KENOSHA, Wis. (AP) — Jurors weighing charges against Kyle Rittenhouse were to return Wednesday for a second day of deliberations in his murder trial, after they failed to reach a swift verdict on whether he was the instigator in a night of bloodshed in Kenosha or a concerned citizen who came under attack while trying to protect property.

The jury of 12 deliberated for a full day Tuesday without reaching a decision. Several appeared tired as they walked into the courtroom Tuesday evening and indicated with a show of hands that they were ready to go home.

OTTAWA — Erin O’Toole kicked Sen. Denise Batters out of the Conservative caucus Tuesday — one day after she challenged his leadership.

“As the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, I will not tolerate an individual discrediting and showing a clear lack of respect towards the efforts of the entire Conservative caucus, who are holding the corrupt and disastrous Trudeau government to account,” O’Toole said in a brief statement released late Tuesday.

New Hampshire high school student sues district and principal after he was suspended for saying ‘there are only two genders’

Asshole.

A New Hampshire student-athlete and his mother are suing the school district after he was suspended from a football game for expressing his view that there are ‘only two genders.’

The freshman student – only identified as M.P. in court documents – was discussing the difficulty of addressing a non-binary person in Spanish with his friends on the school bus when another student interjected to argue when M.P. replied, ‘There are only genders.’

After the short discussion on the bus, the students engaged in a debate over gender and sexuality in text messages. Those messages were turned into school administrators who suspended M.P. for ‘not respecting pronouns.’

The Myths of Black Victimization and White Supremacy in Today’s The United States

How many lefty Facebook chowderheads have you seen say, “If Rittenhouse was black the cops would have shot him dead!” Let’s look into that.

Eighteen-year-old Timothy Simpkins recently got beaten up at school. He came back later, pulled a gun, shot the kid who beat him up, and shot two others in the process. A fourth person was injured in the fracas. He was out on $75,000 bond in less than 24 hours. His mommy threw him a party.

The otherization of unvaccinated people is proceeding quickly

In America, a medical ethicist says it’s fine for primary care practitioners to refuse to treat unvaccinated people. In France, older people who don’t get their boosters will be denied access to amenities. And in Austria, unvaccinated people will be confined to house arrest. For a disease with a minimal mortality rate for healthy people under 60, the race to otherize them continues unabated.

“It’s going to be hard for Black people to work and it isn’t fair to expect them to.”

On Wednesday afternoon, the Vice Chair of the Oregon Democrats Black Caucus suggested that employers give their black employees at least one day off and possibly two after the verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial is delivered because no matter what the verdict would be, it would be hard for black people to work and it wouldn’t be fair to expect them to.

FBI Whistleblower Claims DOJ Used Counterterrorism Tools Against Parents: Republicans

An unnamed whistleblower disclosed documents suggesting that the FBI is using its counterterrorism resources to investigate parents or individuals who threaten school board members, teachers, or other staff, according to a letter sent by the House Judiciary GOP dated Tuesday.

The GOP letter included copies of the documents allegedly sourced from the FBI whistleblower that included an email sent by Carlton L. Peeples, who serves in the bureau’s Inspection Division, saying that the Counterterrorism and Criminal Division “created a threat tag, EDUOFFICIALS, to track instances of related threats.”

John Robson: Perhaps Erin O’Toole and Jason Kenney could try being conservatives

The front page of Tuesday’s National Post highlighted the obvious troubles of Jason Kenney and Erin O’Toole , namely dismal polling numbers and party revolts. But the cause deserves attention too: Both deliberately jettisoned any semblance of principle in pursuit of partisan gain and for some reason aren’t popular with conservatives or voters. Weird, huh?

Liverpool suicide bomber built ‘Mother of Satan’ explosive filled with ballbearings

The Liverpool suicide attacker built a ‘Mother of Satan’ ball bearing bomb used by ISIS extremists to ’cause maximum carnage’ and may have been driven to take revenge after his asylum bids kept being turned down, it was claimed today.

Enzo Almeni, 32, a Muslim who converted to Christianity four years ago, was killed after the homemade device exploded as his taxi pulled up at Liverpool Women’s Hospital just before before the 11am minute’s silence on Remembrance Sunday.

His bomb was made using homemade TATP explosives. TATP is unstable and known as a ‘Mother of Satan’ because it is liable to blow up accidentally. It was used by Islamist terrorist in the Paris suicide attacks of 2015, the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017 and the failed Parsons Green Underground station.

Ford government promises $75M over next 3 years to fight gun, gang violence in campaign-style announcement

The Ontario government announced Tuesday it will invest $75.1 million over the next three years to combat gun violence and crime across the province at a campaign-style announcement in Toronto.

The move, which comes not long after calls to defund the police made headlines, was included in the recent fall economic statement.

“Gun and gang violence will not be allowed to thrive in Ontario,” Premier Doug Ford said at a news conference Tuesday, ahead of the June election. “There can be no mercy when it comes down to cracking down on these crimes.”

This will work as well as all the other millions thrown at “Gangs and Guns” I’m betting.

Rex Murphy: We need a goal of net-zero climate conferences by 2030

Lorrie Goldstein — sage columnist and editor emeritus of the Toronto Sun — is among the first to call for an end to the gigantic, carbon-spewing gatherings of tech tycoons, decaying aristocrats, current and former heads of state, louche Hollywood prattlers and green fanatics, known as the Conference of the Parties, which, for 26 consecutive years, have tormented the sanity of the world. With immensely refreshing directness, the lede sentence of his latest column says what needs to be said: “It’s time to put the United Nations’ annual global gabfest on climate change out of its misery and ours.”
