US military ‘blames BRITAIN for making Kabul suicide attack death toll worse’

The so-called ‘special relationship’ came under further strain after the Pentagon was today accused of trying to blame Britain for making the number of people killed in Thursday’s ISIS-K suicide bombing at Kabul airport worse than it could otherwise have been.

US security sources said they begged to shut down a gate being used at Hamid Karzai International Airport in Afghanistan’s capital city before it was hit by the deadly jihadist attack – but Britain wanted it kept open to continue its evacuation campaign.

The new twist came as survivors of the deadly blast claimed panicked US troops opened fire on the crowds of evacuees in the bloody aftermath, killing their loved-ones including a British father-of-two.

US ‘puts pressure on Britain to hand over Prince Andrew for questioning over Jeffrey Epstein sex abuse claims’

Prince Andrew – Duke of Diddling

The US has put pressure on Britain in a bid to force Prince Andrew to co-operate with investigators over sex abuse claims, it has been reported.

Investigators probing the case of Ghislaine Maxwell and other associates of dead billionaire paedophile Jeffrey Epstein are said to want to speak to the Duke of York about his friendship with the paedophile financier.

Officials from President Biden’s government reaffirmed the US and UK’s ‘close relationship’ when it comes to offering ‘legal assistance’ in criminal matters amid growing frustration over Prince Andrew’s refusal to engage with investigators

Sorry B.C., but electorally speaking, you look like Ontario

This is my seventh federal election in B.C. as a pollster for Ipsos.

Every election since my first in 2004, people have asked me if this is the one where B.C. is going to make a difference. It used to be that a winner was often declared before British Columbians even turned on their televisions to see the results come in. Voting times by region are more uniform these days, but people still want to know if a shift in B.C. will make a difference to the final outcome.

Western separatists, dismayed by the current direction of Erin O’Toole’s Conservative Party draw inspiration from Bloc Québécois.

CAYLEY, ALTA. — Western separatists, dismayed by the current direction of Erin O’Toole’s Conservative Party this election, are drawing inspiration from an unlikely source: the Bloc Québécois.

“We can learn from Quebec,” said Jay Hill, interim leader of the Maverick Party, formerly known as Wexit Canada.

Resentments among some in the West toward Ottawa continue to run high in Western provinces, particularly in Alberta and Saskatchewan, where frustrations are mounting over a perceived lack of appreciation for its oil and gas industry and a federal transfer system that has starved the West of much-needed revenues.

Latest Nanos daily polling still indicates a likely Liberal minority government.

‘Peak End of Empire’: Met Police SKEWERED for reportedly considering new ‘woke gender-neutral uniform’ for officers

Scotland Yard has drawn ridicule for indulging in “woke political nonsense” after it emerged that the UK’s largest police force is apparently set to conduct a review into whether to issue gender-neutral uniforms to its officers.

The Metropolitan Police is reportedly consulting its 30,000 officers on the current uniform. With the contract with its current uniform supplier set to expire in 2023, the force is said to be reviewing what changes need to be made when a new contract is signed.

O’Toole threatens candidate with expulsion for straying from Greenscam orthodoxy

Tories tell candidate who raised concern over ‘climate lockdown’ to take down videos

Butt welded shut.

The Conservative Party told Global News on Sunday that Cheryl Gallant was told to take down videos from her YouTube channel and that she has to fully support all parts of the party’s platform or else she will no longer be a Conservative candidate.

The videos in question included one in which Gallant, who is up for re-election in the Ottawa Valley riding of Renfrew—Nipissing—Pembroke, warned constituents that the Liberals are preparing for a “climate lockdown.”

O’Toole clearly needs more sphincter relaxant.

Anger over pandemic election rises as some Canadians feel unsafe voting in person: poll

Canadians’ anger over an election being called amid the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is not going away, a new poll suggests — in fact, it has risen as the campaign has gone on.

The Ipsos poll conducted exclusively for Global News found 58 per cent of those surveyed agree the country should not be holding an election right now, up two points over the past two weeks.

“This is a persistent issue … the feeling that having this election at this time is inappropriate,” said Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Public Affairs.

The Dream Palaces of the Americans

Afghanistan belongs to the Taliban now, but the Washington elite still has Palestine as an object of its active fantasy life. Naftali Bennett would be wise to stick to the reality principle.

When new Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett meets with President Joe Biden and his minders at the White House today, a few things seem like sure bets. First, Bennett and his aides will lay out a scheme for keeping Iran from going nuclear, which the Americans will nod at and ignore. Second, the American side will solemnly raise the necessity of establishing a Palestinian state living side by side in peace with Israel.

Instead of nodding, smiling, and pretending to share the dream of peaceful democratic Palestinian statehood, Bennett could show true friendship to America by pointing to the example of Afghanistan. It’s clear no one in the American political establishment has yet internalized the lesson.

I don’t understand how Malala didn’t make everything right.
