Military chaplains who adhere to traditional Christian teaching find themselves with targets on their backs in Joe Biden’s military. Its amorphous definition of “bigotry” clearly extends to the historic teachings of Christianity about the natural moral law. Earlier this year, a chaplain who merely criticized transgenderism in a Facebook post was subject to an Army investigation.

A foreshadowing of the persecution of Christian military chaplains could already be glimpsed under the Obama-Biden administration. In 2010, a top Army official described conservative Christian members of the military as “bigoted” and said those who can’t support the LGBT agenda “need to get out.”

Among Europe’s dirtiest: ‘Green’ biomass power plant in Yorkshire burning ‘renewable’ wood emits MORE CO2 than UK’s coal – report

A supposedly “carbon neutral” Drax biomass power plant is the UK’s leading source of CO2 emissions, and belches out more harmful carbon and particulate matter than some of Europe’s dirtiest coal plants, according to a new report.

Renewable energy firm Drax describes its plant in North Yorkshire as a “purely renewable” facility, boasting that it has slashed its carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 90% since 2012. The plant burns biomass – pellets of compressed wood – and received £832 million ($1.13 billion) in direct government subsidies last year, on top of an estimated £258 million ($351 million) in carbon tax breaks.

A new report by a Finnish telecom analyst has become the latest piece of evidence to show that Canadians pay more for cellphone service than anyone else.

California law requires stores have gender-neutral area for children’s products

California has become the first state to require large retailers to have gender-neutral sections for products like toys and toothbrushes — a law pushed by LGBT advocates who say that pink and blue marketing reinforces gender stereotypes and is harmful to children.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed the new law Saturday that mandates large stores offer a gender-neutral section to display “a reasonable selection” of items “regardless of whether they have been traditionally marketed for either girls or for boys.”

Chinese hackers breached a major Afghan telecommunications company as the United States withdrew from Afghanistan, an early sign of Beijing’s attempt to gain a foothold in the country.

At least two China-backed hackers breached Afghan telecommunications giant Roshan earlier this year, according to a report from the Insikt Group, a cybersecurity research firm. Hacking groups ramped up their efforts in August and September, as U.S. troops began leaving the country. The breach could give China access to “hugely valuable” information about the network itself and high-value individuals who use it, the researchers said.

US navy engineer charged with trying to sell nuclear submarine secrets

A US navy nuclear engineer with access to military secrets has been charged with trying to pass information about the design of American nuclear-powered submarines to someone he thought was a representative of a foreign government – but who turned out to be an undercover FBI agent.

In a criminal complaint detailing espionage-related charges against Jonathan Toebbe, the US Department of Justice said he sold information for nearly the past year to a contact he believed represented a foreign power. That country was not named in the court documents.

Border left ‘wide open’ after red states pull National Guard and police

MCALLEN, Texas — The swarm of National Guard soldiers and state police that governors sent to guard the Texas-Mexico border earlier this summer are gone, leaving the border effectively unmanned with just 6% of the reinforcements left behind.

“We used to have a National Guard posted there,” Border Patrol agent Chris Cabrera told the Washington Examiner while driving along a dirt road that runs parallel with the border near the Hidalgo port of entry late one evening recently. “There was another one right over here, but they took that guy, too.”

One woman is dead and 14 people are injured after a gunfight broke out in a bar in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Police are looking for “several shooters,” and no arrests have yet been made.

Police were called to a bar in downtown Saint Paul in the early hours of Sunday morning, and came upon a “hellish situation,” spokesman Steve Linders told reporters. Gunshot victims stumbled onto the sidewalk outside the bar, while others lay wounded inside.

I don’t see the CPC abandoning its leftward course and they really should consider dropping conservative from the party name. The PPC is not a rival to the CPC, the LPC is.
