Havana Accuses US-paid Mercenaries of Fomenting Weekend’s Protests

Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla has accused US-paid mercenaries of fomenting Sunday’s mass protests across several Cuban cities, and blasted Washington’s “hypocritical” reaction to the unrest, suggesting that if the Biden administration really wanted to “help” Cuba, it should lift its crushing sanctions.

“Yesterday’s events in Cuba were not a social uprising, but disorder, disturbances caused by a communicational operation that had been prepared for some time and to which millions of dollars had been committed,” Rodriguez said in a televised address.

Canada’s pandemic warning system was understaffed and unready when COVID hit, review finds

An important position at the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) was vacant and the country’s pandemic early warning system was understaffed when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, an independent panel has found.

The final report on what went wrong at that key moment with the Global Public Health Intelligence Network (GPHIN) — a multilingual monitoring system that scours the internet for reports of infectious diseases — was released today.

The report says that, among other things, surveillance was not well co-ordinated in the four years leading up to the arrival of the novel coronavirus, a problem the report says was partly due to the fact that a key position — chief health surveillance officer — had been left vacant since 2017 and was due to be eliminated.

Gay men will be crushed to death by pushing a wall onto them Taliban judge reveals … In other words a return to Islamic “Normalcy”

Taliban Pride Parade

A Taliban judge has given a terrifying glimpse into life under the Islamist group and the fate that awaits Afghanis if the country falls back under their control.

Gul Rahim, 38, spoke matter-of-factly about cutting hands and legs off thieves, issuing permits for women to leave their homes and toppling walls on gay men as a form of execution in his Taliban-controlled district in central Afghanistan.

He added that his aim is to introduce the Sharia law punishments across the whole of the country if the Taliban can re-take control once America departs, saying: ‘That was our goal and always will be.’

Was The Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey Subversively Islamophobic?!?

London Borough Apologizes For Rainbow Dildo Butt Monkey

Redbridge Libraries acknowledged the lapse in judgement and apologized for hosting the performance, but shifted the blame onto the charity Vision. It was they, rather than the borough council, who were responsible for organizing the event, the statement said.

Then again that damn monkey may have had a subversive agenda beyond child grooming…

Now Belief in Creationism Is ‘White Supremacy.’

In a silly non-scientific op-ed at Scientific American, Allison Hopper declares that “denial of evolution” is a form of “white supremacy.” No, it’s not a satire piece. It’s a bigoted anti-Christian rant masquerading as a science op-ed. In it, Hopper, whose bio says she’s a “filmmaker and designer,” claims that “evolution denial” perpetuates violence against black people…

If a federal election were called, would Conservative premiers take on Ottawa again? … Wait… There are Conservative Premiers?

“Everybody is looking for a change, but nobody has the energy to start the movement,” said Alise Mills, a Conservative strategist and senior counsel with Sussex Strategy Group.

“Every premier in this country has got a few scars and battle wounds, and some are bleeding heavier than others and know that the focus has to be on holding their ground and winning back what they’ve lost during the pandemic.”

My racist math doesn’t see it happening, much less an O’Toole victory.

Evidence “lost” in case of soldier accused of feeding cannabis-laced cupcakes to gunners, lawyer says

Evidence in a bizarre case of a Canadian soldier accused of drugging comrades with marijuana-laced cupcakes was lost by military police, says the soldier’s lawyer — who accuses the Department of National Defence of conducting a sloppy, incompetent investigation.

Bombardier Chelsea Cogswell’s military trial is slated to start next month. It’s believed to be the first of its kind.

She faces 18 charges, including administering a noxious substance to eight soldiers without their consent in July 2018 at CFB Gagetown. At the time, the soldiers were taking part in a live-fire exercise involving explosives and weapons drills.

America’s Far-Left Silent As Cubans Cry Out For Freedom From Communist Dictatorship

Top far-left figures in American politics were silent on Sunday as Cubans took to the streets crying out for freedom from the nation’s communist dictatorship.

Videos circulated on social media of Cubans marching in the streets, protesting the impoverished conditions of the island and their lack of freedom under the far-left communist regime. They did so while chanting “Liberty” and “Freedom” and waving an American flag. The communist dictatorship later started cracking down on the protests, allegedly inflicting violence on the unarmed protesters and cutting off internet access.

Gaslights all over: San Francisco D.A. Chesa Boudin smears his critics and defends his record as crime engulfs city

Now that Neiman-Marcus has been openly looted, Target has cut its hours to stave shoplifting losses, and Walgreens can’t take it anymore and has shut 17 stores, what does San Francisco’s pro-criminal far-left district attorney, Chesa Boudin have to say for himself?

Everyone else is at fault. Oh, and he’s got a good record, too.

Democrats Are Quietly Admitting That Going ‘Woke’ Was a Very Bad Idea

This experiment has derailed. It’s not similar in any way since Republicans aren’t this crazy concerning political correctness, but there was a dominant wing of the party that simply had to be told to get to the back of the bus around 2016. The neoconservative project derailed post-Iraq War. Americans were not going to keep a GOP majority in Congress over national security fears. They were tired of endless wars. They were not patient over this nation-building nonsense. They saw the bill we paid, what we got, and we’re not pleased.
