The hilarious breakdown of the Islamo-left alliance

With growing tensions between socially conservative Muslims and progressive liberals, what is the future of their traditional alliance on the British left? If events of the past week are anything to go by, the answer appears to be that there isn’t one.

This uneasy marriage got a reality check last week when a Green Party councillor and practising Muslim, Mothin Ali, appeared reluctant to sign a set of ‘pledges’ on behalf of the LGBTQIA+ Greens, Feminist Greens and other similar groups. The MP for Blackburn, ‘Gaza Independent’ Adnan Hussain, then waded into the debate. ‘It’s no secret that Muslims tend to be socially conservative’, Hussain said. ‘Is there a space on the left to create a broad enough church to allow Muslims an authentic space, just as it does other minority groups?’

Muhsin Hendricks – Gay Imam assassinated South Africa

Muhsin Hendricks, a pioneering figure dubbed the world’s first openly gay imam, has been shot dead in South Africa.

The 57-year-old cleric ran a mosque in Cape Town intended as a safe haven for gay and other marginalised Muslims. He was killed on Saturday morning after the car in which he was travelling near the southern city of Gqeberha was ambushed.

“Two unknown suspects with covered faces got out of the vehicle and started firing multiple shots at the vehicle,” police said in a statement.

$1 million offered to LGBT groups to hold pride march in Gaza, PA

The head of a watchdog organization has offered a one million dollar reward to ‘Queers for Palestine’ or any LGBTQ organization that holds a pride march in Gaza or areas controlled by the Palestinian Authority.

New Tolerance Campaign (NTC) President Gregory T. Angelo, who is gay, said that the offer should serve as a “wake-up call” for LGBTQ organizations that side with the Hamas terrorist organization over Israel.

It’s been six weeks since a brazen, allegedly bigoted attack took place on the street in a major Canadian city. It should have been national news. Perhaps under different circumstances, it would have been.

Psst … Muslims will literally throw you off a roof – “Discourse around Pride and Palestinian rights part of history of activism in the 2SLGBTQ+ community”

In the wake of the Hamas-led attack on Israel on Oct. 7 last year and Israel’s subsequent military assault in Gaza, Halifax Pride and other organizations in Canada have faced calls from parts of the 2SLGBTQ+ community to support Palestinian people.

Community educator Aaliyah Paris is one non-binary and queer person in Halifax who’s made that call.

She wants more transparency from Halifax Pride, and for it to divest from companies on the Canadian boycott, divest and sanction (BDS) list — a group of firms, organizations and people that pro-Palestinian groups say should be boycotted to put pressure on Israel.

Hezbollah has declared war against the enemy. No, not just Israel

“… The “danger” he speaks of emanates from Lebanon’s LGBTQ+ population. It is the lesbians, gays, bisexuals and trans people that preoccupy his Party of God.

The sayyid has seen the enemy and the enemy is queer. Which is why Nasrallah repeatedly dehumanizes and demonizes LGBTQ+ people.

“The culture of homosexuality is very influential and comes from the United States,” he complained in a televised speech. “It is not only demonic; it has real effects.”

Hearts and Minds: All that blood and treasure wasted in IRAQ is now so worth it!

Passage of harsh anti-LGBTQ+ law in Iraq draws diplomatic backlash

BAGHDAD (AP) — Human rights groups and diplomats criticized a law that was quietly passed by the Iraqi parliament over the weekend that would impose heavy prison sentences on gay and transgender people.

U.S. State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said in a statement that the law passed Saturday “threatens those most at risk in Iraqi society” and “can be used to hamper free-speech and expression.” He warned that the legislation could drive away foreign investment.

“International business coalitions have already indicated that such discrimination in Iraq will harm business and economic growth in the country,” the statement said.

When will they learn? Islam gonna Islam.

Minnesota school district allows parents to opt children out of LGBTQ lessons after six Somali Muslim families threatened legal action over religious freedom

How can “Queers for Palestine” not know about Sharia law and its treatment of Gays?

A Minnesota school district will allow parents to withdraw their children from LGBTQ lessons after six Somali Muslim families threatened to sue when books discussing gender identity where introduced to their elementary school classroom.

St. Louis Park Public Schools granted the opt-out requests in January and February after parents complained at a school board meeting in October there was not a process in place for them to exempt their students from reading LGBTQ material.

Several Somali mothers spoke at a school board meeting on October 24 claiming books that are against their religious beliefs were introduced to the children without their knowledge.

Don’t even dream about this if you’re Christian.
