Ottawa convoy supporters dismiss authority of Emergencies Act, no plans to leave

Members of the Ottawa blockade that has kept the capital at a standstill for nearly three full weeks are calling the federal government’s use of the Emergencies Act a scare tactic.

Trucks, RVs and other vehicles with Canadian flags or banners with the word “freedom” in giant letters along their front grilles remain on Wellington Street in front of Parliament Hill, with drivers saying they will stay put until all COVID-19 vaccine mandates and restrictions are lifted.

Ontario reports 47 net new COVID-19 deaths; hospitalizations continue to fall

Ontario reported 47 net new COVID-19 deaths on Wednesday, as hospitalizations continued a lengthy decline and surveillance data indicated the pandemic is receding in all areas except for the north.

Ministry of Health spokesperson Alexandra Hilkene said one of the new deaths detected occurred on Tuesday, eight occurred on Monday and nine occurred on Sunday, with the remaining 28 occurring over the past 30 days.

Annual inflation rate tops 5 per cent for first time in 30 years

OTTAWA – Statistics Canada says the annual pace of inflation topped five per cent for the first time in more than 30 years.

The agency says the annual inflation rate rose to 5.1 per cent in January compared with a gain for 4.8 per cent in December.

Driving much of the increase in January were prices for housing, gasoline and groceries.

Police will soon establish ‘no-go’ zones in Ottawa’s downtown core, minister says

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino sought to assure Ottawa residents Tuesday that the chaos in their city will soon end as local law enforcement, bolstered by the RCMP, works around the clock to restore order.

Empowered by the federal government’s move to invoke the Emergencies Act, police will soon establish “no-go” zones in the city’s downtown core to control unruly crowds associated with the anti-vaccine mandate convoy protest, the minister said. People who defy orders to leave, he added, will face fines or jail time, or both.

If Canada had a loyal opposition they would stand with the Truckers.

But we get what we deserve and what we have is a corrupt permanent political class and a scared one at that.

Parliament is overrun by lifestyle politicians aided by an ever expanding predatory “public service” whose goal is our financial and spiritual impoverishment.

Their bought media and minions are gleefully ratting out our fellow citizens for the crime of peaceably protesting.

They are threatening protesters with financial ruin, even jail.

So like Trudeauscu’s beloved Cuba and Uncle Fidel’s Block-Watchers.

We are not far at all from criminalizing dissent as a psychiatric disorder.

And don’t we all look forward to Junior’s internet censorship legislation.

No one in good conscience can ever vote for a mainstream party again.

We are a shithole nation.

Because we let them.

RCMP charge four men with plotting to murder officers in connection with Coutts border protest

Four Alberta men are in custody accused of plotting to murder RCMP officers and nine other people are facing weapons and mischief offences as part of what RCMP say was a significant and organized threat by a heavily armed group at the Coutts border protest – and the first public steps in an continuing RCMP investigation into illegal activity at the blockade.

“I can tell you that this threat was very serious,” said Southern Alberta RCMP Chief Superintendent Trevor Daroux, speaking at an RCMP press conference Tuesday evening.

The arrests began after RCMP tactical officers raided two camper trailers and a mobile home on 1st Avenue North in Coutts shortly after midnight on Monday.

Should prove an interesting case. Look to the past.

Canada Is Looking Like The Old DDR! Freedom Convoy Supporters Are Being Doxxed In Trudeauscu’s Sick Realm

Threats close Stella Luna Gelato Café after owner’s name appears in GiveSendGo data leak

Ottawa’s Stella Luna Gelato Café was forced to close Tuesday after receiving threats when owner Tammy Giuliani’s name appeared on a hacked list of GiveSendGo donors to the Ottawa “Freedom Convoy.”

Giuliani says that she now regrets making her $250 donation on Feb. 5 and that staff in the shop had begun receiving threats Monday morning after her donation was posted on Twitter.

Tory staffer suddenly departs Queen’s Park after donating $100 to convoy protests

Solicitor General Sylvia Jones’s director of communications is out of a job after donating $100 earlier this month to the the convoy protests that have blockaded border crossings and occupied Ottawa, sources told the Star.

Marion Isabeau-Ringuette parted ways with Premier Doug Ford’s government on Tuesday afternoon, 10 days after she donated money to the so-called “Freedom Convoy.”

“Ms. Isabeau-Ringuette no longer works for the Ontario government,” Ivana Yelich, Ford’s executive director of media relations, said Tuesday evening.

N.B. business owner says he donated $75,000 to Freedom Convoy

A business owner from the southern New Brunswick village of Sussex Corner has confirmed he made what appears to be one of the largest donations to the Freedom Convoy that has gridlocked the streets of Ottawa around Parliament Hill.

In a written statement Monday afternoon, Brad Howland, president of the pressure-washing company Easy Kleen, called the protest “a beautiful, legal, peaceful protest,” which he visited on the weekend.

Ratting out your neighbor is undeniably progressive.

