The march of Islam in Belgium

In Belgium, Islam is rapidly replacing Christianity. When a society no longer knows a reason to exist, others find it.

A church in Forest, Brussels, has been transformed into … a climbing gym. “In Belgium, it’s the first time,” says Dhnet. This was announced by Mayor Mariam El Hamidine of Ecologists. At the same time, the old church on rue de l’Eglise in Masnuy-Saint-Jean was officially put up for sale for 100,000 euros. The decision was made by the city council. In Nivelles another church ended up on the market. Then the Ciney church was sold for € 200,000. In Ghent, the church of Sant’Anna has been converted into a supermarket. And in Beyne-Heusay, 2 out of 5 churches will be demolished.

And this to record changes only for the last three months. Going a little further back is the church of Petit Wasmes, in Wallonia, converted into apartments, while in Anderlecht the great church of St. Francis will become a sports center.

Canadian lawyer says experimental COVID jab cannot ‘legally’ be forced upon population

A Canadian lawyer has condemned COVID jabs mandates as an “affront to democracy” and hitherto something expected only from “authoritarian regimes.”

“Canadians cannot legally be subjected to forced injections, especially not with an experimental drug treatment that is still undergoing long-term clinical trials and for which there is no long-term safety data,” Allison Kindle Pejovic, a lawyer for the Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF), told LifeSiteNews.

How long can humans survive?

This time of plenty won’t last for ever

In the deep ocean, occasionally, a whale carcass falls to the bottom of the sea. Most of the time, in the state of nature, creatures have just about enough to survive. But the first creatures to find the whale have more food than they could ever eat. These scavengers live lives of extraordinary plenty — some of the smaller, faster-breeding species might do so for several generations. There is enough to go around a thousand times over. For a while.

Pop star sparks protests over insult to Islam

Iconic Turkish singer Sezen Aksu has come under fire from government and religious officials who accuse her of insulting Adam and Eve in lyrics to her 2017 song ‘Sahane Bir Sey Yasamak’ (which roughly translates to ‘Living is a wonderful thing’).

The controversy erupted after the pop diva shared the song on her official YouTube account to mark the New Year, according to the Daily Sabah. Although the lyrics apparently did not receive much attention when the song was released, the news outlet reported that Aksu is being criticized for insulting the couple, who are considered sacred figures in Islam and referred to with religious honorific titles.

Just sub CBC for BBC…

Why should we pay for a BBC that hates us?

… Life before Blair was a grey, damp horror, a cultural wasteland of prejudice where Oswald Mosley had huge amounts of support (strangely enough, insinuating that people’s grandparents were all fascists doesn’t endear them to you). Working-class whites are bigots who can’t be trusted with basic information in case they start a race war. Fiona Bruce has kittens live on air when a doctor states the simple fact that it’s impossible to change sex. The BBC’s younger journalists have to be told that people have different opinions. If upper-class or working-class people can’t be shamed or blamed for something, the BBC just isn’t interested. It is stultifyingly bourgeois.

A few details changed and this piece could have been about the CBC.

Maybe there is a common cultural disease that infects “state broadcasters.”

Germany Shows Lack of Resolve Against Russian Threats

It refuses to provide arms to Ukraine while other NATO members step up to do so.

Fears are rising that Germany is failing to do enough to prevent a Russian invasion and failing to aid Ukraine in the case of an attack amid warnings from the White House that Russian troops could invade at any time.

U.S. officials say there is evidence Russia is planning to overthrow Ukraine’s government and take Kyiv, CNN reported Tuesday. Russia is also deploying troops into Belarus — a development that U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield said Tuesday shows Russia “is making moves that would suggest that they have plans to invade.”

The false mystery of motives

The evil that we saw at a Texas synagogue is not senseless. It is self-gratifying

Faced with some high-profile crimes, our law enforcement authorities are finding it hard to say what has prompted “suspects” to pursue deadly violence.

Even President Biden found himself baffled by what would lead a known Islamist terrorist to invade a synagogue on Saturday night and hold a rabbi and other members of his congregation hostage.

Soros General Demands Purge of Military

Paul Eaton TDS

The United States has Soros prosecutors who have turned our cities into violent hellholes where criminals run loose, Soros politicians who wage war on this nation from the ramparts of their offices, and Soros generals who advocate for political purges of the nation’s military.

Recently the Washington Post ran an op-ed from three retired generals, Antonio Taguba, an immigrant who had accused America of war crimes during the fight against Islamic terrorists in Iraq, Steven Anderson, a board member of the left-wing VoteVets, and Paul Eaton, a senior VoteVets adviser, urging that the military prepare for a “2024 insurrection” in proper Soviet style.

Ontario will allow in-person dining to resume at 50 per cent capacity at the end of the month: sources

The restrictions were supposed to be in effect until at least Jan. 26 but lifting them was contingent on improving public health indicators.

According to multiple sources, the Ford government now plans to allow 50 per cent capacity in restaurants as of Jan. 31 and will gradually lift other public health restrictions throughout the month of February.

At this point it remains unclear when other sectors that are currently prohibited from operating, such as gyms and theatres, will be able to reopen but Premier Doug Ford did appear to suggest that “positive news” was coming for shuttered business while speaking with a cameraperson at Queen’s Park earlier on Wednesday.

Trudeau promises to support Ukraine as Canadian warship departs for Black Sea

HALIFAX – A Canadian warship departed for Europe and the Black Sea near Russia on Wednesday, as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau admitted to fears of a Russian invasion in Ukraine.

Trudeau went on to accuse Russia of trying to start a fight with Ukraine and promised Canada’s support to the Ukrainian people, who are on edge as 100,000 Russian troops sit on their country’s eastern border.

Yet the prime minister stopped short when asked for details, including whether the government will extend a 200-soldier Canadian training mission in Ukraine whose mandate is set to expire at the end of March.

Sabrina Maddeaux: The Liberals are denying citizens their charter right to re-enter Canada

It may be unpopular to stand up for travellers during COVID-19, but violations of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms should concern every Canadian. Reports coming out of the U.S. suggest our federal government is de facto denying Canadian citizens a key right : the one to enter, remain in, or leave Canada.

Joe Biden one year on: Has the United States become ungovernable?

Long before the sun had risen over the dome of the US Capitol on the day that Joe Biden was sworn in as president, technicians on the inaugural platform tested the teleprompter he would later read from by scrolling through America’s most celebrated sermon:

“Four score and seven years ago, our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure.”

When I first saw the lines of the Gettysburg Address on those screens in front of the presidential podium, I thought it must be some kind of sick joke. However, the words of Abraham Lincoln could hardly be described as being out of place. Washington, after all, looked that morning like a military encampment.
