When Ramming ICE Became a Liberal Trend

In October, a politically connected illegal alien was charged with ramming ICE vehicles in Los Angeles. He was shot and wounded by an ICE officer, but after a grand jury indicted the illegal alien, an Obama judge threw out the charges.

The case was all too typical of how commonplace car attacks on ICE and immigration law enforcement had become and how sanctuary cities had conspired to legalize them.

Will Europe ever wake up? America loathes the continent’s elites

Stephen Miller is not one for gentility. “Nobody is going to fight the United States militarily over the future of Greenland,” Trump’s aide asserted brashly on CNN a few days ago, just hours after Maduro’s kidnapping by US forces. But if Miller’s pugnacious style was familiar, European reactions told a different story: they were scattered, confused and deeply revealing. Denmark’s prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, rebutted America’s annexation claims and warned that US aggression against Greenland would effectively mark the end of Nato, while in a joint statement, the leaders of France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, the UK and Greenland itself reaffirmed their commitment to the Atlantic Alliance while stating that Greenland belongs to its people and that decisions regarding the island are for Denmark and Greenland alone.

Canada has a demographics problem. Is immigration still the answer?

If this past year’s generational shift in the popular Canadian attitude to immigration can be pinpointed in hindsight on the calendar, it was somewhere around the beginning of November, when Canada’s population peaked and began to decline.

To be sure, the big inflection points on immigration had already passed, including the massive spike in the pandemic, driven by a wild gamble to increase temporary residents to juice the economy, followed eventually by the realization that this was putting impossible strain on housing and services, leading to large cuts in 2024 in the dying days of the Justin Trudeau prime ministership.

Woke woman says she feels guilty about attending memorial for ICE shooting victim because her ‘white tears are not helpful’

A woke woman said she felt guilty attending the memorial for the woman shot dead by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, as she claimed ‘white tears are not helpful.’

She was seen standing among other mourners at the spot where Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot three times in the face on Wednesday by a federal agent Jonathan Ross.

She nervously admitted to Daily Wire reporter Brecca Stoll that she was unsure if attending the memorial was the right thing to do because of her race.

‘WHITE SOLIDARITY’: Musk draws fire, racism accusations over social media posts

CALGARY — Elon Musk has once again become embroiled in controversy on X after he retweeted a post that critics are saying promotes “white supremacy.”

On Thursday, Musk quoted a post on X by Jerr (@jerr_rrej), a self-published author, which discussed how “if White men become a minority, we will be slaughtered.”

The only people upset at Musk’s remarks are the ones who want to kill us.

I left Trump’s America last year to teach in Canada. I didn’t expect this from Canadians

On Jan. 3, United States special forces swooped into Caracas and kidnapped Nicolás Maduro, the despotic Venezuelan president. After the event, U.S. President Donald Trump declared that America now “runs” Venezuela — and plans to seize 50 million barrels of its oil to sell on the open market.

This sort of explicit power-grab is unprecedented among NATO countries. Kidnapping the head of another state, then seizing that state’s assets and taking control of its government, is something even the most autocratic of rulers would shy away from. Yet shortly after abducting Maduro, Trump threatened Colombia’s leftist president Gustavo Petro — a democratically elected leader who is by no stretch of the imagination a despot — with the same fate.

The U.S. has been veering toward fascism for some time. That is why my family and I decided to leave for Canada last March: Canada is a diverse and healthy democracy. Yet in my short time here, I have observed an alarming level of naïveté about what is happening south of the border.

Yes, Somali Immigrants Commit More Crime Than Natives

Since the news of Minnesota’s sprawling Somali-linked fraud cases went national, debate over immigrant crime has flared once again. President Trump has dispatched federal agents to the Twin Cities to crack down on illegal immigrants. But Trump is overreacting, critics contend: the Somali immigrant population, they claim, does not have particularly high crime rates.

Alex Nowrasteh of the Cato Institute, for instance, set off considerable debate on X by posting a chart showing that Somali-born immigrants have, if anything, slightly lower incarceration rates than native-born Americans. Among those aged 18 to 54 included in the 2023 American Community Survey (ACS), 1,170 of every 100,000 people born in Somalia were incarcerated, versus 1,221 for the native-born.

Why Canadians feel unsafe despite crime rates dropping

I am one of those people who suffers from an acute, yet ephemeral, fear of flying, which washes over me the precise moment I feel the plane’s wheels lift off the tarmac. “What type of idiot risks her life in a metal box flying 30,000 feet above the ground?,” I think to myself as I look around the cabin, seeking comfort in the seemingly calm faces of the imputed idiots around me. I forget about this fear right around the moment the plane completes its ascent, only to be suffused with it yet again when the pilot announces he is ready to steer the flying metal box back down to Earth.

New StatsCan Survey Shows Canadians Losing Faith in Parliament and Media

Canada is experiencing a quiet but unmistakable crisis of legitimacy, and the numbers prove it.

New data from the Statistics Canada Canadian Social Survey for the fourth quarter of 2024 shows what many Canadians already feel in their gut: confidence in the country’s most powerful institutions is eroding fast. And nowhere is that collapse more obvious than in Federal Parliament and the Canadian media.

Iran’s supreme leader looking to flee, Trump says as protests spread

President Trump has said the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is looking to flee the country as protests against his rule continue to spread.

Thousands of Iranians took to the streets on Friday night during an internet blackout by the authorities as what started as anger over the collapsing economy escalated into the most significant wave of dissent against the Islamic regime since demonstrations over disputed elections in 2009.