No spying on Trump? 35 times Big Media lied

In his latest court filings, special counsel John Durham isn’t just taking down team Clinton’s wall of defense against charges of spying on Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign, but he’s revealing just how vigorously the liberal media worked to hold that wall up.

Over five years, news personalities on the “Big Three” networks and left-leaning cable channels repeatedly dismissed the charges. “There was no spying” was heard as often as Trump’s claim of “fake news.”

Manchester Arena Inquiry: Secret evidence reveals what MI5 knew about Jihadi Salman Abedi

An MI5 officer who wrongly assessed key intelligence related to the Manchester Arena bomb plot has accepted it could have been seen at the time to be of “pressing national security concern”.

Salman Abedi murdered 22 people when he detonated a homemade device after an Ariane Grande concert in May 2017.

A gist of secret evidence sessions held last year has been read at the public inquiry into the atrocity.

It revealed new information about MI5’s knowledge about the bomber.

How the CDC Abandoned Science

Mass youth hospitalizations, COVID-induced diabetes, and other myths from the brave new world of science as political propaganda

The main federal agency guiding America’s pandemic policy is the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, which sets widely adopted policies on masking, vaccination, distancing, and other mitigation efforts to slow the spread of COVID and ensure the virus is less morbid when it leads to infection. The CDC is, in part, a scientific agency—they use facts and principles of science to guide policy—but they are also fundamentally a political agency: The director is appointed by the president of the United States, and the CDC’s guidance often balances public health and welfare with other priorities of the executive branch.

For many inside the Freedom Convoy, faith fuels the resistance

Trucker George Dyck ate a hot dog after the federal government announced Monday it would use emergency powers to break up the Freedom Convoy currently entrenched in the shadow of the Peace Tower in Ottawa.

Dyck says he doesn’t fear Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s decision to invoke the Emergencies Act, which could set the stage for aggressive police action, lead to the freezing of his bank account and the loss of his insurance.

“I take it one step at a time,” said Dyck. “In all honesty, God is my shield, and that is what I stand by.”

Pentagon’s Latest Strategy: Promote Socialism To Combat China

The Pentagon is slated to host an event on Wednesday making “the case for global justice and democratic socialism” as a means to combat China’s rise, sparking ire on Capitol Hill.

UK: Elderly Victims of Rape Are Silenced

Sharia strikes in care homes.

West Yorkshire is ground zero for Muslim rapists. The grooming-gang hot spots of Keighley, Batley, Bradford, Leeds, Kirklees and Dewsbury all fall under the West Yorkshire banner.

And while we have all been anticipating more horrific reporting and cover-ups regarding the rapes that are happening on the streets and in people’s houses, a Freedom Of Information (FOI) request has revealed that sexual assaults have continued to be common in care homes in the area for at least the past couple of years. “200 residents of care establishments across the region, including nursing homes, were victims of sexual offences between the start of 2018 and the end of 2021.” Twenty-five of the victims were staff members, and only one of the assaults has resulted in a charge. And yet we were promised, years ago, that all of these cover-ups and failings by police, social services, care home staff, politicians, and more had been sorted, that the cracks in the system were all identified and fixed, that lessons had been learnt, and that every female in the care system was now processed dutifully and safely sheltered by every protection agency in the land.

Newton, the Third Law of Motion, and Canadian Truckers

Sir Isaac Newton published his laws of motion in 1687, the third of which states, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”

This law is the foundation of rocket science where engines must fire and burn fuel that accelerates from the rear of the craft. This causes a force in the opposite direction to push the rocket forward.

Dribble a basketball, the same thing. The harder and faster you push down on the ball, the harder and faster it will bounce back up.

The Covid regime has fooled us all

Did mass formation psychosis make us easy to deceive?

In the late stages of the American Covid regime, “The Science” has become dramatically less important to the ruling class. Notably missing from a new debate about masking policy, in which President Biden has cast doubt on the recent decision by seven Democratic governors to lift their state’s mandates as “probably premature”, is any indication that either side had registered the mounting evidence that mask mandates have not worked.

Canada’s emergency law invoked over fear of ‘serious violence’ for political, ideological gain say lying rat bastard Trudeauscu minions

Concerns about “serious violence” for political and ideological gain are among the reasons cited by the federal government for invoking Canada’s Emergencies Act over the so-called “Freedom Convoy.”

An executive order issued on Tuesday formalized the decision, which comes as the convoy blockade of the nation’s capital enters its nineteenth day with no clear end in sight.

“This is not a peaceful protest,” said Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Monday.

Tyranny Arrives in Canada

As many of us expected, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau has decided to invoke the War Measures Act, euphemistically renamed the Emergency Act, to put an end to the trucker protests by according greater powers to the police to detain, arrest, and fine protesters and to forcibly dismantle the blockades. These measures are “about keeping Canadians safe, protecting people’s jobs, and restoring confidence in our institutions,” Trudeau announced.
