran, who also returned an S-300, according to a source who helped organise the transport.

Patrick Brown vows in video to end Canada’s ‘terrorist’ designation for Tamil Tigers

OTTAWA—Conservative leadership candidate Patrick Brown says he will “lift the ban” on a designated terrorist organization known as the Tamil Tigers, open up immigration to “any Tamil family that wants to come to Canada” and, as prime minister, would apologize for Canada’s failure to help Tamil refugees as it has Ukrainians or the Vietnamese boat people.

In a short video viewed by the Star, the Brampton mayor appeals to Tamil community representatives, telling them that he needs their “help” in order to win the leadership of the federal Conservative party, because the people he has to beat “are the same people who put the ban on” the Tamil Tigers.

What a slime.

Multiple people shot in Brooklyn subway stop during rush hour

WTF? Update

Update: Extensive search for gunman in Brooklyn subway shootings, what we know so far

According to a situation report issued to law enforcement at 10:41 am by DHS/CISA and obtained by ABC News: “The NYPD has informed the feds that police have a description of the suspect and have shared it with searchers. And that “investigators assess this was a coordinated attack, but the motive remains unclear.”

Multiple people were shot Tuesday morning in a gruesome shooting in a Brooklyn subway station during rush hour, officials said.

The bloody incident broke out around 8:30 a.m. at the 36th Street station for the D, N, R lines in Sunset Park.

Clair, a straphanger who witnessed the event while riding the Manhattan-bound N train, told The Post there were so many rounds fired off she “lost count.”

She said she saw the man — who was described as a 5-foot-5 black man, around 170 pounds wearing an orange vest and gas mask — drop “some kind of cylinder that sparked at the top.”

There may have been home made explosives involved, this is looking more like a terrorist incident than a mass shooting at this point.

Boston Imam: America Is a ‘Terrible Place,’ Unlike Sudan and Afghanistan

Abdullah Faaruuq is the imam of Mosque Praise Allah in Boston, and while one would think that a man who has dedicated his life to spiritual pursuits and has a congregation to which he can minister would be at peace and content with his existence, Abdullah Faaruuq is not a happy man. He lives in the United States of America, you see, and while millions of his coreligionists would happily cross our porous Southern border and throw themselves upon the tender mercies of Old Joe Biden’s handlers in order to get here, and many are actually doing so, Abdullah Faaruuq is not pleased to be in what was once known as the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. He would rather be any number of other places, where Allah’s sun shines on those who conform their behavior to his immutable and ineffable will.

The Debasement of our Professional and Political Classes

Leftist professionals in politics, government, and private enterprise debased themselves for short-term political gain, or in furor at their bogeyman Trump, or in anger at the unwashed.

The left-wing professional and political classes bequeathed a number of new protocols during the Trump derangement years. And it will be interesting to watch whether the Republicans abide by them in November should they take back the House and perhaps the Senate—and the presidency in 2024 as well.

Will they follow the New Testament’s turn-the-other-cheek forbearance, or go for Old Testament style eye-for-an-eye retribution?

How Spotify Is Pushing To Abolish Police and Prisons

Spotify’s Abolition X podcast pushes far-left policies, labels America ‘white supremacist’ state

A Spotify original podcast featuring Black Lives Matter cofounder and “trained Marxist” Patrisse Cullors calls for abolishing police and prisons, labels America a “white supremacist” state, and contends that the severely mentally ill are actually “shamans” and “spiritual guides.”

Spotify launched Abolition X, which “focuses on alternatives to police, jails, and punishment,” in February. And while the podcast is chock-full of anti-police and anti-prison rhetoric, it “isn’t just about getting rid of police and prisons,” Spotify said in a press release. Indeed, hosts Vic Mensa, Indigo Mateo, and Richie Reseda—and their guests—often wade into other topics.

Ukraine: Pro-Russia demonstrations spark outrage in Germany

Pro-Russia protesters rallied for a second day in Germany on Sunday, demanding an end to discrimination against the country’s large Russian-speaking population since the conflict in Ukraine erupted.

Around 600 people marched in the financial hub, Frankfurt, with many waving Russian flags.

A similar-sized demo took place in the northern city of Hanover, police said, accompanied by a convoy of 350 cars.

However, the start was delayed because authorities ruled that the vehicles’ bonnets could not be covered by flags.

Radical environmental group calls on activists to DEFLATE tires of SUVs in ‘wealthy areas’ to combat climate change

A environmental group is suggesting to its followers that they let the air out of the tires of SUV’s in an attempt to combat climate change.

The group known as Adbusters, which describes itself as ‘a global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators and entrepreneurs who want to advance the new social activist movement of the information age,’ tweeted instructions explaining step-by-step how to deflate the wheels of the gas-guzzling vehicles.

Why Putin’s invasion failed

Tactical incompetence doomed it from the start

Nothing was more predictable about this most predictable of wars than the certain failure of Putin’s Coup de Main invasion to seize Kyiv and conquer Ukraine in one fell swoop. And yet its success was confidently predicted by Russia’s FSB domestic security service, which, instead of the SVR foreign intelligence, was given the task of sustaining the fiction that Ukraine is Russian.

The Biggest Scandal in Canadian History

The radical left in Canada is being exposed, and the mainstream media is ignoring it.

When the Freedom Convoy protesters were in Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the cabinet and the mainstream media told Canadians that the protesters were funded by Russians, dark money, Donald Trump supporters and foreigners. Canadians were told protesters committed violence, rapes, threats of rape, attempted arson and other crimes. The Freedom Convoy was marked as a national security threat and accused of terrorism and insurrection.

All of this has been proved false. All of the supposed evidence to support the invocation of the Emergencies Act and give Trudeau extraordinary wartime powers was a lie.

‘Draft dodgers’ belie Ukrainian message of soldiers, volunteers overwhelmingly committed to fight for their country

Shortly after Russia invaded on Feb. 24, Ukraine prohibited men aged 18 to 60 from leaving the country. Most willingly signed up for military service to fight for their country, despite it having no formal conscription. Some others, however, packed up a few belongings and quietly left.

“Thousands of Ukrainian men of military age have left the country to avoid participating in the war,” the New York Times wrote over the weekend. “Smuggling rings in Moldova, and possibly other European countries, have been doing a brisk business. Some people have paid up to $15,000 for a secret night-time ride out of Ukraine.”
